Graeme and Abby had talked a lot about how to tell Zerrin and Fraser about the new baby. They had waited until they were in the second semester, when it was a little safer and they would be struggling to hide it a little more. He was a little worried, he didn't think that Fraser would have much issue and Zerrin had expressed that it would cool but he knew that there was a difference between thinking something and it actually being true. He walked out of the home, glancing towards the boys on their brooms next to the house. "Boys! Come in, your mother and I wanted to talk to you both," they had little cups of hot chocolate and fresh cookies for them, so that would hopefully let it go over smoothly. He walked back to Abby and smiled at her, she was beautiful in so many ways but this latest development had brought so much exhaustion and he knew it would make it easier when they weren't lying to the kids about it. "We're t-minus five second before those boy come stomping in,"

Abby had done her best to try and hide the pregnancy from the boys, and from Graemes mother, but it was getting harder as she started to feel sicker. She was definitely starting to show, and she'd played it off at first as the new cuisine she and Zerrin were growing more accustomed to, and her lack of work, but she knew she couldn't keep that up for much longer, especially with how little she ate. She felt nervous about how the boys would react, and sat on a stool by the counter, twisting the long sleeves of her sweater and looking to Graeme as he walked back in. She swallowed hard and held out a hand, hoping having him close might help settle her nerves.

Graeme could see Abby reaching out, and took her hand, pulling her in close. He wrapped his arms around her and just smiled. "it's gonna be just fine, the boys will be happy and then you don't have to worry about hiding from them," he told her with a little smile. He hoped that the boys would react well, but he couldn't imagine them not, they were good kids, and he was sure they'd both be eager and excited for have a little brother or sister. And it would help that they had each other, Fraser wasn't far off from going to school just a little after Zerrin, so they would be able to still grow and have fun without having to feel left out because of the baby. But he held Abby close knowing she just needed the simple comfort of his touch.

Abby leaned into Graeme, sighing softly and shutting her eyes. She hoped he was right. She pressed her face against his shoulder, a shiver running up her spine. "Can you pick up a few more potions tomorrow?" She asked, pressing a hand over her belly. "And another bottle of hot sauce please, I've found the only thing baby will let me eat without twisting my stomach into knots is pork pot stickers with hot sauce. But only the one brand of hot sauce," She looked up at him, giving him her best pout.

Graeme wrapped his arms around her, running a hand up and down her back. He nodded softly, he'd get her anything and all she needed. "Of course sweetheart," he replied. He knew that this was proving tricky for her, but they were going to be very happy, they were going to get through this, the kids would be happy, the baby would be healthy, and he would make sure to be there for Abby in every way he could be. "I'll buy lots of it, buy some in bulk," he said. "Do you need anything else?"

Zerrin was having a great time, out flying with Fraser. They weren't too far off of the ground, but they'd made up their own game of tag- pretty much just tag on brooms, but it was a blast. He was chasing Fraser when he heard their dad yell out for them. He slowed down, sitting up and looking over. "Coming!" He yelled back, pushing his hair out of his face before lowering down. "Come on, lets put the brooms up first," He told Fraser, running over to put his broom up in the shed before racing his brother inside. He let Fraser win, laughing breathlessly as he jogged inside. "We're here! What's up?" He asked, crawling up into a chair and turning to look at his parents. "Is everything okay?"

Fraser loved having Zerrin around, having both him and Abby was amazing. He and his dad had always been close but they had been on the road a lot, and it was nice to have people around him who were his age. he was definitely going to miss Zerrin when he went to school, but there would still be Abby and he loved Abby. He got down from his broom when his dad told them to and then nodded in agreement to putting his broom away. He then followed him inside, running as fast as he could but not being faster than Zerrin until just that last moment. He was celebrating his wait as he went inside. Sitting down next to Zerrin, he looked at his parents impatiently. He wanted to go have fun again.

Abby smiled warmly up at Graeme. "Lots of affection?" She teased him. Before she could say anything else the boys had run inside and she turned to them, nervously. She took a deep breath, sitting up straighter. "Boys, um- um- well, you know we love you both, very much," She stammered, wringing her hands together. She felt flushed, nervous, and she looked up to Graeme with wide eyes.

Graeme gave a little smile, "You'll be drowning in it," he told her. He watched the boys come in and was at least glad they weren't bringing in a whole lot of mud, but he couldn't help but smile fondly at his sons, knowing they would be growing as a family. "Yeah, and nothing will ever change how much we love you both," he continued as Abby seemed to falter. He reached and placed a hand on her stomach where the baby was growing. "Your mum is pregnant," he didn't want to say we because he wasn't doing the hard work, and she was suffering a lot because of it. "In about six months you'll both have a little brother or sister,"

Zerrins brow furrowed as he took in how flustered his mother was. He waited for them to pull themselves together, to tell them what was going on, though he itched to slip out of his chair and go to his mother. His eyes turned to Graeme as he spoke. When the big news was revealed, his eyes went wide. Zerrin's jaw dropped, and he sat there, stunned. He opened and shut his mouth a few times, frozen in surprise.

Fraser could not believe it as his father said it. He glanced towards Zerrin who seemed equally as shocked but Fraser was also recovering quickly. He rushed over to Abby as she was stood with his dad and hugged her tightly. "I'm gonna be the best big brother ever! After Zerrin of course," Fraser added the last part as he pulled away and placed his hand on top of his dad's hand. He was so excited at the prospect of being able to be a big brother, so happy that his dad and Abby were going to be together forever! "Can we buy them a kids quidditch broom?"

Abby watched Zerrin intently, biting her lip. She was startled when Fraser hugged her, automatically placing her hands against his back and rubbing it gently. "Of course you will, sweetie," She bit her lip as both Graeme and Fraser had a hand on her stomach, looking to her son. "Zerry?" She asked softly, worried. She didn't know quite what to say, and glanced up at Graeme, nervous.

Graeme wasn't too surprised that Fraser's reaction was a very very excited one. He was happy he seemed so happy about it. It was some relief to him that his son would be excited for another child. But it seemed that where Fraser had been excited, it seemed Zerrin was a bit more reseved. He was sure it was making Abby nervous and then he looked towards her to see exactly that. "Son?" he asked, "This won't change anything, I promise you that," he said.

Zerrin had been frozen in shock, but shook his head quickly when his father spoke, snapping him out of his stupor. He was out of his seat in an instant, rushing over to join the others. He smacked into his mother, hugging her tightly. He put his hand with everyone elses, smiling almost shyly. "We're having a baby," He whispered, smiling happily before burying his face in his mothers side.
