Professor Justin Cliffeton was still growing accustomed to his role as the newest Deputy Headmaster of the school, but he had been asked to help set up the Club Fair that they had decided to introduce to the school. Club activity hadn't really been the best over the years, so they thought that this little fair would help bring to light all the interesting things that could come from joining a club, just like the Electives Fair had helped out all of the second years in choosing all of their electives. This Club Fair would hopefully be a step in the right direction, and would help them to bring a larger amount of activity from the clubs.

Smiling, Justin walked around the Great Hall and made sure that everything was going according to plan and that everyone was setting up things correctly. Justin would be walking around throughout the entire fair, helping out anyone who needed help deciding on if something was for them or not. Justin was happy that they were trying something new to try and improve the attraction for clubs. He knew that it was short notice, and a lot of the leaders would probably need help so he was happy to offer that help. He flicked his wand, opening up the doors and he awaited the rest of the school to come and have a look.

A Club Fair. Ellington had to admit that she wouldn't really have expected to deal with something like this. She didn't really like crowds after all and this was the first time she'd be dealing with students the night before a full moon. Still, she was sure that if there was any problem she could talk to the professor. After all, she was pretty sure that all of the professors knew about the students and so she would just be able to let him know if she was feeling any worse than she did now. Carrying a couple of samples with her and a guide to what the Monthly was about and what it expected, Ellington looked around and smiled slightly as she found the professor who was organising all of this. "Hi Professor." She greeted him softly before taking up one of the tables. If Kimmara was here, Ellie would have had her come to this, but at the moment she no longer had a coeditor. She would be thinking about adding someone to help her, but she had a couple of people to choose from so she didn't want to make the decision lightly. She sat down and waited patiently for the students to arrive.

It seemed like the semester was getting into the swing of things, even at this early stage there always seemed like there was something to do. Today was the club fair. Seeing as though she would be spending seven years at this school she might as well make some effort to be social and find a club that suited her interest. Diane walked into the great hall and she scanned the various clubs that had set up stalls. Muggle sports club could be interesting, student defence association, that actually sounded like fun. Then of course there was Hogwarts monthly. Diane had always fancied herself a bit of a writer so that would be a club that would take some serious consideration.

Orwell was ready for this, he had been told and since the point of being told when he had returned to the school Orwell had just been so excited for it, he couldn't wait to start pitching his club to all of the new people or even old people of the school, and though his club wasn't for everyone, the very fact that he had held not just one event but two meant that he had a lot of pictures and a lot of things to talk about. It had taken not long for Orwell to gather up all he would need, finding himself a section of the great hall to set himself up, putting up a wild patch sign, writing in bright colours and with flowers all around it, like an extended flower crowns, also of which he had plenty, just sitting ready for those to take, he had his sign up sheet for any one interested and scattered pictures and information about what wild patch did and their last events, Orwell himself was wearing one of the larger flower crowns on his currently bright green hair, and had a t-shirt he'd made himself that read Wild Patch, he had even brought in a few of the plants in little points which made it really clear what he was about, "Wild Patch club!" he shouted happily leaflets about the club in hand, just waiting for this to all kick off, happy to get into a shouting match with the other clubs currently present, he knew he likely wouldn't win the highest amount of membership won from this event but he felt like he could give everyone a run for their money.

Felix had been chewing on his club membershipa ever since last semester. Up to this point he didn't belong to any club but he may have in no uncertain terms promised Lydia he would officially join the wild patch club and no longer be a straddler at the events. It was would be secret he was joining the club to spend time with Lydia but he had no problems with that. Even if being in the club would lead to trouble he felt it was worth it. Felix made his way over to the Wild patch club stall and smiled at Orwell. "Hi Orwell I'd like to officially join up, just promise you won't get me expelled," He grinned hoping the club leader took the remark as the light hearted comment it was meant to be.

Clubs at Hogwarts had seemed to be very interesting. She had heard people talking about them and her parents had encouraged her to give them a try. She didn't think she would be eligible for any of the clubs but decided that she would go to the club fair anyway. She made her way into the great hall as soon as the doors opened and awkwardly stood in the middle of the hall, trying to decide which club she should head over to. It seemed like people were already signing up for a club that they liked but Charlotte couldn't make up her mind. Each and every club was so very different but none of them seemed like they were for her. Tentatively, she walked over to the deputy headmaster who she had recognised from flying lessons. "Umm..." she began, trying to find the words. She looked up at him. "Is it... Can you... Are you able to help me?" She smiled awkwardly at him, hoping that he was able to tell her what to do. She had wanted to join a club but didn't know where to start so hopefully asking for help was the right thing to do.

