Taylor was still limping slightly as she made her way out of the Gryffindor tower. Her Prefect's badge glistening on her chest. Conan would be waiting for her outside. The nurse had told them that she wasn't to go anywhere alone until she was fully healed. Conan had volunteered to stay with her in all the places he could go, where she wouldn't be with her house mates, like for example on a date to the courtyard. She smiled as she stepped out through the portrait and in to the awaiting embrace of Conan. She smiled up at him and tugged on his hand as she started the climb down the stairs, slower then normal, but at a faster pace then last time. She wasn't in as much pain as last week, so she was much happier now. "We haven't been to the Courtyard in a while, huh Conan?" She asked as she entwined her fingers in his and continued down the flight of stairs, carefully. Ever since Conan's confession, things had been great. She had been happier then she was before and she had seen a change in Conan too. He wasn't as reserved as he was before. She was glad for that at lease. They continued along the stairs and corridors heading for the ground floor. She had to wince every now and then, if she placed her foot wrong, but for the majority, it was like she hadn't even injured her foot at all. That was a good thing though, she didn't mind Conan carrying her in an empty hall, but when the corridors actually had people in them, she was sure she would die of embarrassment.

As they got closer to the Courtyard, Taylor grew nostalgic. She hadn't been here since that time she had told Conan about her parents. He had been amazing then and was even more amazing now. She pulled him closer and pulled his arm around her to rest on her shoulder. He was taller then her by a good few inches and she ducked her head into his shoulder and felt better as a slight weight was lifted from her still sore ankle. She smiled up at him and looked towards the courtyard. She stopped dead. No way. No way in hell! She knew that sound. It was Jeremiah's violin she couldn't see him but she could see someone else and her stomach immediately dropped and her mood darkened. They were almost at the door. Ai would be able to see them now. Taylor looked up at Conan from where she was standing and frowned. "Perfect day. Runied." She muttered, looking back between Ai and Conan. This wasn't going to end well at all.

Conan was in a much happier and calmer mood ever since he had confessed to Taylor. It had been such a surprising turn of events but he had been more contented since then. Today, he and the Gryffindor girl had arranged to have a date to the courtyard and he had to admit that such a simple activity seemed to really excite him. Taylor really does make some sides of him just appear so suddenly. The boy had been waiting outside the Gryffindor tower for Taylor, he had automatically volunteered to be with her every time that a housemate couldn't accompany her, and thus here he was. It didn't take long for Taylor to get out though and he walked to her to support her like he'd been doing since she got injured. The two of them began going down the flight of stairs and walking to the courtyard. The Hufflepuff smiled at the Gryffindor as he nodded. "Yeah, miss the place?" he said as she held her hand as well, supporting her down the stairs multiple times.

The young boy just silently walked with Taylor as he held her hand while they got closer and closer to the courtyard. He could only chuckle though as the Gryffindor pulled him closer along with his arm, but still he let him continue as she wished. He just looked at her, a smile gracing his Asian features as she smiled at him as well. Conan was surprised though when Taylor suddenly stopped. He tried to pick up on what she was sensing and he could only hear a violin nearby. He didn't know who was playing it though and so he decided to focus on Taylor first. He noticed her mood darken and so he followed her gaze and he wished he never saw it. Ai. It wasn't only Taylor's mood that darkened, in fact, his seemed to be more menacing. How dare she not come home? It's her fault Oba-san and Oji-san are furious, he thought to himself. "Want to go back Taylor?" he asked his girlfriend but hesitation was quite evident in his voice. If he were to be asked, he had no intention of going back, he needed to talk to Ai and with her hiding who knew when he'd be able to see her again, but now, he had to think of Taylor first.

