Updated Rules / New Site Documentation

Hello all,

Over the past few days Cecily and I went through and updated a few things that needed fixing in the site rules as well as inputting a new piece of site documentation. Here is an outline of the changes made:
[ol][li]Site rating - As ZB requires members to be 13 years old before registering, and with the removal of the PG-13 discussion area, all discussions on the board are now allowed to be "PG-13".</LI>
[li]Role Plays (What is and isn't allowed) - To go along with the former, role play restrictions have been relaxed a small amount. The rule regarding the rating of Role Plays now reads:

Role plays are to stay at a PG-13 level; the role playing of excessive gore/violence, the use of illegal drugs, underage use of alcohol, overtly sexual content [vague allusions and assumptions left to the reader should be fine for adult characters], suicide and/or self mutilation are all prohibited and may result in an increased warning level. Basically: If you don't think a thirteen year old should be able to read your post then don't post it.

[li]Adult Characters on Hogwarts Grounds - This was always an unwritten rule that I had assumed was written. I learned it wasn't when there was a run-in with it being broken, so now it's all penned out for you. Here's the new rule:

Any adult character wanting to enter Hogwarts grounds [including the Forbidden Forest] must have Admin Approval in some fashion. If they want their character to sneak on the approval must be Out of Character. Otherwise approval should be acquired in character.

[li]Lessons - When Lesson policy was changed here it wasn't reflected in the rules properly: now it has been.

Without classes, Hogwarts New Zealand wouldn't be Hogwarts. As such, attendance in classes is mandatory for your character to have a future, though if you're not able to post in a lesson your character will still receive an 'A' (Acceptable) for that lesson. <LI>[li]Acceptable Spells - Often it is unclear what spells a character would and would not know, and though we tried to solve these questions with a light piece of documentation many moons ago it didn't quite match up to what was needed. So Ford Harkonnen took a tonne of initiative and put together this documentation for us, outlining what spells can be used in what year and their effects. It is in both the Site Rules section of the board and in the Duelling Chamber.
