As a result from discussions with Elite Members and members of the MESSI, HNZ will be reviving the character spotlight in a new and improved way.
Many of you may remember it but some of you will not. The Character Spotlight is an initiative to encourage character development. The spotlighted character is listed at the bottom of the board's index page with a link to the character's biography along with the questionnaire the user filled out about their character and their character development/relationships threads if applicable. A new character is spotlighted every two weeks.
The new system for spotlighting has members of MESSI finding good biographies/well developed characters and suggesting them to Admin who have the final say. As the spotlight is an out of character award/honour for developing a well-rounded character anybody can win the award at any time, it's all about how devoted you are to your character.
An additional prize for the spotlight is an icon beside the user's name for the two weeks they are spotlighted (
