Rose had been going through costumes like a mad man. She wanted to go as a succulent, since she had loved her costume the previous year. Unfortunately time hadn’t been on her side and soon she had found herself with an unfinished costume that looked like nothing. Since Halloween was approaching very quickly Rose had decided to go for something else. She had grabbed some old clothing and paired it with scarf. She grabbed her crystal ball and decided to go as a seer. Rose wanted to have a free hand so she could do cool moves over the crystal ball she was carrying, so Edgar was in his macrame holder dangling from her hip. It did suit the costume, made her look more like the real deal. She was awful at Divination and couldn't predict anyone's future, but she was going to have fun with making stuff up.

Oscar hadn't been a particularly good friend to anyone last year so he was keen to change that this year. Going to the Halloween feast dressed as a shrub was one of the ways which he was hoping to change that with. It didn't take too long to spot someone familiar when he walked into the great hall. The boy waddled over to Rosemarie as carefully as he could when he saw her standing by herself, he was prone to falling over while in this costume. Despite his introvert tendencies, he actually, really really liked spending time with Rosemarie. ''You'd think I would have learned from my previous plant costume,'' Oscar said, announcing himself as he got closer to her. ''but I can barely see anything in this.'' He knew he should have come up with a solution to fix the bad eyesight, but he had forgotten to do so what with all classes and homework and all.

With the Halloween celebrations underway, Estella knew she had to put everything behind her and just enjoy the night. She decided to dress as something a little different this time. Her inspiration was from some muggle comics she had found while doing her muggle studies assignment, and she couldn't wait to show off her samurai costume. She entered the Great Hall, immediately looking for people she knew, and keeping an extra eye out to avoid the ones she didn't want to come across. Everyone looked so good in their costumes and Estella couldn't help the pang of jealously at their creativeness. When Estella saw Rose, she beamed, before carefully thinking who it could be in the shrub costume beside her. Surely it wasn't Sawyer. Taking that chance, Estella approached them. "Hey." she said to the both of them. She gestured to Rose's costume. "Are you here as a seer?"

Rose enjoyed giving mock futures to people. They usually involved plants and some other stuff that she could think of pretty fast. Nothing too horrible or things that involved death. Soon Rose was joined by Oscar and Rose let out a giggle when she saw his costume. ''That looks awesome'' Rose happily said to the shrub. ''You should have cut eye holes in your shrub costume Oz.'' There must be a way to attack it with some scissors right. A couple of minutes later Essie walked over and Rose smiled. She did look good in her samurai outfit. 'Hey, you look great'' Rose smiled ''and yes.. I predict the future and all'' She said holding her hand over the crystal ball.