Ai had at the very least gotten over the incidents that had occurred in the past year. Over time, she had been crying about it less and less and it was all thanks to all the activities she had gotten. She was now the vice president for the Heta Omega and Hades left her with the responsibility of being the Quidditch Captain for Hufflepuff. Also, Ai had been very happy to be given the title of prefect by Professor Snow. Sure she had gotten into a number of troubles and mishaps in her past four years in Hogwarts but now she had received her Head of House's trust and she was absolutely grateful for that. And then it was added that Jeremiah had also been helping her since last year. She had already told him about the fact that Conan was indeed her brother and he only didn't want to claim her anymore. It had been very painful for the Hufflepuff but still, she was trying her best to hide her pain.

Today though, she had chosen to enjoy the day with her Gryffindor friend at the courtyard. It had been quite a time since she last came to the said place and it was there that Conan had disowned her. It was a bit painful coming to the place but she decided to shove it away for the sake of spending time with a friend. And it sure was worth it as she met up with Jeremiah there, a smile plastered on her face. They had spent time conversing about the time she had spent with his sister along with her telling him that she had already been hiding and avoiding Conan since she arrived at the castle and it wasn't long until they ended up with Miah playing the violin. It was a beautiful melody and the girl couldn't help smiling. But as the boy played the violin played, the Hufflepuff eyes had been wandering and she wished she didn't let it. Pain rushed through her as she saw Conan nearing the entrance of the courtyard. And he wasn't alone. Taylor was with him. Although Ai had changed a bit, her wounds were still far from closing as her blood boiled from just seeing the Gryffindor girl. "Miah," she said as calmly as she possibly could without her voice breaking down but it was slowly failing her. Her heart was clenching in pain at what she was seeing, she wanted to run, but her body was telling her otherwise. "Conan... He's here. You need to get away before he sees you," she said as stood from where they were sat and began to slowly walk her way towards them, her hands balled into fists. She wasn't sure if she wanted to punch Conan for disowning her and choosing Taylor over her, or maybe Taylor for the things she told her at the tower and for Conan choosing the Gryffindor instead.

Jeremiah favoured the courtyard greatly. It was a gentle, sombre place that never failed to soothe him. Although the tall cobbled walls and aged blocks of stone made it seem harsh, it still had the warm air of life breathing through it. There was never a tie when he felt uncomfortable here, and so it was a fine place to spend the day with his Hufflepuff friend, Ai Edogawa. She was closer than most friends he had, simply because she was one of the few that he allowed to meet his family, well, his sister who was not really considered much of a member of the family now - considering her lifestyle. However, Miah still saw Grace as family, and so having Ai spend tie with grace was a foreign feeling for him. Fortunately, he had managed to keep such new from Dante, though silent as the Ravenclaw was, the Gryffindor doubted Dante would wait to tell his parents about everything. He smiled kindly when he saw Ai and gave her a short wave. He had his violin in his hand, as he always did, and after conversing for some time, ended up playing a quiet melody at Ai's request.

Jeremiah rarely messed up a song. He was serious about his music and his violin. Playing it too harshly was irresponsible and dangerous. The strings could snap and cut nearby people. However, seeing Conan and Taylor enter the courtyard when him hit several bad notes to match with the bad turn of events. The violin screeched to a pause and he removed it from his neck. "It seems we have company, Ai," he said, looking over at her. He did not like Ai's brother, and Ai did not like her brother. In fact, with such a terrible personality, Jeremiah doubted anyone liked Ai's brother. Then his eyes registered Taylor and the surprise was very clear on his pale face. Well, obviously he was wrong. It appeared that Taylor managed to ignore that ass of a personality Conan had and liked him. Perhaps he was doing charity work to make the Hufflepuff feel better - even jerks needed friends. He looked scrutinisingly at Ai. "If you think I will leave you here alone with that animal, you are sorely mistaken." Conan had hit him once, and it was a major surprise. Miah had never actually been hit quite like that before, and he was most certainly not going to run away with his tail between his legs at the sight of Conan. That would be ridiculous. This was hopefully going to be civil. He put his violin down and put his hand on Ai's shoulder, she had her fists balled and that would not be a good sign. He was hoping to keep her back and give time for Taylor and Conan to leave, since he doubted Ai would be going anywhere.