Isaiah was vice-president of the Brotherhood club, he had been named the vice in the last year but so far other than pushing the president towards the auction which hadn't been great he hadn't managed too much, but the fair would be a good time to get more people to sign up, and Isaiah had as the vice turned up, with the sign up sheet in hand, and sign for the Brotherhood. He knew that he would only be targeting a section of the HNZ general student population, but he was definitely going to try his best to attract people to come to the club, or hopefully attract people to the clubs. Isaiah gave a small nod to Orwell as he set himself up in an area of the hall unoccupied by others, putting up the sign and then standing with the clipboard, he wasn't sure what to do, unsure what he was suppose to say, unsure of how to pitch the club, he hoped that he might be able to pull an extra member, perhaps two if he was lucky, or even just convince his brothers to join, Isaiah hoped for success.

Orwell was very happy to be doing this, he felt in his element and he smiled when he was approached by a guy he knew from one of the events and also because they shared a house, he smiled broadly and held out the sign up sheet to him, "My good man," he said brightly, grinning happily at him, "I can make no such promises, but we'll definitely be hosting a second LGBT+ event in the second semester, which will be peaceful and will not end with possible expulsion guaranteed," he told him, mostly because Orwell was a little out of ideas as to what they could do, but Orwell felt energized and ready to face this event head on and face the entire year head on.

Veronica walked into the student fair. She wasn't the leader of any clubs, but she did fancy herself actually joining some this year. Admittedly she'd had a lot of fun working with some of the clubs last year, but she'd not actually made a move to join any. This year would be different, instead of focusing only on her music, she wanted to join in some of the groups. Wild Patch was her first stop when she walked into the hall. Orwell was funny and a great guy and so she wanted to make sure that she could help out more with the work this year. She smiled and waved as she walked up to the table. "Hey Orwell! What's up? How was your break?" She asked as she looked down at the sign up sheet another student was currently signing. She'd have to do that herself as well when he was done.

Agrippina was already enamoured by this school. It was so much bigger than her home that she had to admit that she really loved the spaciousness of it all. The school's rooms were all so old and she could almost feel the magic. It was intoxicating. She carried little examples of her natural art as she walked, flowers and sticks all over her as she entered the great hall. She was expecting to find food but was greeted with some kind of fair instead. She blinked and looked around. She didn't really know what this was, but she was going to have to find up. She walked to the first table she saw, Wild Patch Club and looked at the people. "Hello, can someone please tell me what all of this is for?" She asked as some of the flowers fell to the floor. She really did look a bit of a mess.

Archie was eager to see what all the clubs had planned for the upcoming term so he showed up as early he could manage for the club fair. When he walked into the hall his expression brightened up with a wide smile. It looked so interesting and fun though not as interesting as the pride event the WPC had held the previous year. Archie was so happy to learn that Orwell wanted to host another one and he was also happy to be part of it again. He looked towards the Wild Patch section and saw Orwell occupied with a small group of people so he decided not to bother his best friend just yet and instead took a detour to another friend of his. If they could be considered friends that this point. They were certainly acquaintances but Archie did not know if he knew enough about Isaiah to consider him a friend. He approached the Ravenclaw, ignoring the formality of greeting him and cutting directly to the chase as always. "So, the brotherhood. What does it do exactly?" Archie asked. He had heard things about the brotherhood during his years at Hogwarts but never listened closely enough to understand the clubs purpose or anything about it, really.

The first thing that Ares wanted to do at the club fair was find his older brother, give him the biggest hug and also sign up for the brotherhood of magic, he wanted to spend as much time with his brother as he could and he knew that this would be the best way of doing it. Since Ares had not been sorted into the same house as Isaiah, they'd have to spend time together elsewhere. The young Hufflepuff entered the room with Xavier following just behind him, and noted the clubs scattered about the room, and he then spotted his older brother, who stood next to a boy with blue hair, and Ares broke into a small run towards his brother, reaching him, in next to no time and ignoring the other boy to just wrap his arms around Isaiah and hug him in a warm greeting at the same time as Xavier did, which of course was returned by their older brother, "We want to sign up for the brotherhood, obviously, because we're all brothers," he broke away from the hug and looked up at his brother with a huge smile on his face, expecting Isaiah to just sign them up straight away and before the strange boy who was in front of him, almost completely ignoring him.

