Kayden was spending his first day as a Hufflepuff outside in the quiet nature laying on the Great Lawn. His sister was suppose to join him later and most likely talk his ear off about Gryffindor. He remember counting the number of twins he saw last night and he was over whelmed with how many there was in his grade. There seemed to be two other pairs of a boy and a girl and then two twin girls on top of that. He'd never met another set of twins let alone three sets and maybe more, since he lost count once he sat down at the Hufflepuff table.

As he layed on the lawn he wondered how other twins interact with each other. He knew alot of siblings didn't have as close as a relationship as he and Georgiana had. However, that was mostly because their mother left them when they were young and so Georgiana became the motherly figure in his and his little sister's lives. He didn't mind, she always was the more outgoing type anyway, she fell right into the leadership that mother's always have, in his opinion. "How many twins are there," he wondered outloud talking about his fellow first year classmates.

Georgiana walked out onto the Great Lawn, she figured her brother would be somewhere in the fields enjoying himself. She walked around for quite awhile before finding him laying in the grass looking at the sky. "Making animals from the clouds again?" She asked teasing him. Georgiana looked around the lawn and remembered the question she heard him say out loud as she came towards him. "Quite alot actually. In our year I mean. I think it's really strange, I mean dude, how could it be possible that all of us were born in the born year and all invited to come here for school? Very, very strange," she said laughing slightly. Looking around again, she tried to see if she could spot anyone around in their year that had a twin.

Darla had been walking around the castle with her skates on her hands. Usually the house elf carry it but sadly he wasn't here. She had been searching for frozen pond so that she could skate but sadly she saw none. Little Darla was sure there was at least one in the castle, that was why she was walking around it again toward the great lawn. Hogwarts was beautiful, the design of it, and the size of it. The girl wonder what spell did they use to build the castle, she knew how muggle did it but she had never seen wizards building it with magic. Or perhaps they did it the manual way? Soon she was going to know.

Two students were spotted by Darla and surprisingly they were from different houses. The little girl who was shorter than the rest decided to walk toward them and talk to them.
"Excuse me, I've been searching for a place for me to ice skate but I can't find one. Do you know any frozen pond around?" Darla said hoping that they knew, if there was any second or third or even seventh year, she was sure they knew a perfect place for her to skate.

Loretta was on the hunt for her sisters. She seemed to have lost them. Loretta was trying to find Brielle first, as her sister would probably be somewhere music-related. Loretta figured that Brielle would be the easiest person to find. Ava was more difficult. Loretta was sure that Ava would probably be making friends somewhere. Loretta was constantly amazed how friendly Ava was. Loretta was more quiet than her sisters. She walked around the castle, and saw a few students sitting around. It was not normal for Loretta to walk up and talk to people, but she really wanted to find Ava and Brielle. "Uh, excuse me?" she asked politely. "Have you seen any girls that... Well, girls who look exactly like me?"

Sara was sitting on the grass looking at the great mass of grandeur that was her new home. "It's all real" she whispered to herself. She saw a small group of kids to her right a girls with long, shiny hair and striking blue eyes, a boy with blonde hair and the same striking blue eyes. I wonder if they're related she thought, then remembered seeing them at the sorting ceremony, yes twins, surname.....N,..M, she hated that, when some small thought eluded her. That would drive her mad now she thought with an exasperated sigh.Strange she and KK (her nickname for her twin kate) were used to being considered different for being twins, but not looking alike, I guess I'll have to get used to that here she thought. Beside them were a small girl holding skates, she looked kind of lost and a girl with long black hair. They look nice she thought, but didn't move to get up. She didn't dare risk it, they'd think she was weird coming up to talk to them. Don't judge Sara, she isn't ussually shy, but knows that she would probably say something insulting without meaning to. Anyway she could stay with KK, but she knew that that wasn't an option. Her sister was her best friend, but everyone needs some space. "Usually I'm good at making friend,s what's wrong with me?" she asked herself, but she already knew the answer, she'd already written the list- She was Irish, but didn't look it, she didn't know much about magic, she was argumentative and opinionated.
The opposit of her amazing twin who was kind and well-manner. I can be well-mannered she thought to herself when i want to be she added.
Sara was well=mannered and kind, but when someone did something she thought was wrong she told them and that can be irritating she added to herself. She then began to sing a sad, slow, passionate song, she didn't forget the other kids, wished she had talked to them, but doubted she'd have the chance now. She heard a noise behind her and snapped her eyes open.

