[This topic is set at around 3am & She preforms the dance which can be seen in her character in action]

Lily Cliffeton was awoken by the sounds of summer storm brewing. A rumble of thunder and the heavy pitter patter of rain against the walls. Lily open her eyes straight away. The storm was a big one she could tell. It wasn't to far away. A flash of lightening. Lily sat up, she loved storms. They were just amazing. They didn't obey rules, they did exactly what they wanted. They were outstandingly beautiful. The rain, the dark stormy clouds, the flashes of light, that filled for miles around, the rumbles of thunder like a giant's stomach just before it eats. Lily was out her bed before the next rumble of thunder. She walked straight to her wardrobe, she had no clue what time it was. She didn't care. She knew she could just go out in her pj's but she didn't want to be unpresentable to the storm. She knew it was the dead of night, her roommates were fast asleep. Lily quickly picked out the first clothes her hand laid themselves upon. Once dressed, she added a pair of blue heeled shoes. Though on a strange impulse, she reached to the back of her wardrobe and took out her pointe shoes. She hadn't danced in a while. Every so often she'd dance around the dorm room in them. But that was about it. Lily put her long brown hair up into a high ponytail. It had curled slightly as she slept. It had gone into surprisingly neat ringlets. With a small smile. Lily sprinted in the heels, quietly, as another rumble of thunder, filled the air.

Lily walked quietly. Another flash of lightening, brought her to the Great hall. The rain was loudest here. As it hammered against the windows and the thunder roared in the sky above. Another flash of lightening. The whole room was lit up brightly for a mere second and then darkness again. Lily smiled to herself. The four tables of the school were still in the middle of the room. She wanted so badly to dance. But there was no space. Without really thinking, Lily took out her wand. Lily had not once used magic outside the classrooms. But she remembered a spell. The banishing charm. She focused hard and with a flick of her wand, she sent one of the tables right up against the wall. It created a thunderous noise, which played nicely with the roar of thunder which came. The storm was very near. Lily flicked her wand at each table. Sending them all out the way until the hall had a large enough space, for her to dance in. Lily didn't care if she was breaking any rules. This night was just so amazing, that it would be worth it. She walked to one of the tables within the room and sat down. She placed her pointe shoes beside her. And with the soft beat of the rain against the windows she changed her shoes. After doing a few plie's Lily did a small warm up exercise before moving to the centre of the room. She knew that she had no music. Only the sounds of thunder, and the pitter patter of rain. But that had never stopped her before.

After the count of three, Lily began. Strong and powerful. Graceful and poetic. Lily knew that there was no one at hogwarts, who had worked as hard as she had to be this good at dancing. Lily had pushed and pushed herself. And since coming to Hogwarts she had had no time to dance. A flash of lightening lit up the room. It didn't bother Lily at all. It seemed to just swim through her. Making her shine in the light. And then back into the darkness. She was giving it her all. Unsure of the next time she'd be able to dance. Her steps were neat and flawless. For only 11, Lily knew she had found something she'd always be good at. Here, as she danced she was in her best element. The only time, where her smile, was the real smile few saw. Where her talents shone through and she was shown in the kindest of light. Lily was away with the steps. She was wishing upon the storm that it never end. That the world around her just stopped, and let the storm and Lily preform there own magic.

Alex found himself on the dorm's floor when the sound of a crashing thunder noise awoke him. He stood up not sure how he had even managed to fall asleep on the uneven floor without remembering but he didn't bother to think about it. Finding a simple black jumper, he pulled it on as he walked down to the common room. He had intended to just stay there but somehow, his feet didn't seem to respond and keep walking to the stairs and continuing.
Alex let himself relax in a long time, finding the thunder of the storm flush out the bad memories that were haunting him constantly. He closed his eyes as he slipped into the Great Hall silently. His black trackies blended in well with the shadows the door created. As the lighting lit up the hall, Alex was quite glad his face remained hidden due to wall being in the right place. Only his body and his chin could be seen as the lightning disappeared just as suddenly as it came with all it's majestics.
The girl in the middle of the room capture his attention as he stood there transfixed. The girl danced as if the power from the storm surged through her. It was truly magnificent and the way she smiled made it seemed as if she was in a happy dream. Alex felt a fond smile creep onto his face as he watched, his own love for dancing creeping back into his system. He still had his very athletic form but it wasn't due to that anymore unfortunately.

The storm seemed to build up as her steps became more powerful. Lily was almost in sync with the storm. Every crash of thunder, a large leap into the air. Every lightening, a pose, which lingered as the light faded, though she did not. Lily had no intention of stopping. Though strangely, she could feel the eyes of someone upon her. She didn't care who it was. If it were more than one person, or if it was a professor. Lily couldn't stop as she danced. It was really all she had. Dancing, and now magic. Magic. Lily spun round in a tight and flawless pirouette. Her hair, spun round with her head. She could feel energy going through her like electricity. Like the lightening from the storm. Lily closed her eyes slightly. She knew this probably wasn't too wise. But her feet were carrying her, she knew she wouldn't fall. She'd be even more perfect, in the final moments of this dance. All too soon, Lily took the final steps and she finished. Keeping herself in position, as if waiting on applause. But no one was in the hall, or so she thought.

