Alice loved organizing things, and she loved being social. In her first year, she had organized a meeting for other first years to all gather in one place where they could chat and socialize. That had been a lot of fun, but now that she was a bit older Alice wanted to do something with a bit more structure to it With the classes getting harder and the electives added to the mix, as well as the fact that everyone had the same classes at the same time now, Alice had thought a study group for third years would be a good idea. She had done her best to spread the word, pinning up a note on any notice board she had been able to access. She knew not everyone in the third year would come, and that was fine. It was only for those interested, and she knew a few of her friends were keen to be a part of it.

She had claimed a large table in the student lounge for it, making sure it had plenty of chairs around it. She had brought up a few snacks, as well as an old mug where she put her spare quills and pens in in case anyone had forgotten anything. There were a few rows of parchment as well, and Alice placed down her books too. It looked quite ready for a good study session, and she hoped people would enjoy coming to the group and helping each other. She was putting the finishing touches on her work, then looked around to see if anyone had turned up yet.

Kishen Tiwari found himself standing in front of the entrance of the Student Lounge. He had heard of a study session that a girl was organizing, and he was interested. However, he was nervous. What if he was the only one there? What if the girl was mean? Even though all of these things were going through Kishen's mind, he walked into the room. There was a girl there, and he walked up to her with his books in hand. "Hi. I am Kishen Tiwari." he introduced himself gently.

For the last two years, Artemis had never really minded much attention to her grades, especially because she had always been too busy exploring and having fun as opposed to sitting inside and staying in one place for many hours...just to read and memorise things. It sounded awfully boring to her, back then it had at least. But this year, the Gryffindor was determined not to slack off as much and to make her parents happy - it was the least she could do. She did want to impress them, somehow, not to mention her oldest sister had had a chat with her during the break.

So when she had seen the notice about a study group for third years, the Gryffindor thought it a great opportunity to meet new people, or rather, people she knew but didn’t exactly speak to. Having some friends from her year would be nice. She packed her books for the classes she was taking this semester and it wasn’t long before she arrived to the student lounge, immediately noticing that there were only two other people in here. "Hey," she greeted, the very informal greeting being the way she always said hello to people.

Alice had heard from a few of her friends that they would come, but she still felt a bit nervous as she waited by herself. Would they really show up? What if she had organized this all for nothing? But then a boy approached the table with books in his hands, and Alice gave him a relieved smile. "Hi Kishen! Welcome, take a seat." She said, gesturing to the table. "Thanks for coming!" She then turned her smile to the next person to arrive, a Gryffindor girl she didn't really know. "Hi! I'm Alice, nice to have you here." She said happily.

Vader had heard about the study group, given that he was friends with Alice it made sense that he would hear about it. The boy hadn’t thought he’d go along, but since he’d decided to do a few more classes than he’d thought he would - some misguided belief that he needed to do more, meant he needed the study group. It had however meant the reworking of his schedule to account for it. It wasn’t too hard really, it was early enough in the year that it didn’t take him too long to figure out, just move a few other things and he could fit it in. Of course, the only problem was, when Vader actually noticed what time it was, he realised that if he didn’t leave soon. The boy had been working on some of his own photos, developing them in the accio room. He finished up what he was doing and cleaned himself up in the room, getting rid of the stains and cleaning his hands of the usual messy that occurred when developing pictures. The teen headed up all of the steps quickly enough, he didn't want to be late, but it was a rather short journey.
Vader walked into the student lounge and immediately spotted Alice and the other people who were clearly there for this event too. He knew Kishen, they had studied together in the past so seeing him didn't surprise him, and the other girl, he didn't know but knew that she was a gryffindor. ”Hey Alice, Kishen,” he said cheerfully to the two he knew and flashed a little smile to the third. His worries and concerns over whether or not he and Alice were still friends after what had happened in the duel were long gone, and all that was replaced when surrounded by two friends was a little warmth, knowing he was going to spend time with some people he liked. ”Can I just sit anywhere?” the teen asked motioning to the seat available as he moved to stand next to Kishen. Vader had been trying to keep an eye out for Kishen's brother liked he'd asked him to, but Vader didn't have anything to report on that just yet.

Kishen was greeted by Vader and he smiled. He did not touch him, but he gave him a small bow. He had thought he had gotten out of that habit. Kishen walked over to the table and looked at all the things that were on it. He took a pen from the table because he hated using quill and ink. Kishen took a seat in a corner of the big table making sure to save a spot next to him for Vader.

