Kennedy led the next round of students up the platform and assigned them to opposite ends and then explained the rules. Once they seemed to be in understanding, she stepped off the platform and signaled them to start once they were ready.

Standing on the platform, Charlie didn't know what had possessed her to think this was a good idea. She enjoyed Defense Against the Dark Arts and wanted a better chance to put what she had learned into practice, but doing so in front of people was... definitely not what she would have hoped for. Trying to ignore how on display she was, Charlie kept her focus on her opponent, who she recognised as Mervyn's friend. That made it easier to tune out the crowd. Even if she wasn't directly responsible, anyone who would hang around someone like Mervyn was easier to take her wrath out. Once the match started she moved at once, trying to wrap this up as quickly as possible. "Stupefy!"