Taylor had every intention on leaving. She wanted so badly to leave and go somewhere else. She really, really wanted to leave. For starters, she was not in 100% of her health. She still had her limp and her head wasn't feeling the best, so anything that she would have said to Ai, was not formulating in her thoughts. She didn't want Conan to be here. She had worked so hard to get in him the right frame of mind and she did not want Ai to wreck it. If she stayed she was going too. She looked up at Conan as he spoke and nodded. "Yes, I think that would be for the best." She said, and was just about to turn on the spot, when she heard the word that completely drove her mad. And the most shocking part of it was, that it had not come from Ai, like she would have thought it would. It had come from Jeremiah. She couldn't believe this. She thought Jeremiah was her friend. She had never wanted to fight with Ai. She had never started any of their fights, it was always Ai, but this. She was not just going to stand by and watch as Ai and Jeremiah insulted the only thing in her life right now that was making living with her Aunt and Uncle bearable. She stopped on the spot, halfway between a turn and a step. She knew she should just walk away. She knew she should. She was going too, she had every intention of walking back along the corridor and back up to her common room, ignoring that they were here and flopping down in front of the fire to calm herself down. Unfortunately, that is not what happened and honestly, it probably never was.

Taylor whirled around, her pain in her ankle searing up her leg again, causing her to stumble forward, but she ignored it. "What. Did. You. Just. Say?!" She asked loudly, through clenched teeth, even though she had heard perfectly, what had been said. She stalked into the courtyard, ignoring Ai like she wasn't even there and stood extremely close to Jeremiah. "How dare you say such things. How dare you even presume to call Conan something like that and then expect me not to do anything." She told him and a scary low voice. She had never experienced this side of her. All the anger and hurt over what happened with her parents was just spilling out of her like blood loss laced with acid and Jeremiah was in its path. "You think that Conan is the animal?" She asked him, stepping towards him at every instance that he stepped back, trying to distance himself from her. "You don't know that f*cking half of it! Conan was there for me when no-one else was. It was Ai, who started that fight in the Owlery, the fight on the grounds and every other instance between us! You have no idea what your even talking about. You just don't care. As long as you are out of the fray. You just let them go!" She yelled, tears beginning to well in her eyes. "I have tried and tried at every confrontation to get Ai to realise how sorry I am. Do you even know how this started between us Jeremiah!? Do you!? Did she even tell you what happened?!" Taylor had never experienced anger such as this before and now that she had started, she wasn't entirely sure that she could stop. "I said hi. That was it. I said hi. But because Ai was such a spoiled b*tch with a creepy incestuous brother complex, she jumped down my throat!" She realised what she had said, but she didn't care. It was time to lay all the cards on the table this time.

Conan just nodded at his girlfriend's decision. He respected her decisions like she accepted his, and this time he had to agree that for now it would be best to just leave. Taylor was still injured and he didn't need Ai to butt in their lives with the Gryffindor around. She had just been better like he had and the last thing he needed was Ai going crazy, verbal and violent at the two of them. The Hufflepuff held Taylor's hand and was already prepared to go ahead and turn back, maybe to search for some other places they could go around the castle. Well, at least that was until he heard a familiar voice. It had been so sudden for him that Taylor had suddenly left him and when he followed her, he was surprised and at the same time furious at whom his girlfriend was having an argument with. Jeremiah Raven.

Conan least expected Ai to be with Jeremiah and so he just presumed that it had been one of her friends since it had been going around that she was already making friends instead of ripping others' heads off. But now, here his disowned sister was, along with a boy he hated. It shocked him though that Taylor seemed to be the one ripping the Gryffindor boy's head off. He slightly smirked at this, quite enjoying the show, but he knew he had to at least do something to calm his girlfriend down. And so, he could only go near the Gryffindor girl and hug her from behind, holding her at the waist. "Hey... Come on. That's enough," he told her trying to be as calm as he could. He didn't want to be anywhere near Jeremiah and Ai at the same time. He was already boiling in rage with his twin around, and now that Jeremiah was in the picture he was just keeping that string of calmness from breaking down in front of Taylor. "I think these two girls have had enough," he said as he at the very least tried to take Taylor away from what he thinks was going to be a bloodbath in a matter of moments.

