Hey everybody!
It's a busy time of the year for us all in real life, and it's about to get busy on HNZ as well. So buckle up (for safety) and get ready for a whole lot of information and changes to start coming your way.
Exams
At this point, all exams should be submitted to professors appropriately (including OWLs and NEWTs) unless you've made other arrangements with a professor.
Professors - your grades should be entered into the gradebook as soon as possible, including final grades for your courses.
Graduation
Graduation is officially open prefects and professors are all invited guests - and many other characters have been invited by graduates to attend. If your character is on this list then they're able to post in the graduation forum.
Group Promotions
Everybody's moving up in the world!
Okay, maybe not everybody - just students. Sometime over the weekend, likely Saturday, students will move up to the next year level. Graduating characters will be put in a 'graduates' group temporarily where they will be able to finish up any Hogwarts roleplays before the next year begins. Graduates will automatically be moved to the 'members' group just before Y17 begins (unless you request your character to be moved to another group through the appropriate application).
Holiday Forums
Also over this weekend, holiday forums will open up to all Hogwarts students - so get ready to buy next year's school supplies and have some great holiday roleplays.
Sorting!
All of this means, of course, that sorting will begin soon enough. Look for information about sorting and transfers for Y17 in an upcoming announcement.
That's about it! If you have any questions or concerns, just ask here.
As usual, we'll very likely be hiring new professors over the break as well - so keep your eyes open for those topics, as well.
