Y36 Dueling Match #17

[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.

Out of Character:

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours to post, or face disqualification. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!
As an added note: Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitors post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels.

tobe-mae was ready to start the duel. Of course be went through the courtesies before she attacked as soon as she could with antler jinx. She wished there were more dangerous things she could have done.

Lysander was looking forward to this duel. It was his final hurdle to becoming the champion again, and it was a title he intended to keep, and hopefully have some fun along the way. He bowed to Tobe-Mae, and was surprised by how quickly she reacted. The spell hit him before he could throw up a shield, and his head tilted back, feeling a weight sprout from his hair. He stumbled for a moment, adjusting to the pair of antlers. He chuckled, realising this was what deer must’ve felt like. “Rictusempra!” He shouted back, aiming the tickling charm her way.

Tobe-Mae laughed when she saw the effects of her spell. Perfect! But, Lysander was still up for a fight. Tobe-Mae was barely able to throw up protection in time. She stood confidently. "You don't need a charm to make me laugh at you, Summers!" She taunted and stuck her tongue out at the Gryffindor.

Lysander chuckled as Tobe-Mae's stuck her tongue out at him. "You won't be laughing when I win!" He challenged playfully, and tossed a slug-vomiting curse her way. She wouldn't be able to stick her tongue out at him if she was too busy coughing up slugs.