Ai had heard Miah and she really wasn't that surprised either. She knew that he wasn't one to run despite being unprepared for fights such as the one that's about to happen. But she also knew that with Conan involved, Miah wouldn't just leave her alone especially after the last incident between the three of them. With the Gryffindor boy's hand on her shoulder, Ai stopped walking but her fists remained as it was, ready to strike anytime her control breaks. Yes, she already had control even for a bit because she had changed. Her years in Hogwarts had changed her slowly, she rarely got into fights anymore and aside from that she easily breaks down after encounters with Conan. Although, this turn of events rarely surprised her anymore, but Taylor completely ignoring her and walking up to Jeremiah like she's going to rip his head off was a completely different set of circumstance. It took her quite a while to keep up with the sudden turn of events and Taylor was already closing the distance that Miah was trying to lengthen. The Hufflepuff could no longer stand it. "Stop it, Blare! Get away from him!" the girl shouted as she tried to push the Gryffindor girl away from her friend.

Ai wasn't going to back down from this. If Taylor wants to spat things, then the Hufflepuff wouldn't do any different. Although it was true that it was the Hufflepuff that started every fight, it was because whenever she would see Taylor she'd always be reminded that her brother chose the Gryffindor. "You're not any different, are you?!" Ai screamed as Taylor was shouting at her friend. "How about you? Do you f*cking know what he does when you're not around?!" the Japanese retorted. Conan wouldn't be one to tell everything was what she knew about the Hufflepuff boy ever since they've been together and it was because there were times that the boy cared about his image as well. "Conan was the one who threatened our friend! He was the one who broke my bone! He's even the one who tried to wreck Miah's face!" she told Blare in any way but calmly. Ai didn't want to talk about those events anymore. Ryuuji had already graduated and she wasn't entirely sure if she'd be able to handle not breaking apart in the span of even one semester. "Think he's the little angel?! Well, f*cking think again!" she screamed, trying to keep her voice, but was slowly faltering thanks to her sudden outburst as tears were already beginning to form.

Ai had began to laugh at Taylor's statement as she was already trying to keep her tears at bay. Apology? It didn't keep her from being disowned and it didn't get her away from Liam's tortures. It meant almost nothing in the eyes of the present Hufflepuff girl. "Apologizing doesn't give me a family, Blare," the girl said, her words seemingly laced with venom. She had tried apologizing to her aunts back then, but did they accept her? No. "Sorry doesn't get me back my brother, does it?!" Ai's voice was already trying to rise once again. "Did your apology make me repair my bones?!" the young girl didn't want these situations to be exposed but the Gryffindor girl was just making this harder and she just can't stop herself anymore. Ai didn't care anymore if what she said was not connected to the whole argument. "Did your apology save my friends from him?! It didn't!" she screamed as she remembered every single time that she disregarded the chance of making up with Conan in exchange for the safety of her friends. And now, Ai didn't even care if Miah didn't know the beginning of this whole feud at first, but now, he was about to know. "And no, I didn't tell him. Know why? Cause he has his own problems with him!" the Hufflepuff said as she pointed her finger at the Hufflepuff boy who was now flirting with the Gryffindor girl. "Did you even know why I was like that?! Know the whole story?! NO! Did he even care enough to tell you EVERY. SINGLE. THING?!" was the last thing Ai could say as she was already on the verge of breaking down. No. Not here, she thought as she could only take deep breaths.