Alice's smile became brighter when she noticed Vader, and she waved at him happily as he approached. "Hey Vader! Good to see you." She said brightly. It seemed like he knew the Slytherin boy, even if Alice didn't really know him. But that was what made things like this so good, they would all get to know each other more. Alice nodded when Vader asked her if he could sit anywhere, gesturing to the chairs. "Of course, sit anywhere you like!"

Isabelle was keen to make new friends. And she wanted to do that, she had it in front of her as a goal. And her parents had said that it would be good for her. Next to Maddie Isabelle only had her books, and she saw them as good friends. But now she wanted friends that could actually talk back to her. So when she got the word of a study group that seemed like the perfect thing for her. So there she was walking to the large table that Alice had set up. Isabelle had seen Alice before and she seemed like a nice girl. When she came there, there were already some few people and she noticed Vader too and was kind of happy to see him. She had been meeting with him a few weeks ago and she kind of liked speaking to him. He seemed really kind and fun to hang out with. Perhaps her true real first friend even. When she arrived she found a spot next to Vader and smiled to the others. '' Hello. I'm Isabelle from Ravenclaw.'' She than took her book and put it on the table. How was this going to go? Could they just do their own thing or? Isabelle could sometimes get lost in a book, so she hoped she would be there to speak to the others as well. '' Nice to see you Vader. What are you gonna study?'' The brunette than smiled to Alice as she was the one who hosted this.

Alice was glad everyone was settling in, but she was still not ready to go study for herself. As the person who organized this, Alice felt responsible for welcoming everyone that joined and making them feel happy. She grinned as a Ravenclaw girl joined, and waved at her. "Hi Isabelle! Take a seat and feel free to have a snack. It's nice to have you here." She said happily, before looking around to see if more third years would approach.

Vader nodded to Alice and took a seat next to Kishen, he thought this was vaguely like the accio meeting he had held, but he knew it wouldn’t actually be like that, they wouldn’t probably discuss a whole lot, the conversation would stick to something that they were revising, perhaps the same thing if they were all revising the same thing. He took out a few books that he had brought with him, kind of looking to Alice to sort of lead this, when another girl entered the room. Isabelle. He’d met her when he’d been so tired he’d forgotten what table was actually his. Though that had come from a night of heavy good sleep rather than poor, non-sleep. He gave the girl a little smile as she sat down next to him. ”You too Isabelle,” he liked the girl, she was nice and he would never turn down the possibility of a friend. ”I’m not sure, yet,” he replied to her question. Unsure as to if they would be studying the same or something different. He looked back at Alice. He didn’t want to overstep and try to ask more questions than necessary. He already had too much on his plate and needed just a space dedicated to interacting and studying, Alice was the one to organise it he’d wait to hear what she said about the matter. ”Oh Isabelle, this is Kishen, we sometimes study together in the library, Kishen, this is Isabelle,” Vader knew that Isabelle had introduced herself when she’d walked in, but given that she was sat on Vader’s other side and he didn’t want to leave Kishen out of the conversation did introduce them to each other.

Caspian's grades had been awful the previous year, so much so his parents had actually noticed. The Gryffindor knew his attitude wasn't going to change toward his classes but when he heard that a Hufflepuff in their year was hosting a study group Caspian thought it was the perfect chance to make it look like he was trying without actually putting any effort in. Caspian knew the study group was meeting in the students lounge so he made his way down from the Gryffindor common room. When he arrived there was already a few students who had gathered for the meeting. There was a girl who seemed to be the one everyone was either looking at or gravitating to so it would make sense that was Alice. "Alice right?" Caspian asked as he approached the Hufflepuff.

Alice hoped the studying could begin soon, though she would welcome anyone joining them for this meeting. It was nice that a few people from different houses had attended this. She had hoped for that, as it meant people were mingling that otherwise wouldn't have met. She smiled as Vader introduced Isabelle and Kishen. Vader seemed to have a lot of friends, and that made her happy. A boy approached, and Alice looked up as he asked her if she was Alice. "Yep!" She said brightly. "You're... Caspian, right?" She knew most of her classmates from classes, though she hoped she hadn't mixed him up with some other Gryffindor boy. She hadn't talked to many besides Vader.