Orwell was watching Felix sign up to the club and then when he heard Veronica speak he looked up at her with a warm smile, he was definitely thinking that this would be her actually signing up for the club, which he had wanted her to do before, but it just hadn't worked out that way, "Veronica, good to see you," he said to her, "My break was good, went back home which was good, also went on this massive protest, it was amazing," he told her brightly, "How was yours? Are you also finally signing up for the Wild Patch?" He asked her with a smile. The teen was also then distracted by a younger student who greeted them all, and stood at his stall, asking what it was about and really he wasn't sure if she was talking about this whole event or his club, "We're doing a clubs fair, so club leaders are here pitching their clubs to students," he explained to her, "I'm Orwell, leader of the Wild Patch club, we help look after the Hogwarts gardens, and there is also a section of the gardens where we've planted some herbs and vegetables," Orwell told her brightly, with a friendly tone, "We hosted two events last year, a peaceful protest against the forest being forbidden in the first semester, and a LGBT+ pride event in the second semester which I hope to run again this year," he continued, "We also make flower crowns," he added grabbing one of the flower crowns and holding it plus a leaflet out to the girl, hoping she might be interested in that.

Signing up to the brotherhood and spending as much time with Isaiah at the Club fair as he could was the only thing Xavier wanted to accomplish that day. He followed Ares into the hall and looked around, quickly spotting his brother and speeding his walk into a run towards him. In his excitement Xavier captured Isaiah in a suffocating bear hug simultaneously alongside Ares and refused to let go until Isaiah began to struggle for air. Xavier loved his brothers so much that the only goal he had for his seven years in Hogwarts was to spend time with them and he was so excited that there were clubs that meant they could do so. "Brothers in the brotherhood. What could be better!" Xavier exclaimed, paying no mind to the blue haired boy he had probably interrupted. He was just so happy to be with Isaiah and Ares at the same time that he didn't care much about the other people around him.

Isaiah was very surprised to see Archie in front of him, and even more so with the blue hair, he raised a brow questioningly at it, before glancing over at Orwell, whom he was sure was in part responsible for it, "I like the hair," he told him honestly, though odd to him, it was still nice, "The brotherhood occasionally has events but mostly it's just an area for guys to hang out away from girls, which I'm sure you'd enjoy," Isaiah teased lightly, but he was stopped from saying much more, when he was attacked on both sides from hugs, it only took him a moment to realise what it was, and instantly then did he return the hug, really loving the fact his brothers were here with him. He looked between them both as smiled as they explained what they were doing, "Well, here you go," Isaiah handed the sign up sheet to Xavier first along with a pen, "Also, don't be rude guys, this is Archie," he pointed towards the guy in front of him, "Archie these are my brothers, Xavier and Ares," he pointed to each one as he said their names, "Are you going to sign up too Archie?"

"Thanks." Archie replied. "Brock helped me dye it during the holidays. I've always wanted my hair to be blue." He said, chucking slightly when Isaiah explained the brotherhood and said the club was mostly for guys avoiding girls. The Gryffindor certainly wouldn't complain about that, though he wouldn't be joining to avoid girls and joining to spend more time around boys instead. He was about to ask if he could sign up for the sake of it though he was quickly interrupted by what he assumed were two first years as they hugged Isaiah. Archie smiled when Isaiah introduced them as his younger brothers, taking the sign up sheet when it was handed to him. "It's nice to meet you guys." He said as he signed his name. Archie was slightly surprised that Isaiah had brothers and felt slightly awkward meeting any members of Isaiah's family considering their acquaintanceship. But he did his best not to show it as he handed the sign up sheet back to the Ravenclaw prefect and smiled.

For someone who really didn't like clubs, Jean had managed to find himself the member of two of them over the course of his six years. Strolling into the Great Hall, Jean beelined for Orwell. "Hey" he stated as soon as he reached him. "Any new recruits?" he asked, wondering if last year's antics had helped them to gain members. It had cost him half a year on probation, but it was worth it to him. He'd certainly be attending meetings and events this year.