It seemed that Taylor was not doing charity work. She had stooped so low as to be in a relationship with that horrible boy. Jeremiah at the best of times did not like being near Taylor. He was not friendly enough with her to want to stand too closely to her. Now she was invading his space and he soon found himself with precious little space to move to. He felt like a chessboard king in checkmate. He had ran out of moves. He was no-longer sure of where Ai was, all he could see was Taylor's face far too close to his for comfort. She asked a question, so Jeremiah answered. "I believe I called Conan an animal, that is what has made you upset, yes?" It seemed it had. "Then I apologise. I had not realised that you were involved with him. I thought you were with him out of pity, not out of appreciation of him as a human being." Taylor then seemed to loose herself in some extreme display of volatile emotion. Upon learning from his previous mistake of answering her questions, he remained silent for her second - possible rhetorical question. It was hard to tell. "Taylor, need I point out that it is now you starting a confrontation? I expressed an opinion, something I am well wihin my right to do. You're now stating that I have no idea what I'm talking about, which gives me the appearance of ignorance. I'm upset hurt by that - but I'm not screaming like a banshee in your face. Look at your own actions before you try to diagnose mine."

Conan appeared, his arms around Taylor's waist. Jeremiah stopped himself from rolling his eyes. They could both take a few steps from him now. However, he quickly looked at Ai when she too began yelling. This was getting very messy. "Ai, please-" It was no use, Ai was incredibly angry. He sighed inwardly as another verbal assault was launched by Ai. At this rate the glass windows were going to shatter. Miah felt a tingling sensation in his cheek at the memory of Conan punching him in the face. It had hurt and was most certainly not a pleasant memory. They had been fortunate to leave the situation before anything escalated. The language being thrown between those two was making Jeremiah's eyebrows stand quite high. "You need to both calm down-" he was once spoken over the top of. He sighed inwardly. "That is enough!" He yelled, looking between Taylor and Ai. "There is no need for the language, or the yelling. We are all capable of talking about our problem. There is no need for this fighting - nothing will come of it." He was now looking directly at Ai and tugged her by the arm closer to him and further from Taylor and Conan. "Ai, try to calm yourself. Take some deep breaths." Hopefully he could still save this before it all completely derailed. He did not care what happened - but he did not want this to be a fight.

Taylor felt Conan's arms around her and she leaned into him slightly but it wasn't enough to stop her on her crusade. She had been ignoring Ai the entire time. She had been solely focusing on Jeremiah, but at the sound of Ai's banshee like voice she stopped dead in her tracks and whirled to face Ai. Tearing Conan's arms away from her. She only took a second to hope she hadn't accidently hurt him or scratched him before she glared at Ai. Her eyes darking from their usual grey-blue to close to black. She was so mad she wasn't even thinking straight. She flicked her eyes to Jeremiah and sneered slightly at his comment about yelling and fighting. Oh this wasn't even close to finished. Deep down, she knew what Ai said was true, but she refused to believe it. She refused to listen to a girl who from day one, had made Taylor feel like she had no right to talk to her. Conan had done everything in his power to apologise to Taylor for Ai's behaviour, but Ai was just so adamant that Taylor should not set foot in their presence. It had ground away at Taylor's emotions until eventually she had just snapped. She couldn't stand it any longer and it had been at that instant that Taylor had made it a point to pretend that Ai no longer existed. Which, evidently was extremely difficult to do, when said non-existence was standing before her, an almost smug look on her face. Taylor just lost it. She took one painful step forward after another, moving towards Ai with more speed then she would have ever though possible in her present condition and brought her hand down across Ai's cheek with a resounding 'thwack', that travelled back up trough her hand and all the way to her brain.

It was in that moment that Taylor realised what she had done. She went white as she sheet and stumbled backwards, landing awkwardly on her already weakened ankle and went tumbling to the floor in a heap. Her hands went to her mouth. The pain in her ankle, a back thought in her mind. A multitude of emotions raced through her as she looked between her red hand and Ai's quickly reddening cheek. She had hit Ai. She had actually hit Ai. She had promised herself that she would never hit Ai. That it would never make things better, that it would make things worse and she had hit Ai. The tears that had been threatening to break free of their enclosure behind her eyes, suddenly came spilling out, down her cheeks and over her hand. She had hit Ai. Now there was never any going back. Never.