Georgiana looked at the three new girls who showed up, she was suprised by the sudden numbers. "I know there's the Lake, but I don't think it's frozen even during winter, sorry. No I don't think I've seen any one who looks exactly like you, sorry again! but we can you look!" She said to the two girls who approached her and her brother. She kept her smile on her face the whole time, the thrid girl didn't actually come up to them, but Georgiana spotted her in her eye sight and wondered why she was all alone. She lightly nudged Kayden and pointed in the girls direction, basically telling him to go over there and introduce himself. "So do you have a twin too? uhm," she asked the first girl that showed up looking for a frozen pond.

There were a lot of students coming toward them, Darla was not interested in them at all. The second youngest in the Kuang family smiled at them as she took a few steps backward. "I've heard that there's a frozen pond around." She said still forcing herself to smile at them. No, Darla didn't want to make a bad impression after all she was only a first year and what she need was O's in her classes. Soon, Mason was going to be like her either he liked it or not. "And sorry no, I don't have a twin however my cousin has an identical twin sister and they're lovely. She said trying to compliment her but actually, she was showing off. She loved all her family, and she was so proud of them including Zac. Even though he was a little odd well not a little but very odd, he was a sear so why not be proud of him? "However I have a younger brother, Mason. But I've seen a lot of twins in the school" She shrugged and placed her skates on the ground feeling tired of bringing it everywhere.

Kate spotted Sara siting alone outside a group of first years she walked over and sat down beside her "hey"she said and then noticed all the other people looking at her so she decided to say hello to them too"Hello, whats ye're names" she asked

Sara said hi to Kate, but was glad when she went over to the other students, Sara loved her twwin, but they needed space and Kate was more likely to be nice to people, Sara was more likely to fall into a daydream in the middle of a conversation and insult them by doing so.

Kayden got the hint that his sister was giving him and sighed and moved over towards the girl that was sitting by herself. He quietly sat down a few feet from her. He sat awkwardly for a moment before making a light cough come out. "Um, Hi, my sister noticed you were all alone over here. Do you want company or I can go if you prefer," he said quickly to the girl. He wasn't sure who she was, or if she even knew English so his sppech came out awkwardly and hoped she would understand how hard it was for him to even talk to her at all.

Kate noticed a boy walking over to Sara she let them be and decided Sara might want some friends of her own and a little space Kate kept walking over to the others

"Oh, Hi" Sara said brightly, snapping out of her daydream, as she heard a slight cough behind her. "Oh, that's nice.." She said, she got the feeling this was awkward for him. "I'm Sara" she said politely "First year Ravenclaw, how about you" she said glancing at the boy, he seemed quite shy. "My twin Kate is the one over there with the long dark hair."

Georgiana smiled as her brother walked over to the girl. Turning her head she noticed a similar girl walking towards the group that was gathered around them. "Hey, I'm Georgiana Night, or White Dove, if you wanna call me by my native american name. My brother over there with the blonde hair is Kayden, we're twins," she said introducing herself to the girl.

"Hi"Kate said "Which name do you like being called.?"Kate asked glad someone was talking to her"Thats my sister Sara hes talking to"Kate said

Kayden glanced over at the group that had once been his quiet little sitting area. "Oh yeah?, my twin is the dark haired girl, same eyes, next to her," he replied. He shifted slightly as his mind dirfted off, before remembering to introducing himself. "Oh, I'm Kayden Night, first year Hufflepuff, you can call me Red if you want. I'm part Native American and that name is Red Wolf, so alot of people call me Red and my sister is Small Dove, but our family call her Dove, cause she brought us the peace after our mom left," he said going into more detail then needed. He shifted pulling his legs up and rested his arms on his knees.

Sara was intrigued. "Cool! Red.... I like it!" she said realising she was a little over the top, but that was just Sara, she was dramatic and over-the-top. "I'm Irish born and bred" she added, deciding his mother might be a sensitive subject that he might not want to talk about. "She seems nice, Sara and her should get along well, she was always the peace-keeper in our house." she said, smiling

Kayden looked at the girl with suprise written on his face. "Really? Not many people like refering to me by that name, since I don't really look Native American, where as my sister has at least the hair to be part Native," he said in reply to her liking his other name. A slight simle popped on his face for a second before going back to his normal stoic apperance. He nodded his head listening to her talk about her sister Sara. "How come she's over with the group and you're by yourself?" He questioned the girl sitting next to him turning his head to glance at Sara's twin.

