ROLEPLAY WARNING: Mild blood. Lots of blood.

Athene stepped silently into the great hall, closely followed by Bella. It was extremely dark... the enchanted ceiling was cloudy, and hid the moon and most of the stars, leaving the two trouble makers with very little light to go by. Athene couldn't help but find it a little eerie, seeing the usually bright and bustling hall so dull and lifeless. Although the blanket of blackness was oddly comforting, and the silence even more so.

"Lumos," Athene muttered, and a golden beam of light lit up the path in front of her. She smiled, and walked up between the tables. Her eyes on the empty wall behind the Head Mistress' chair.

"Perfect..." Bellatrix sneered. As she stepped closer when they reached the wall. Feeling the smooth stone beneath her hands. "This is going to be the best thing ever....they won't see whats coming..." she cacked lightly.

((OoC: It's a shame we didn't have time to get Dragon's Blood. It would have made this a lot less angsty sounding :3))

Athene smirked, and looked up at their cold stone canvas. It was just waiting to be painted.

"Who do you think will be the first to translate it?" She asked with a small, silvery laugh. "My bet's on the Ravenclaws. I can't wait to see their faces." She rolled up the sleeve of her cloak, just past her wrist. With her nail, she pressed hard against the skin until it drew blood. The prick began to swell and trickle. She felt oddly satisfied.

"We shall first get to see our dear Professor's reactions, but then it shall slowly leak to the students, and first the Ravenclaws." Bellatrix said slowly rolling up her sleeve to reveal her pale bony hand silently waiting for Athene to prick her.

Athene nodded as she stepped up to Bellatrix and took her hand in hers. With a different nail on her right finger she gave her friend the same cut, and watched as the red blot grew. "Sorry," she said softly, hoping that Bellatrix didn't mind the pain. She let go of Ballatrix's wrist and stepped back. Her own wrist throbbing.

"Bella, do you know how to do an Engorgio charm? We don't have enough blood... and I know that Engorgoi makes things bigger. I'm not sure if it works on liquid, but it's worth a try." She smirked. "I don't fancy cutting off my left hand for the cause."

Bellatrix sneered as the deep red blood began to swell on her pale white hand. She didn't feel any pain from it, so it felt almost natural. "Its fine." she said to Athene, "And yes, I do. But I need your wand, I don't have mine...remember..."

Athene smiled, "of course," and with a whispered 'nox', handed Bella her long, Bloodoak wand. She stood back and, turning Professor Barkers chair around with a little grunt of effort, sat down on it and crossed her legs. She cupped her hand underneath her arm, to prevent spilling any of her precious blood.

Bellatrix took Athene's wand with gratitude. "Your first." she said softly turning to teh girl in Alicia's chair. "Fitting chair for you I might add..." she mumbled as she pointed the wand at Athene's finger, with a swish and flick she said clearly, "Engorgio!" and slowly the pool of blood began to run faster. She then pointed the wand to her own, now dripping had and repeated the spell, watching teh blood flow out quite rapidly, though she felt to fatigue from it. "Let us mark the school with the strike of the snakes, shall we?"

Athene nodded grimly and stood up. Taking the wand from Bellatrix, she lit it with Lumos again, and it lit up the hall. Catching sight of a goblet under the Gryffindor table, she summoned it. When it was in her hand, she let it fill with the warm blood as it issued from her wrist. She handed the wand back to Bella.

"Keep this still while I write, will you?" she asked, and pulled the huge chair out and over to the wall. Standing on it, she dipped her fingers into the goblet and pressed them against the stone. She felt like a painter, running her hands down and around to form the words. When she jumped off of the chair and stepped back, she admired the words in the Lumos light.

Hufflepuffs ite domum!
Ravenclaws ite domum!
Griffindors ite domum!

Potius mori quam foedari.

Bellatrix gladly took the wand, and watched Athene paint her beautiful masterpiece and a sneer etched across her cold face. "Perfect..." she said when she saw the girls finished product. "Now its my turn."