Conan was now frowning at whom he used to acknowledge his sister, but now, he just couldn't understand if the girl in front of her really was his sister. Right now, he wasn't thinking straight and he isn't even noticing it. Because at the moment, he was glad that he disowned Ai. He was glad that he didn't treat her as family anymore, because right now, he might bee in the place of the poor Gryffindor boy who looks like he's really having a hard time with the Hufflepuff girl. But he was totally not pleased with how the boy named Jeremiah Raven was treating his girlfriend right now. "You better shut that trap of yours or you'll regret it Raven," Conan said his voice menacing as he was threatening the Gryffindor to cut his argument with Taylor.

"No need for the yelling yet your also one with a raised voice," Conan said calmly although the retort was most probably easily noticed. "And you better shut your mouth and cut your acting Ai," he said as he glared at the Hufflepuff girl and anyone could tell that he was already in rage. This was far from over, he could tell especially when Taylor teared his arms off of her. She was mad, and Conan had no intention of stopping her rage from flowing out of her being. He just continued to watch the Gryffindor girl and was completely shocked when Taylor had slapped Ai. Any normal brother would have freaked, but Conan was far from normal for all he could say was, "That has got to hurt," since he no longer cared about the Hufflepuff in front of him. He watched the exchange and was quickly at Taylor's side when she fell. He just watched her with a worried face and when she began to cry, he hugged her and glared at the two beings in front of him. Oh, this was far from over he was going to make sure of that.

Ai didn't know what to do. She had been trying to change herself ever since the fight started. Slowly, she was beginning to succeed. Without her noticing, she had been able to make friends, apologize to people, and not be so dependent. It was all to make up with Conan, so that she won't hold him back anymore. But now, it seemed that there was no hope for their relationship. At one point, she even began to think that she had become so weak. Ryuuji knew that she was fragile before, but now, she was even more so. Her chest hurt and tears easily well up on her eyes and she already had no idea on what to do. Anytime she could break down, but she didn't want it to happen here. Not in front of Taylor or Jeremiah. And not in front of Conan. But now, she didn't know if she could handle not losing herself completely without Ryuuji to be there for her. As she knew now, she was on her own.

"I'm sorry, Miah," she said slightly above a whisper, her voice slowly breaking down as she tried to keep herself from breaking down. The Hufflepuff eyes widened at Conan's words. Acting? Why would I fake something like this? she thought to herself. Did her brother think of her that badly? How did they come to this? What surprised Ai the most though was the sudden sting in her cheek that caused her head to turn to the side. She couldn't move. She couldn't speak. She knew that it was Taylor who slapped her yet she had nothing to say. Her cheek was stinging and she knew that it was already turning red. She remained silent. What was she supposed to do? "I want to kill you right now, you know that?" Ai said her body remained still except for her lips. She knew that she wasn't supposed to say a thing like that but she couldn't help it. Right now she just wanted to kill Taylor Blare for suddenly breaking down and making her look like the really, really evil person there.

Jeremiah sighed at Conan's lack of understand of social ques. He was an animal, after all, so Miah tried not to reprimand him too much. "Conan, I raised my voice for attention purposes. There is a distinct difference between screaming and attempting to call order." He then glanced at Ai as she apologised to him. She didn't need to do that, but it was appreciated, and he gave her a reassuring smile, before turning back to Conan. "Whether you dislike your sister or not is irrelevant, Conan. But you should at least treat her with the respect she deserves-" he cut himself off when Taylor actually slapped Ai. He had not been expecting that. Ai seemed to make no movements, while Conan just snarked off as he always did. Dear Merlin, calling Conan an animal was a compliment. Jeremiah moved towards Ai - since Conan had seemingly decided that Taylor was more important than his own flesh and blood. Jeremiah did not know their raising, but his family did not have petty fights and pick non-blood relations over family, unless they had been kicked out for some reason, and even then. Family ties were strong and not taken lightly. "Are you okay, Ai?" He would have touched her cheek, but it was going a nasty shade of red and he thought better. "Do you want to go to the hospital wing?" He decided to take the time during Ai's response to see what Conan and Taylor were doing, just in case they were going to try and hit either one of them again.

