Sara was escaping from the world, reading on the great lawn. She was worried about Kate. She wasn't eating, and had been ignoring everyone completely. Sara had needed to get away from it all, so she had come here-to read, to be in a different world, but she found something kept pulling her back. She hadn't been hanging out with her friends for a while, since she had become worried abour KAte. It was time-consuming, trying to help someone who didn't want to be helped. She put down her book, a fantasy from the wheel of time series She pulled out a thin bobbin and tied up her hair, pulling up her socks. She began to run, around the lake-fast. As the blood pumped around her body she could feel it pounding in her ears and knew that all thoughts of reality would soon leave her mind. She felt certain of that fact, but it didn't work. She couldn't seem to forget that her sister, her wonderful, strong sister wasn't okay, that she might not get okay-this was very bad, Kate was starving herself and there was nothing Sara could do. Tears were running down her face, but she just ran faster. She felt terrible, and Sara shouldn't be okay if her sister wasn't. She stopped and punched a tree, blood began pouring down her knuckles. She suddenly began crying uncontrollably sitting down and hugging her legs. Sara was just a kid, she didn't know what to do, and she knew Kate would kill her if she told their parents. She let it all out, hot tears falling down her face and emotion welling up inside her.

Kayden had did what he did most days after classes, escape. He hadn't seen any of his friends lately, not since the birthday party of his that Schyler had thrown and that was back in September. The Weather was starting to get warmer now and so he traveled farther around the Lake then he had all year. The snow was gone and he didn't miss it, he enjoyed life begining again it was being reborn. Like he had been when he got here, his life was started again and everything seemed much better, his sister was happier. But she began to move away from him since that first year, sure breaks when they both went home they saw each other and things were like old times again, but at Hogwarts they were seperated. His sister had Logan, not that he didn't like the boy but Georgiana spent her time with Logan or other friends of her's while had to sit back and watch his sister grow up. Now she was going out for the Quidditch team, he'd never see her.

Looking around he noticed a familar brunette run pass him and go deeper into the woods. The rustling of the woods stopped afterwards and he heard her sobbing through the air. Quickly he picked up his lesuirly pace and found her on the ground crying. He threw himself onto the ground next to her worrided when he saw the blood on the ground near her. "Sara! Sara, what's wrong," he said trying to get a good look at her for injuries.

Sara was trying to stay calm, she took deep breaths. She hadn't been herself lately, but she was still eating, unlike Kate. Stefan had called her a snob, he had said she was selfish, and he was right. She cared too much about herself, he was right-she was only asking him to help her, because she'd run out of options. These things, of course were not true, but Sara felt worthless. she shook her head, trying to blot out their earlier meeting-it had seemed so harsh, a moment before, she had had a small glimmer of hope that everything would be normal again. She heard a voice talking to her, she wiped her eyes. "Oh, Hi Kayden." she smiled meekly, embarrassed that he had caught her crying. She was losing her touch, when she was younger-no one ever found her. "I'm just,, having a bad day." she replied, it was true, but it seemed lately Sara had been having a good few bad days. She stood up and brushed herself down, it seemed she had gotten her shorts and t-shirt covered in leaves and bits of twig when she had sat on the ground. There were twigs in her hair, which she brushed out, untying her hair, to loosen the bracken.

"Sorry about that Red." she said quietly, looking at him under her eyelashes, her cheeks slightly red. "I suppose you know about Stefan.. and Kate?" she asked, surveying her knuckles, it wasn't too bad, as Sara wasn't very strong, there was blood on her knuckles, but she could get some murtlap essence later. She walked over toward the lake and washed off her hands. "I was being stupid." she smiled at Kayden as she returned. "Kate's been having some issues and I'm just not sure how to deal with it." she added, her eyes were still red and she didn't look fine. In truth-she wasn't, but Sara was a good actress, she was used to people believing her when she assured them she was fine, used to keeping it all to herself, but somehow-she felt terrible, keeping things from Kayden-whom she considered one of her closest friends.
