Nadine couldn't help feeling a bit emotional about this practice, as it was likely the final one she would host together with Orélie, and the iinal one she would experience on the Beauxbatons team. Their match against Hogwarts was coming up, and Nadine knew they had to be as prepared as they could be for it. She waited for everyone to arrive, then glanced over at Orélie. They had decided Nadine would kick off practice today, but she still wanted to make sure Orélie had a chance to speak as well if she wanted to. Once everyone had assembled, Nadine took a deep breath. "Alright everyone, I want you all on your best game today. Show us how you'll be when we face off against Hogwarts in the upcoming match." She told them firmly. "Last year, the Hogwarts beaters were aggressive. I want the beaters now to focus on defense, but also on their aim. We might have to play their game and take out some players if we want to win." She told them. "Bijoux will guard the north hoops. Us chasers will try to score there, but also try to pass to each other in between attempts." She herself had been guilty of hogging the quaffle on more than one occasion, and it was a habit she wanted to break. "Seekers.... you know what to do." She gave her cousin a small smile.

"But before we kick off, we have a small announcement." Nadine said, glancing over at Mualla with a smile. "As it is our final year, we have decided to ask Mualla to step up and be your captain starting next year. We are sure she's going to do great." Nadine said with a grin. "And with that, let's go!"

OOCOut of Character:
No arrivals! Just get right into things. Practice will be open until the game.

Orélie couldn't believe this would be their very last practice not only as captains, but as a team. Joining the team had been sort of a fun thing they'd done one a whim as friends, but now Orélie wouldn't have her time at school spent any other way. She'd never felt closer with her BONSquad, especially Nadine, and while things had been rocky, it had been some of the best fun she'd had too. She stood with Nadine, smiling proudly as they went over their battle plan for their upcoming game and also announcing Mualla as their next captain, who Orélie was certain was going to be amazing.

"We want to focus on being aware of each other and the rest of the game, look out for each other and look out for those bludgers and Hogwarts won't stand a chance," She said, resting a hand on Nadine's shoulder as the team got ready to play. "It's been an honour being your captains, and training with you all, let's put in the hard work so Jacob, Nadine, Bijoux, Simone, and I can graduate champions, right?" She said with a grin, giving Nadine a final pat before mounting her own broom and kicking off, not wasting any time taking the quaffle from Nadine with a grin.

Mualla smiled nervously when Nadine told the rest that she'd be the captain of the team next year. While she was excited about the prospect of taking over the team, it also made her very nervous. She had never had so much responsibility before which made her question whether or not she was actually suitable for leading them. Perhaps it would be good to talk about it with either Nadine or Orélie before the left the school. She mounted her broomstick and shot off, tailing one of the Seekers and keeping an eye out for bludgers coming her way.

Jacob entered the pitch and listened to the the captains. The team was going to change a lot, there were five people graduating including him. It was scary, but it meant he could go out with a bang. Jacob grinned and mounted his broom. Staying close to the seeker, which was the most important job in the game. He looked around and didn't see any danger as of yet.

Orélie kept an eye on the team as they got into practice, pleased that the beaters were already well on the defensive. She shot towards the hoops, hoping Bijoux was ready to defend as well.

Nadine wasn't surprised when Orélie stole the quaffle from her, and she zoomed after her co-captain, hoping she'd pass to her or that she'd manage to steal it from her somehow.

Orélie smiled when she spotted Nadine flying with her, briefly wondering if she should pass before deciding she wanted to be a little selfish today. Approaching the hoops, she lobbed the quaffle in a high arc, pleased when it managed to go through near the top of the middle hoop.

Mualla flew circles around her seeker, making sure that they'd be safe from anyone trying to harm them. There's wasn't anything happening at the moment, but she kept her eyes on Jacob too whilst she flew around - he could strike at any moment.

Taking a break again to check on the team as Bijoux threw the quaffle back in, Orélie had to laugh at the beaters in stalemate, carefully guarding their seekers. But she appreciated them being on guard, the bludgers were still lose and ready to strike even without opposing beaters to target them.

After Orélie managed to score, Nadine grabbed the quaffle once it was thrown back into play and flew off with it.

Hugo was glad the beaters were working on protecting the seekers, as he really didn't feel like being hit by any bludgers today. He was looking around everywhere for the snitch, but saw no sign of it yet.

Nadine grabbed the quaffle and Orélie flew with her, keeping up in case she wanted to pass.

Simone let out a whooping cheer for Mualla when Nadine announced she would be taking over next year when they were gone. The thought pulled at something in her but she decided to brush it off for now. They had a job to do with the Hogwarts game coming up and their title to be defended. She her eyes as Orelie stole the quaffle and managed to score, always a show off. But she followed close beside Nadine who had possession now.

Orélie spent a moment jostling with Simone, mostly just for fun. Though it didn't hurt to brush up on their own defensive flying against other chasers either.

Simone grinned as Orelie came up beside her and started to get into her space. It was a good thing to practice, but it was also worth practicing how to get out of those kind of tough spots. So she decided to speed up just enough to snag the quaffle from Nadine and dive away quickly taking a slightly different path towards the goals.

Orélie laughed as Simone shot ahead and nabbed the quaffle from Nadine. So much for their own plan about focusing on passing. But again she supposed it was good to be aggressive too. She gave Nadine a sympathetic look before turning, tailing after Simone instead.

Bijoux almost couldn't believe her final Quidditch match ever was approaching. She had joined the team for purely selfish reasons, and though she was no closer to the goal of finding her sister, she had enjoyed the time far more than she had ever expected. She couldn't help tearing up slightly as she listened to Nadine and Orelie's speeches, overwhelmed with pride and love for her friends. She took off once the practice got going though, distracted enough by her emotions that Orelie's first shot got past her entirely. She tried to pull herself together as the chasers approached again, ready to block the next shot that came.

Mualla took her eyes off of Jacob for a moment, looking around at the other players instead. A lot of them were leaving next year and it was already slightly worrying her. Would the new team be good enough? Focusing back on the task at hand, she resumed defending her seeker to try and keep her mind off of worrying too much about next year.

Simone rounded on the hoops and tried to make a shot but Bijoux swooped in just in time and blocked it. She pouted dramatically and waited for the quaffle to get thrown back into play.

This was going to be Jacob's last Quidditch game for a school team. It felt weird and he was going to try his hardest to make sure they were going to win. There were plenty of first years eager to join the team so he was sure it was going to be all right.

Simone approached the hoops, but Bijoux was in top form, blocking the shot. "Nice one, Bibi," Orélie called, grabbing the quaffle and moving back, keeping an eye open to see if Nadine or Simone were ready to receive a pass.

Mualla was scanning the skies for bludgers to fend off when she saw one coming for her seeker out of the corner of her eye. Turning around quickly, she swung her bat against the iron ball, and with a loud crack send it straight for Jacob and his seeker.
@Jacob Finley

Rounding back towards the hoops, Orélie passed the quaffle to Simone. "Simone, try again!" @Simone Moreau-Chen

Mualla continued to follow her assigned seeker, fending off another bludger but missing her target completely as it went wide.

Simone caught the quaffle from Orélie easily and got ready to make her next shot. But Bijoux was too quick and blocked it again. “Come on!” She whined. “You can’t even let me have one?!”