Lily stood up straight, the storm, seemed to settle a little. Though she wanted to dance more. Just keep dancing. Pushing and Pushing herself. Until, she'd have to leave the hall as people were wanting to eat. Dancing was what made Lily, Lily. It was who Lily was more than who Livia was. It was the one thing, Lily knew she could never lie about. Lily could never pretend she wasn't a dancer. She spun round in a circle. And stopped facing the doors to the Great Hall. A flash of lightening lit up the room, and Lily swore she saw someone. Standing, looking towards the centre of the room where Lily stood.

"Hello?" Lily called out to the now dark room, her voice barely louder than the now hammering rain. Not sure if anyone was there, but finding it comforting in checking.

Alex leaned against the stone wall as he watched her dancing grow even more confident. Soon, he had forgotten all about Kiera, his brother and quite a bit more of his messed up life. Suddenly the girl stopped and he frowned slightly but he figured she had been dancing for quite a bit.
Alex saw the flash of lightening before realizing his position had been given away. Walking silently forward into the darkness he sneak behind the girl in the big space before a crooked smile appeared on his face. 'That dancing was quite good.' He spoke softly from behind her before moving more silently closer to her other side. Any sound he did make accidently was drowned by the hammering anyway. 'So was the amount of magic a first year like you used to banish a whole table like that back,' he added, playing with the dark atmosphere. It wasn't like he'd get her in trouble but it was fun to play with first years for a bit before letting them off.

Lily jumped slightly as a voice came from behind. She quickly turned to the boy, who was a lot older than her. He looked as though he was at least in his 7th year. Lily took a step away from him. While raising his eyebrow about his comment about her dancing. She was the best perfect, not just quite good. She wondered what this boy knew about dance, she had to say he was light on his feet but it was raining and any sound was drowned. Lily took another step away from him and stayed silent as he spoke. She wasn't buying it. She wasn't bothered by trouble or being in it. She still hated this school. She wanted to be back in dance school. Lily didn't smile or show any of the emotions she had while dancing.

"Yes, I moved the table, it's not like anyone was using them." Lily said. She looked up as the hall was lit by more thunder. "And I'm better than quite good. And what would a boy of about 17 know about dance?"

Alex smiled. The girl certaintly had attitude. If she stayed in the school any longer he reckoned she'd be in quite a few detentions for some fights. 'No, true. No one was using them.' he agreed. He looked at the tables for a few seconds not seeing any damage though. It would of been easy to fix if there had been anyway.
Looking back at the girl, he shrugged. 'A boy of 17 can know quite a lot of things about dancing if he feels like it,' he replied to her. He felt she had something against him now for complimenting her. Geesh, did she not know that quite good meant great? Obviously he wasn't going to be so forward with it when he just met the girl.

Lily gave a small smile. She did wonder about what this older boy, of 17 knew about dance. She knew how to dance with boys. She valued dancers that were boys. It was a harder task, being a male dancer than a female. Lily took a small step away from the boy, accessing him slightly. He was quite a tall boy. Thin too. In her experience, male dancers tended to be slim. But always strong. Even the young one who were her age. Her brother was strong, but he didn't dance, or dance well. She wondered why this boy wasn't giving her into trouble for being up so late. A clash of thunder roared through the hall.

"Do you dance?" Lily asked.

Alex looked at the great hall's ceiling as another charade of thunder rolled in. It rumbled through his body though he didn't mind. His mind was well enough awake now. If only there was a camera though. The ceiling was magnificent with all the storm clouds that were still brewing and the outline of them from the moon hidden behind.
Turning his head back towards the girl he wondered whether he should say it. What the heck? What would a first year remember about him? She'd probably remember it for maybe a week before it was well forgotten. Alex started walking alongside the table. Knowing his wand was away, he decided he would try his hand at his wandless spells. Thinking very carefully of fire, he used his hand and holding it over one the unlit candles, he voiced the word 'Incendio'. A small spark came from his hand as the candle lit dimly.
'Time goes by fast and with it you grow up fast as well. I used to dance quite a while ago but well, friends come and go and I have to use my own knowledge of dance now if I want to continue,' he answered, letting his fingers go in and out of the flickering flame.