Sara saw the smile, though it was fleeting -he can be brought out of his shell- she thought to herself "Yeah, well not many people think I'm Irish either, with the tanned skin, brown eyes and brown hair..." She said smiling, as much as it irked her that people often thought her French or Spanish, she liked being a little different. "Kate and I are very close and we've both made a lot of friends, but we need to branch out a little, I mean, Kate's always been more shy than me and I thought maybe I should hang back a bit, so she could come into her own.." Sara answered, she missed Kate sometimes, but everything was so busy now... "Have you made many friends?" She asked

Kayden nodded to what the girl was saying about people not reconizing her heritage becuase of looks. He was surpised that Kate was the quiet one consdering she went right over to the group and began to talk with them. "Not many friends. I have a good friend, Shiloh, in Gryffindor. We meet the other day int he courtyard and she showed me around the Lake. You're the first Ravenclaw I've met, and I don't know any Slytherins," he said shrugging his shoulders at his lack of friends, and Social Life. He did spend alot of his time either reading ahead for his classes or sitting outside connecting to nature.

Sara lay back on the grass and nodded along with Kayden. Then when he mentioned he hadn't many friends, she smiled "Hey, there is going to be a picnic on the 29th out on the lawn, you could bring your friends Shiloh aswell.." -Shiloh is a cool name- Sara thought. "You don't have to, if you don't want to, but there are some Hufflepuffs coming also... I don't mean to be pushy, but we have been asked to invite more people.." Sara faded away quickly, realising she was babbling "Sorry, I'm not ussually this... hmmm what's the word.... unsure of myself." she said quietly, lying back on the grass.

Kayden watched as Sara layed back onto the ground and joined her looking up at the sky. "Yeah? I'll have to ask Georgiana to talk to Shiloh about for me. Seeing as they are in the same house and I am not taking the classes I would have with Gryffindor, just two with Ravenclaw. So I'll be seeing you in class no doubt," he said in return to the girl at first. He wondered why she was unsure of herself, but being shy like her he already had an idea why. "You aren't being pushy it'll be fun I guess. And who knows we might make some new friends there, which honestly is really hard to do. I wasn't even going to come over here but my sister pushed me into it, I'm not very good at starting a conversation with people I don't know. But I'd say look at us now, on our way to being friends," he said trying to reasure her and himself that they didn't have anything to worry about right then and there.

"Thanks" Sara beamed. "You see in Ireland, I'm a freak.. and here I'm kind of out of depth, I'm confident, but here, I kind of want to re-invent myself you know?" Sara said, sitting up. She wasn't sure why she was sharing so much, but she got the feeling he wouldn't tell anyone. "Kate doesn't know about the problems I had in muggle school, so please don't tell her- we're close, I tell her everything, but that would only upset her.." Sara added, just to make sure. "So, do you miss home?" Sara asked

"Oh, man do I ever know how you feel. I'm the only Blonde back on the reservation. All the other kids used to make fun at me for it, but they've grown out of it," he said glancing over at the girl next to him. He wondered briefly if Kate already knew about it and just didn't say anything. "Georgie knows everything about me it seems, but no worries I won't tell your sister about your problems with muggles," he said giving her a reasurring smile. "And you know, I think your sister is more outgoing then you think, she nearly suffocated me with her hyperness, hmm, not sure if that's the right word. Uhm anyway, in the Common Room, she was kind of in my face, and I didn't know what to say to her," he said. He did feel bad about snubbing Kate off the first time he had meet her, but he hadn't been sure what to do.

"Hey, what do they know- you're different- an individual!" Sara smiled Sara laughed as he described Kate "That seems about right" she grinned "Kate can be like that-she's kind of on a mission, she wants to come out of her shell... I think- otherwise she's just had tooo many chocolate frogs!" Sara continued " I love Kate-she's the best, but she can be quiet and loud and all manner of things. Then at times she's like me, up for craic; well she's always like that, but every now and then she goes away with the fairies... That means kind of distant and far-out. Craic means fun by the way- I'm just not used to being around people who don't know all the old Irish sayings." Sara realised she was babbling "So, Red- where sis that come from; another language?" Sara stared up at the sky and watched a bird fly past "My friends and I used to have so much fun- one time these Spanish kids started speaking Spanish and laughing at us." Sara laughed, remembering Sara said giggling"We started speaking Irish, but we weren't bothered saying full sentences so we were just like capall, madra and fear poist- which means horse, dog and post-man."

"Um, thanks," he said with a little laugh at the end. "Oh, Red Wolf. utkwëhtææ'ê' utháyôni, it's my native name. It's from the Seneca Tribal lanuage we speak on the reserve," he said over to Sara. Kayden nodded to what she was saying about being picked on. Kids used to tease him and Georgiana all the time for being twins and differnet. "Say, when exactly is this on the lawn picnic thing going to be, did you say?" He asked glancing over at his sister and the group surrounding her.
