Hinata had sent out the notices to the Wild Patch Club weeks ago when they were finally approved to host the rose deliveries for this semester. Which was great, because otherwise, Hina wouldn't have known what to do with all the roses they grew. It had been a lot of help that Eli had taken it upon himself to help her with every step of the planning and preparation of the event. Now all that everyone had to do was help with making sure all of the roses' thorns had been properly removed, just handing out quills and inkpots and cards for the students to write on, and she was pretty sure some of the members would be acting as deliverers today. She and Eli would be the last to deliver roses for any stragglers later in the afternoon, but for now, they were pretty much parked in the Great Hall assisting with the sorting and handing off to the deliverers. "Arigato gozaimasu!" she called out to the deliverer that just left after she'd handed them a basket of roses. "D-do we need more roses from the Garden? W-we're good for now, r-right?" she asked one of the members helping with organizing and cleaning up the roses before sitting down beside Eli, who seemed not to be making any effort in hiding his annoyance. "So? Did you give in to his request?"

*Thank you!

Eli barely had time to look up at Hina as he sorted through everything he needed to do for today to make sure he had everything right. If someone had told him how much more work this would be on top of everything else he had going on he might have told Hina to buzz off, but he loved his sister, and he was going to try to help her however he could. One thing he did know however was that he absolutely was never doing this again. And he wouldn't have to because Hina was leaving this year. Well, graduating but same thing. "Define give in," he replied to her in English because he was too annoyed with the Gryffindor to let it taint his favourite language. "If you mean did I graciously out of the kindness of my heart agree to send his boyfriend six pink roses? In a bouquet?" He sighed. "Yes." He shook his head and leaned his face against the table. "If one more person asks me to make an exception I'm genuinely concerned I might slap someone." He frowned as he looked around at everything they were doing. "I should have joined the chess club." At least then he wouldn't have had to deal with this. They didn't have a chess club that he was aware of but damn it he could have made one. "And we're good on roses for now, might have to double check after the initial rush."

Ten was nervous about the upcoming rose delivery. Not because of the event itself but because she knew she needed to do something today that could potentially change the course of her remaining time at the school. She was happy to help out with the preparation of roses, trimming the thorns off a number of roses that were still a danger to the younger students that would likely stick it where it ought not belong, the task being second nature to her now with how often she helped out in the greenhouses. As she sat at the table however, she was quiet and by herself. It was usually the case when she was at the Wild Patch events, given there were very few students she interacted with in the first place and even less than attended the event. She also found it to be the time when she could zone out, so here she was, doing what she could, quietly sat at the edge of the group as she wondered how to phrase her question for later in the day.
