Y36 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S2

Nadine flew a quick lap with the quaffle, keeping it close to her. She flew back to the hoops Bijoux was guarding, throwing the quaffle through the middle hoop. She grinned, tossing back her hair.

Simone rolled her eyes but smiled. "Oh whatever!" she called out as Nadine finally made a goal. She grabbed the quaffle again, and started to make her way around the pitch.

Orélie shook her head as Nadine took possession, following her and Simone. A year ago Nadine's boasting would have annoyed her, but now she just clicked her tongue fondly, clapping blandly when Nadine made a goal.

Simone spotted Orelie and decided to let her have the next shot. Hopefully they would all have some better luck now that Nadine broke the streak. "Look alive!" she called out before throwing the quaffle. @Orélie Manuel

Grabbing the quaffle, Orélie grinned, noting with the three them around the hoops Bijoux would probably have a harder time keeping an eye on all of them. She cheered when the tactic worked, offering a high-five to Simone as Bijoux went to get the quaffle. "Let's do it like that for the game," She said brightly.

Mualla kept her eyes on both her seeker and Jacob, making sure that former was fine and still able to do their job.

Jacob didn't have as much luck with the bludgers as he had wanted. But it didn't matter he was enjoying himself and had a great day today.

Still close to the hoops after her shot, Orélie grabbed the quaffle as Bijoux threw it back in, keeping an eye on Simone and Nadine so she could pass as she made her way back around the pitch.

Mualla continued to shadow her seeker, wondering when the bludgers would strike again.

Circling back on the pitch, Orélie flew up by Simone, lobbing the quaffle to her. "Let's try again," She said, sticking with Simone to support her as they flew back towards the pitch, hoping it would confuse Bijoux over whether they would pass again or not. @Simone Moreau-Chen

Simone grabbed the quaffle from Orelie and sped toward the hoops. She wasn't optimistic but she would give it her best effort regardless. And surprisingly she was finally able to get the quaffle through the hoop. She let out a cheer and pumped her fist a little to enthusiastically and wobbled on her broom.

Orélie grinned as Simone was able to make the goal this time, pleased their passing was helping them score more goals. "Keep it up, Bibi," She called to Bijoux, nodding in thanks as she caught the quaffle.

Simone was still pumped about finally making a goal, she also felt revitalized and ready to take on the rest of practice. She followed close behind Orelie as she grabbed the quaffle once it was thrown back in.

"Think we can do it again?" Orélie called to Simone, flying in a quick loop to pass it to her again before they reached the goal. It would be a good trick if they could get the timing down perfectly to throw off the Hogwarts' keeper. @Simone Moreau-Chen

Mualla, shielding the seeker she was defending from the incoming danger, stretched out her arm and gave the bludger a good whack with her bat. She thought she had aimed for Hugo when she hit it, but saw that it went off course and hit @Nadine De Rosier instead.

The practice was going decent, it was also the last one. It wasn't sad or anything, but it was weird. He hoped the last game was going to be against Gryffindor so he could show the other Jacob all that he had learned. He wasn't so sure though since he had also heard they had lost a couple of times.

Orélie heard another crack of a bludger being hit, turning her head instinctively and wincing as she saw it hit Nadine. As much as she loved having pro-active beaters on their team, she wasn't a fan of anyone getting hit in practices.

"I sure hope so!" Simone said with a laugh as she caught the quaffle from Orelie. She sped towards the hoops and did a fake out to the right before throwing it through the center hoop. Bijoux couldn't block it in time and it went right through. She cheered shamelessly, glad that her bad luck streak seemed to be over for now.

Sophia kept up her search, doing a great at avoiding the bludgers so far. She hissed again this time for Nadine after Mualla whacked one of those death balls in her direction. It made the former announcer cautious flying. Sophia gripped firmly on the broomstick flying away from the rest.

Orélie cheered as the pass worked again, beaming at Simone and sending Bijoux a fond look as she caught the quaffle she threw it. It was hard sometimes, balancing encouraging Bijoux and wanting the chasers to score, but in the end either way was a good sign the team was improving. Taking the quaffle Orélie set off to get some more distance again from the hoops.

With all the bludgers that were going off course, Mualla could only hope that she would do better during their match against Hogwarts.

Deciding to change things up, Orélie stuck close to the other chasers, feigning a pass before shooting forward to try scoring instead. She beamed when the feint worked and the quaffle soared through the hopes. If they could keep this up during the game, Hogwarts wouldn't know what hit them.

Still closest to the hoops, Orélie was able to scoop up the quaffle as it was thrown back in, swooping back across the pitch to look for a chance to pass again.

Mualla knew that she had had better days in the past, so why she was having an off day was beyond her.

Taking sometime as she lined up her shot again, Orélie checked around the pitch, seeing how the rest of the team was doing.