Confusion? No, that was not the emotion running through Jeremiah's brain. He was befuddled, baffled, bemused, perplexed, confounded. There were not enough words in the English language to describe the level of confusion he had just hit. Taylor hit Ai, Taylor broke down like someone straight out of St Mungos... and he and Ai were the bad guys? There was no scenario where that made any sort of sense. He could not fathom how Conan could possibly be glaring at Ai and himself because Taylor was sobbing like a two year old on the ground that had just had her lolly taken from her by an older sibling. He understood that Taylor had been under a lot of stress and she was obviously emotionally unstable - but falling to the ground in such a way seemed rather out-of-character for her. Usually she was the more self-righteous sort and he would not have expected her to play others in such a way as she seemed to be. Then again, he had expected her to Conan every bit as obnoxious and repulsive as he was, but she seemed quite fond of him. "I suppose this is mine and Ai's fault. I apologise for the both of us, then. Obviously you two are both completely innocent in this exchange." Sarcasm was also dripping from his words as he spat them. Taylor was redeemable, but Conan was more repulsive than the dirt on the sole of his shoes. He looked back at Ai and tugged on her arm gently. "We should leave, Ai. Before you do something you will regret - possibly for the rest of your life."

Taylor felt nothing. She did not feel a damn thing. All she was able to do right now was watch on in a sort of strange detachment. Why had she hit Ai. She knew that she was crying, she could feel it on her face, but they were silent tears, the kind that made you look like you were either faking or insane. She wasn't sure which one she was, but she felt horrible. She had not honestly wanted to hit Ai. She had just gotten so mad, she'd lost it. She felt Conan's arms around her, but she ignored him, she knew he would pick her, she guessed deep down she was happy about that, but as she watched the look on Ai's face she could see how much this was hurting her. She could see it all. Finally it hit her. She was jealous. How had Taylor not seen this before. Ai and Conan, they were twins, they had been together their entire lives, they knew everything about one another, they needed to be near each other, these were the kinds of feelings she always imagined she would feel for her own sibling. It was intensified though, because they were twins. "Twins..." She whispered, looking from her hand, to Ai and then turning to look at Conan. There had to be something she could do to fix this. Her ankle was still incredibly sore and she moved it around to sit underneath her, wincing as she applied pressure to stand, with the help of Conan, and stumbled to her feet. How could she have been so stupid as to not see this earlier. Ai was jealous as well she should have been. Taylor really didn't hate Ai, she had wanted to be her friend for such a long time. She had just been going about it the wrong way.

Taylor looked at Ai, she could see the swell of emotions in the other prefects eyes. She immediately felt guilty, even though the majority of all of this was Ai's fault, regardless, Ai had acted on her own confusion, fear and jealousy. Something Taylor could relate to. She turned to look at Conan and entwined her fingers with her own. She looked him in the eyes, holding his gaze. What she had to say was serious. "Conan..." She started, wondering how she should continue. "Do you care for me?" She asked making her voice as steady as she could, whilst the tears still fell. "Do you trust me?" She hoped, that at least for the next few minutes, Ai and Jeremiah would stay completely silent.

Conan can only stay silent for the moment, but deep down, he just wanted to beat the cr@p out of someone, preferably Jeremiah Raven after his oh-so words of wisdom. "I'm giving it to her aren't I?" he said snickering at the Gryffindor whilst holding Taylor in his arms. He was practically ignoring Ai after the incident with Ryuuji. The incident with Jeremiah just made Conan not care anymore about the Hufflepuff prefect and not going home to Japan was the last straw for the Hufflepuff boy. Ai was not his sister anymore. "You okay?" Conan asked soon enough as he realized that Taylor was slowly calming down and was even surprised that she was now trying to stand. Conan sighed at this and could only help her with her task. "Careful now," the Hufflepuff boy said as Taylor stumbled to her feet.

