Y36 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S2

Jacob saw the bludger coming towards him, he didn't want the seeker to get hit so Jacob flew in a way that the bludger was going to hit him. When the bludger collided he felt the pain, but he didn't care. The seeker was more important in this game. If you didn't want to get hurt, you shouldn't be a beater. ''Good one'' He screamed.

Orélie laughed as Bijoux blocked Simone's shot again, clicking her tongue as she caught the quaffle again. She was briefly distracted as the beaters exchanged a bludger, wincing as Jacob took a hit from Mualla to defend his seeker. "Good hit, Mualla, nice defense, Jacob," She called.

Jacob was still protecting his seeker after the hit he had taken. Then he spotted a bludger coming his way and he gave it a good wack. Sending it towards the seeker @Mualla Avar was protecting. Something like returning the favor.

Flying closer to the other chasers, Orélie wondered if she might be pushing her luck, but she quickly passed to Simone again. "One more time?" She teased. @Simone Moreau-Chen

Mualla, momentarily distracted by something else, didn't see the bludger coming towards her. As a beater, one would think that you'd get used to the pain of getting hit by one, but that was a lie. She gave Jacob a thumbs-up, letting him know she was fine, even if it did hurt like hell. At least it hadn't hit her seeker.

“I feel like you’re just being cruel now.” Simone whined and grabbed them quaffle again. She tried to fake Bijoux out by dodging left at the last second. But it was no use. “Are you kidding me?” She pouted. “I’m cursed. It’s official!”

Once she pulled herself together Bijoux got in on the action, unable to help laughing as she blocked shot after shot from Simone. "Keep trying!" She called out, lightly taunting her friend. She didn't think she had ever been this on top of her game, and she was eager to keep it going.

The beaters traded a few more blows and Orélie tried to keep an eye out for incoming bludgers. But Bijoux was definitely on her A-game and Orélie was pleased to see her looking happier to be out of the pitch. "Nah, Simone, Bibi's just that good, sorry," She said, catching the quaffle as Bijoux threw it back in.

Rubbing the place where the bludger had collided with her, Mualla made sure to not drop her guard anymore. She hated bludgers but loved to hit them.

Sophia took for the skies after the captains gave their speeches. It was all mushy and emotional. Guess she can appreciate their feely encouragement? The former announcer cheered for her friend for getting captain. "Woot! That's right, my girl did that," Sophia boosted with a big grin on her face. Then she went searching for the snitch, half paying attention to the match, half keeping her eyes and ears open for the little golden orb.

Trying her own luck, Orélie approached the hoops, unsurprised when Bijoux was able to block her shot as well. "Wow Bibi, you're crushing it today."

Simone begrudgingly grabbed the quaffle as Bijoux threw it back. At least Orelie hadn't made it either. She made her way around the pitch keeping her eye out for her fellow chasers to pass, not really wanting to test her luck again.

Jacob was still protecting his seeker and looked around for incoming dangers. He couldn't see anything and he didn't want to leave his seeker alone to go looking for bludgers. So he just stayed alert and close to the seeker.

Mualla saw the bludger coming from a distance and so flew towards it, leaving her seeker's side for a moment. She was pretty sure that she had aimed for Jacob again when she hit it, but saw that it went off and hit @Orélie Manuel instead. ''Sorry,'' she called out to the older girl before flying back to defend her seeker again.

Orélie was following after Simone when she heard the sound of a beater bat connecting with a bludger. She'd been thinking how well the beaters were doing already today when a bludger collided hard with her shoulder, causing Orélie to rock forward hard on her broom. She raised her hand to acknowledge Mualla's apology, not quite able to respond verbally until she caught her breath.

Sophia wince, making a hissing sound following Orélie getting hit with a bulger. The former announcer has yet to feel the full impact of those death balls. Sophia is not looking to feel that wretched pain anytime soon. The seeker dips down, flying lower to resume the search.

Catching her breath and shaking off the ache in her shoulder blades, Orélie carrying on flying, trying to catch back up with Simone and the quaffle.

Mualla continued to look around her for any incoming bludgers. It was a good thing that her seeker hadn't been hit yet but it also meant that it could happen any second now. Her eyes shifted towards Jacob every once in a while to make sure that he wasn't about to attack.

Simone winced as Orélie got knocked by the bludger. Making her less then ideal to pass to. They were close enough to make a shot and while she wasn’t feeling lucky she threw the quaffle anyways and hoped for the best. But of course Bijoux blocked it again.

Orélie grabbed the quaffle after Bijoux blocked Simone's shot again, giving her a sympathetic look. "Good work, Bijoux. Keep trying, Simone," She called encouragingly.

Jacob liked the feeling that came with flying. The weightlessness and the soft breeze through his hair. He looked for bludgers but he couldn't find any and thus he decided to stay close to his seeker

Deciding to give Simone a break, Orélie shot forward towards the goal herself, clicking her tongue when Bijoux blocked her shot as well. "You're so good, Bibi," She said, half impressed, half annoyed.

So far, practice was going well. It was a bit sad how difficult a time Simone was having, but Orélie was right. It just proved Bijoux was a good keeper. Nadine winced as Orélie was hit by a bludger, then grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play. "I'll show you girls how it's done." She teased.

Hugo was trying not to get distracted by what everyone else was doing, but it was interesting. More than once, he had to shake himself as he realized he'd just been watching the chasers or beaters. He had to focus on the snitch.

Simone stuck her tongue out at Nadine in response to her teasing. But she followed close behind regardless, ready for a pass even though her ego could use the break.
