Esmerelda was getting on a bit in years now, not as spry as she once was she relied more and more heavily each day on her magic. Which wasn't so bad but she found that she was also using her transfiguration skills more and more as well. It was just much easier all round and of course on the school vacations she had now a full house and had very little to do herself. Considering she had her grandson over more and more and her goddaughter plus their friends who she also considered family, Essie couldn't have been happier.
She sat back in her rocking chair as she read the Daily Prophet using her finger to stir the stew in the large cauldron. There was so much creap in the paper these days, she wondered when anything decent would be printed.
