Juniper was bored of things being quiet and decided to search after another bludger. She caught up with one and hit it towards Sawyer, feeling bad for a second hit. But she was limited on options. @Sawyer Carnahan
Sawyer had been focused more on the quaffle, which had apparently been a mistake when he felt the second bludger hit him. His broom spun this time and Sawyer just held on, eyes screwed shut for a moment until his ears stopped ringing. He held up a hand half to say he was okay, half to say he needed a minute to recover before he got his bearings.
Chloe pushed forward, really wanting to get a hit. She felt a bit anxious about not having any luck so far while her fellow beater was having the most luck. She saw a bludger up ahead and raced towards it, but as she swung her bat, she missed. Badly. She cursed loudly. Hopefully this was the calm before the storm for her, before the game.
Chloe kept searching for bludgers, needing to make a successful hit before the practice was over. Seeing one up ahead, Chloe smacked it with her bat as hard as she could, and felt guilty when it made impact with @Juniper Zumwalt.
Lars was carefully watching the practice, but somehow missed it when a bludger headed his way. He winced when it hit him, but gave Juniper a thumbs up to show her he wasn't mad.
Juniper wasn’t paying enough attention and felt a hit into her shoulder. She had easily forgot people were hitting bludgers at her. Turning away, she gave a soft smile to Chloe. Quickly, there was a another bludger nearby, and Juniper tried going after it. She aimed it towards one of the twins, but it went off and hit @Minnie Calida instead. Maybe she shouldn’t have gone after a bludger so quickly.
Even though he was doing his best to focus, Sawyer had to admit it was rather fascinating to watch the beaters exchange bludgers like that. He just hoped they could hit Hufflepuff as hard they were hitting each other.
Juniper shoulder wasn't feeling too bad after she stretched it out a bit and took another opportunity to hit a bludger as it came towards her. Giving a light swing, it hit her target this time. @Thalia Pourroulis