Yuki had heard about the Club Fair, and knew it would be a good way to meet people. She strolled through the Great Hall, the atmosphere exciting her as she looked around at all the Clubs that were around. There seemed to be quite a crowd hanging around a specific group, so Yuki decided to have a look at what was going on. She made it there just in time to hear the boy introduce himself as Orwell, and explained what the Wild Patch Club did. That sounded like the most perfect club! Yuki stepped forward grinning. "Hi, I - I would like to join maybe? I love making flower crowns." She said sweetly.

Ivaylo Zhefarovich-Dolohov truthfully thought that this whole club fair thing was a little stupid. Using a spell to elevate the banner over the table that was supporting the Student’s Defence Association. This would be a good way to promote dueling since the dueling tournament failed last year. He was determined to make it happen. Somehow, he would see the dueling tournament come to live, and then participate in it. As the president, Ivaylo was more determined than anyone. He looked around to see some attention being given to the wild patch, which only made him annoyed. Could people really care about stupid things like the freedom of sexuality movements and flowers over good ol’ competitive sports?

Serenity was looking forward to the whole start of the year, there was so much hype around the school with everyone seeing their friends after the holidays and new first years excited about starting school. Serenity made sure to feed into all the hype as much as she could so she didn't have to think about the fact that this was her last year in Hogwarts New Zealand, she would be too upset if she thought about that. Today's activity that would be taking her mind off eminent graduation was the Club Fair. This was the first one of her time at Hogwarts but sh really hoped that it continued because it seemed like such a cool idea.

Serenity set up her desk for the Heta Omega, hoping to get some new recruits as there were a few people leaving this year and she wanted to be sure that it would stay alive after she left. With fliers in hand she walked out from behind her table and waited for people to come up to her, hoping some current sisters would also join.

Daisy was so excited that there was a Club Fair. She had never had one at her Muggle schools; she had never even been in a club before! But this was a great time to start. The young Gryffindor happily made her way down to the Great Hall, her eyes taking in everything. There were tons of places to go! Daisy had heard of the word 'sorority' before, and her heart beated excitedly at the thought of maybe joining one. It would be awesome to have a place to go, to hang out with her girls, away from boys, which she noticed had their own one as well. Daisy approached the older girl with the fliers, but she would rather not have to read them. "Heta Omega? What's it all about?" Daisy asked with a smile on her face.

Orwell was pretty pleased with how the drive for members was going since he seemed to have the most amount of people around him currently, he had a couple of young students showing some interest and he was just so happy with that. Orwell glanced at Jean as he made his way over to him, Orwell smiled brightly at him, "We have a few, and I'm going to try to keep us all out of trouble this year," he told him, although he still didn't know what they were doing, but he was looking forward to organising it, "No protests, I promise," he told him brightly, just as another first year walked up to them, "Course, and here," he said to her, as he offered her a flower crown as she waited for the sign up sheet to be passed, "We make a lot of flower crowns, so you'll be able to make them to your hearts content," Orwell told her with a bright smile.

Sianna was tentatively standing at the edge of the Great Hall, she wanted to take part in clubs but she couldn't yet spot the only club she was actually interested in but she watched another girl go up to one of the older girls in the room, asking about the Heta Omega, and Sianna wandered over, waiting to hear a response before deciding whether or not to join the club as she waited for the club she wanted to perhaps turn up, she already her camera around her neck waiting, and listening closely to what might be said, Sianna wasn't too interested in the club itself from what she could tell but she was willing to try.

Serenity smiled and had some small talk with people that she knew that passed by her booth, as she waited for some of her sisters or potential sisters came to join her. "Oh hi there!" Serenity exclaimed as someone approached her, asking what Heta was about. To Serenity, it was pretty obvious, but i was something that she never really thought about as it had been a part of her school life for so long at this point. "Well Heta Omega is safe place for us girls of Hogwarts to get away or get together, seek help and advise from our sisters and overall, have fun." she explained simply. "It's also a bonus that it's a place to get away from the boys of the school." she added with a cheeky smile. She knew that a lot of young girls didn't want to be too far away from boys but sometimes it's what some girls really needed and to be surrounded by their sisters. "Are you interested in joining?"
