It had been a rather rushed affair, but Lily Fossil Cliffeton hadn't minded it in the slightest, with few friends and no remaining family Lily was just glad to get it over and done with, after all, she had just wanted to marry him and be Justin's wife, tired of just being his girlfriend. They had their little family on paper and she was going to happily take his name. It had been such a whirlwind of emotions her relationship with him, one minute she was returning to New Zealand and magic after so long away and promising herself no more boys, relationships or anything and the next here she was, with Justin, newly weds enjoying the reception of the wedding, it was early evening and the entire day had been amazing, the ceremony had been beautiful, she had never felt so special in her life. Lily currently had Jacob in her arms as she greeted some of the guests, they were by enlarge Justin's friends, his family and his colleagues, most of Lily's friends were non-magical and therefore couldn't attend this magical wedding. She adjusted her son's weight on her hips, trying her best to stop it from messing up the beautiful dress that she had gotten for the occasion, a dress that fitted her thin figure and made her feel like an honest princess, which had never been something Lily would ever thought she would be, as a young girl her wedding had always involved ballerina costumes and pointe shoes, her dress and white heels were far from that.

Everything had been put together rather quickly, but as she watch Justin speak to someone, she realised how happy she was about it all. The former ballerina had never expected anything like this, she had never expected to get married but she had, and while for her it was still a rather lonely affair because she hadn't had anyone to invite really, she loved how the venue looked, the flowers and the light, the centre pieces and her son's formal wear, she loved how handsome her husband, such an odd word to think, looked. Lily looked at her son, who was speaking to her in long sentences and replied easily to him, just grinning easily at him, and replying with an excited tone. She wanted to enrol the boy in a dance class, while she knew what it had done to her life, and her mother's life, she wanted him to at least learn a little. But, that was no the thing to focus on, rather the wedding she was the bride for, it was a formal and polite affair, but she was smiling easily and felt so relaxed, Justin had helped make it perfect and she was glad she had married him.

Professor Justin Cliffeton was having the most amazing day. He had just exchanged vows with the girl of his dreams, and he was so unbelievably happy as a result of it. Justin hadn't spent a long amount of time with Lily, but there was so much that the two of them had accomplished together and there was so much that the two of them had together. They had a child, a tiny little family.. and most importantly, they had each other. Justin walked through their reception, reminiscing on their wedding together that was only a couple of hours ago, sharing words with all of the guests that were there with them today.

Eventually, Justin managed to find his new wife, and he was so happy that they were able to share this day. Finding her, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her. "Well hello there beautiful." Justin said with a smile on his face. She looked absolutely beautiful, as he had always expected her to look. She was beautiful every single day of her life, and he knew that would never change. "I hope you're having fun." Justin said, kissing her again. Raising his voice, Justin turned to the others and smiled. "I hope you're all having fun!" He said with a big smile on his face.

Lily was in a small state of bewilderment, she honestly could barely believe what she had done, what she had done with him, Justin meant the world to her now but they had moved so much faster than she would've ever felt herself comfortable with, she had never imagined she would be ready for marriage and yet now she stood married to someone she loved and thoroughly enjoying every moment. The respectable and lovely ceremony had been in her mind a reflect of who she was as a person, it didn't have many people that she knew well given her lack of friends and family but it had enough that she felt surround in a good and loving atmosphere. The woman smiled easily as Justin made his way over to her, and found that his joy over all of it was as strong as her own, that it was exactly what she had always wanted, to feel love and be loved regardless of flaws and imperfections, regardless of the odd occasion where she had likely acted out, though she would always claim that she had actually helped them, in realising where she had stood and how much it meant to her that he had remained.

Lily leaned easily into him with a small smile clear on her lips, and she easily readjusted how Jacob was in her arms so that she could lean more easily into his kiss, nodding at his statement, "We both are," Lily told him positively as he then greeted the others with the same joy and she waited till he was finished with that to continue her conversation with him, "Jacob was particularly fond of the slice of cake," she told him bouncing the little boy slightly to illicit a little giggle from him and the former ballerina just look to her new husband with a small grin, "Are you having fun, husband?" she asked him, putting a little emphasis on the husband because it was such a new and interesting thing for them to be, they were husband and wife now, and she definitely would never get over saying it, and she was sure she would never get over hearing it.