Lily watched the boy carefully as the older boy as he moved to a candle, she wondered what a person would want with an unlit candle. It was unlit, and though she assumed that your learned a spell to create fire for a candle. The boy didn't seem to have a wand. Was wandless magic possible. Now that was cool. She was too young to be able to do it, but the thought of it seemed, more than a little amazing. There was a good point about magic. She looked to the candle as he spoke. She guessed that from what he said, that he had once danced. Lily stood up onto her pointe shoes. And gave a smile to the boy. They were different in height, put Lily had worked with people who were older than her before.

"Let's see what you got. No one's here, so don't be shy." Lily said. "I'm assuming you know how to dance with a girl."

Alex looked at the girl with a raised eyebrow. Was she being serious? He had no idea but he gave a small smile once again. It had been at least 4 years since he had danced, and that was break dancing mostly. Though he couldn't think ballet would be that hard would it.
Well, not as hard as break dancing was at least. He turned his head back to the candle before turning his hand, concentrating hard and making the flame shift in a curve up the way. Dropping the hand, the flame fell as he walked towards the girl.
'Ok. Should be fun.' he agreed as he walked as he started walking to her. He wondered what he should dance but he had no idea what they were all called. He wondered if there was any way he could play a song he was thinking but he didn't really know if he could do that yet. Looking at the chair, he wondered if he transfigure that but he knew he would never be able to do it without tons of trys.
Shrugging he just started dancing with her, not even realizing what he was doing while he was dancing as all the old feelings came to him from the dancing. The feeling was shocking as his nerves cracked as he danced, ending up sitting on the floor slightly out of breath from how good it had felt. Almost like how it was with Kiera but he wouldn't think about that tonight.

Dance? (minus the kissing parts :p)

Lily knew the boy was wary of dancing with her. It wasn't exactly a normal thing to do. She didn't even know anything about the boy. She didn't really care. She didn't want to know anything about the boy. He was just in the same place at the same time as her. Not even sure of what dance to do, the storm just took over as the music to there dance. Without realising what she was dancing she just danced with the boy. It was easy to dance with the boy he was a good dancer. And that made it easier to dance with. She wondered why this boy had decided to dance with her. She was smiling and once more in her element, though dancing with this boy made her dancing, even more perfect. And it seemed to make his too. After the dance was finished, she had a little more pose.

"I underestimated you, and for that I apologize. You are a good dancer" Lily said. "Where did you learn?"

Alex looked at the girl a smile on his face, slightly confused at her question. 'Learn?' he asked before he shrugged. 'An old friend,' he lied, before getting himself up. Patting away some dust from his black trackies, he sighed. He knew it was weird for other people but dancing came naturally to him and he had hardly needed teaching to be honest. Just new moves shown to him and he picked them up quite fast. Like lots of others things, languages especially.
'Thanks for the compliment, though, I did say it'd be fun and it never jinxes,' he added, giving his crooked smile in her direction. 'I forgot how dancing makes someone feel.' Standing tall once more, he walked over to the girl holding a hand out incase she decided she might want a hand standing up. But with her attitude, he highly doubted that would happen.

Lily surprised herself as she nodded in agreement with the boy. Dancing was the best. It was the best feeling she had ever had. Nothing had made lily feel so free and powerful. She felt so courageous. Lily took the hand which he'd held out for her, and with grace stood up. She smiled at him, it was slightly less forced, and more like the smile, Lily very rarely shone. Something about this boy, Lily though she could find a friend in. Strangely. Though she couldn't really let that show. She had no idea who this boy was, or what house. She'd never seen him before, and he was a lot older. And he guessed that he wasn't a Slytherin.

"How dancing makes a person feel is the whole reason I dance. Or one of the main ones." Lily said. " I realize that we haven't introduced ourselves to each other. And unless you don't want to, you don't have to but I'm Livia."

As the girl took his hand he was slightly surprised that she used his help to get up. It didn't seem like what she'd do normally but he was careful not to let it show. Alex nodded, agreeing with the girl as she told him why she danced. He supposed that's why he had danced all those years ago so much. But things took over and made him forget which he now vowed never to forget anymore.
He placed her name into his memory along with her face. It was a nice name if he was being honest, but not one he thought particularly suited her as far as he knew of her. 'Emm, I'm Alex,' he replied, wondering if she already knew him. After all, a lot of people knew the HG was Kiera but he was curious to know how many people actually recognized him as the HB.

Lily nodded. She knew no one by the name of Alex. This was a first. Had she paid any attention at Hogwarts, she'd know that this Alex guy was in fact, the head boy. But alas, no. She didn't know. She knew nothing about him, apart from his name. She doubted they'd ever meet again. He was a lot older than her, and it wasn't normal for older students, to hang out with the little first years. Or Lily expected it so. She wondered what he was doing up. She walked to wear she'd placed her shoes, and while watching the boy, took off her pointe shoes and switched them for her usual shoes. The blue heels.

"It's nice to meet you Alex." Lily said, more convincingly, than most times when she said it. "What are you doing up at this hour?"
