Kennedy led the older students up to the platform, assigning them each to an opposite end, and then explained the rules to them even if they had dueled many times before or not. Once they had been briefed, she stepped down, away from the possible crossfire, and nodded to let them know they were okay to begin when they were ready.

Ryuu squeaked with shock when he felt ropes curl and wrap around his body. His wand dropped and rolled to the floor as the Ravenclaw fell into his bottom with a thud. He huffed but the disappointment and annoyance turned into a smile, knowing that the Slytherin won fair and square.