Conan was completely ignoring Ai right now. For him, she no longer existed. And so her words fell to deaf ears. All the Hufflepuff boy could focus on at the moment at was his girlfriend. She was acting differently from how she normally is and it's making him worried. Especially how serious she was. He kept his fingers entwined with hers as she just kept his gaze on him and he only did the same. "Yeah, I do," he said as sincerely as he possibly could. He does trust her and he cares for her a lot thus his answer at the moment. "What's wrong, Taylor?" he asked, a serious, worried and confused expression plastered on his Asian features.

Ai felt weak and helpless. She could only think to herself if she was really undeserving of happiness. It was just a few minutes ago that she was having fun just spending time with Miah. She only had those few moments of forgetting her problems and just be the carefree teenager she wanted to be. Only in those moments did she forget that her only family had disowned her, her closest friend had to leave and apparently, some of her friends except Miah were nowhere to be found. But, an arrival just had to ruin her few moments of pure happiness. And what was going on now? She was about to break down and barely keeping herself from doing so. She had been slapped and had been watching her brother choose the Gryffindor girl. For her, it would have probably been better if Conan never chose between them.

Miah's question almost fell into deaf ears but despite the pain she was feeling both physically and emotionally, she wasn't that rude to someone who had been helping her. "Y-yeah," she whispered although the tears she was trying to hold back along with her red cheek was probably giving her away and she could only shake her head at his offer to head to the hospital wing. As Jeremiah apologized sarcastically to the two, Ai had no idea on how to react but decided to keep her mouth shut but as the Gryffindor boy tugged at her arm, but Ai only held at his arm to stop him, she wasn't ready to leave yet, but as she saw the exchange between Conan and Taylor she could only nod slightly and stumble on her feet, like all her strength was disappearing. She didn't want to see any more than she already had and she could only hope that Miah would be able to take her away quickly before she does something nasty and violent.

Conan was such a jerk. There was nothing Jeremiah wanted more than to slam his violin case into the Hufflepuff's twisted face with all the force he could muster. However, his violin case was sitting on the bench - which he was no-where near thanks to Taylor getting all up in his face. He could call for it, but Conan would see that coming and prepare himself. So, Jeremiah was left without the golden opportunity to wipe that look off his face. It was nearly tear-worthy. "You are giving her nothing you-" he attempted to stop himself, but had only managed to switch languages. "-patetico spreco di spazio." Merlin he loathed the boy. He really did. How poor Ai could be related to such a thing was something he could not fathom. In fact, how Taylor could stand to be near him and not be sick was also something Jeremiah could not understand. The urge to Accio his violin case was getting stronger, but he was not going to start a physical confrontation with this boy. And the further this situation developed, Taylor just seemed to be losing it. He was actually concerned for her mental wellbeing. Firstly, she appeared to be dating Conan without the need to throw up regularly, and now she was simply acting strangely. Perhaps it was her that needed to go to the hospital wing.

Jeremiah frowned sightly at Ai's answer. He had asked a generic question and expected that answer, but that did not mean he was just going to settle for it. "Ai, we need to go." This was already stressful on everyone, especially both girls. Especially Taylor - who was really concerning him. However, he also cared about Ai. She deserved far better than this. She was even crying because Conan was such a pathetic brother. The Gryffindor couldn't understand how Conan could be such a despicable brother to his sister. Now the situation was a little different, for he knew if he remained in that terrible boy's presence he would do something he would regret. Everyone needed space - that much he could realise. He whipped out of his and flourished it. "Accio violin case." he linked his arm with Ai's supportively. If she were going to fall or something, he was now in the position to stop her from doing so. "We should find somewhere else." He then nodded to Taylor, and sneered at Conan. It was time to get out of here.