Athene nodded, and tipped the remaining blood on the floor, handing the empty goblet to Bellatrix. "Clean it up with 'Scourgify' when your done," she insisted, looking down at the pool of blood at her feet. "And you don't think you could close my wound, do you?" It was irritating only having one wand between them.

"No...I don't know how...sorry..." she muttered taking the goblet and filling it with her deep red blood. She then stood on the chair and slowly dipped her pale fingers into the goblet. When she had let the blood drip between her fingers she began, working swiftly and silently she wrote.

Vipera virus semper fratricida!
Omnis quid anguigena arbitratus foedus caenum-cruor infestus orbis arbiter!

She then stepped down from the chair but as she was coming down she dropped the goblet full of blood. Splattering it all over the Head Mistresses chair and making a loud clank.

ooc: PROFESSORS HINT HINT!

ooc: Translation: Hufflepuffs ite domum - Hufflepuffs, go home!
Ravenclaws ite domum - Ravenclaws, go home!
Griffindors ite domum - Griffindors, go home!

Potius mori quam foedari - Better to die than to dishonor

Vipera virus semper fratricida - The snakes venom/posion always kills

Omnis quid anguigena arbitratus foedus caenum-cruor infestus orbis arbiter. - All who are snake born will rule the filthy mud-blood infested world.

(((tee-hee I translated some of it myself:

However, why is the attack against houses instead of against blood status? In the books it was never "I hate Gryffindors" it was "I hate mudbloods and the likes -- and gryffindor has tonnes" :p )))

((OoC: lol, you should take the translations out. It's half the fun having people google them and try and work them out.))

Athene swore, and jumped up, her eyes wild. "Bella! We have to go, the teachers will be here soon!" Above, the enchanted ceiling was slightly blue, and a little less gray. Was it nearly dawn?

Athene was splattered with blood, mostly Bellatrix's. She tugged at Bella's arm in panic.

ooc: :p Well this is our own rendition of the sort.

Professor Weiss was the first through the door of the Great Hall. She looked around and saw nothing out of place until she turned to the front of the room behind the Professor's dias. There was Bellatrix and Athene, covered in what she only hoped was paint splatters and writing on the wall behind them. She held her wand in front of her and yelled. "HOLD IT! Don't move you two!"

((OoC: Niiiiiick, can you PM your OoC talk instead of posting it? It kills roleplays. Van you delete it all please?

And Athene and Bellatrix hate all other houses. It doens't have to be like in the books... they do have their own personalities.:p))

Bellatrix quickly got up from her fall, trying to get the blood off of her. "sh1t!" she said as they began to run for the doors of the Great Hall trying to slip past the Professor.

oco: Sorry I tried to make my post make sense because you already arrived, SO it works now.

(((It does not kill role plays and I can't delete posts [-( )))

Professor King followed Belladonna into the hall, second to arrive he allowed her to speak and simply took in the writing on the wall, using his vague knowledge of latin to work out a few words here and there.

Cecily skid to a halt in the middle of the great hall. Her green eyes widened as she took in the disgusting display in front of her. Her hand clenched on her wand. She walked forward slowly, her wand out in front of her.

Bellatrix made a run for it. "Stupefy!"

"BELLATRIX! USE THE FLIIPING WAND!" Athene screamed, sprinting after Bella, feeling horribly defencless without one.

Gabriel's eyes widened as he observed what looked like a crusted red-brown paint on the wall, darting between the two girls, realizing mortifyingly that it was indeed not paint. He observed that the writing was Latin; he could not translate it, but he knew enough that it had to do something with hating the three houses outside of Slytherin.

He held out his wand, pointing it at the two girls but not saying anything. They would be foolish if they tried to run
.

"Stupefy!" Professor King bellowed, his wand trained on Bellatrix who was first to dart for the door, the fact that these two figured they could pull this off humored him.

"F**k!" she screamed. Then shakily taking the wand and she began to panic. The first Professor she saw, she suddenly fired a stupefy spell towards.

ooc: Professors decide.
