It had been just over a year since that night in the park, the night Aeon had gotten engaged to the most beautiful man he knew, the absolute love of his life. The two of them, he and Brodie together under the vast night sky, with his fiance's proposal written in the stars. It was the happiest day of his life, one he'd never expected to top. Yet here he was, standing in the center of a spacious, circular clearing hidden away within the forests of New Zealand, while his closest friends and family helped to prepare the area for his wedding which was only hours away now.

His wedding. It still didn't seem real. Marriage was always something he'd looked forward to, and now that it was finally here it felt like a dream, the reality of it was yet to catch up with him. Even as he watched the archway constructed before his eyes, thin green vines curling up and across it's white frame, weaving and blossoming with beautiful violet flowers, while a long velvet carpet unrolled itself across the grass and down the aisle, it was like viewing it from an outsider's perspective. Was it really happening?Aeon turned away from the archway, hands clasped nervously together. In just a short time, he'd be standing under it making his vows and sealing his love with Brodie for the rest of their lives. There was nothing he wanted more and he had to make sure everything was perfect. Absolutely nothing could go wrong today. The wizard walked slowly between the rows of seats, constantly adjusting and readjusting them. Each line had to be perfect. Glancing up, he watched as Dallas, his best friend and the woman who would bring his future children into the world, decorate the landscape with beautiful flowers and small floating lanterns, each one hanging in the air as if suspended by an invisible thread. To his left sat Twiddle, his house elf, whose fingers were constantly snapping while he worked his magic and aided in their preparations. To his right, standing in front of a large expanse of crystal-clear water and a relatively high, cascading waterfall, stood his twin sibling Sern, who with wand in hand was muffling the sounds of crashing water to a more peaceful volume. Only recently reunited, Aeon was grateful to have him present.

The hours passed and soon enough, the sun had begun to set. The sky was filled with shades of oranges, reds and purples, flecked with the sun's slowly fading golden rays which bathed the area in a warm glow. Aeon stood within the confines of a tall, pristine tent erected just at the edge of the clearing, it's entrance facing out toward the aisle. Outside, he could hear people beginning to arrive; Friends, family, colleagues. It was a strange feeling to hear their voices but not be able to interact with them. He had to stay segregated until the ceremony began, there was no contact with anyone. Well, everyone except his bridal party at least.

"Is this..is this really happening?" Summers asked aloud, turning to the others in his tent. Dallas and Kida, his best friend and cousin looking absolutely beautiful in their bridal gowns. Sern, his identical twin looking immaculate in his suit. Even little Scarlet looked gorgeous, sitting there holding a woven basket full of petals, hair braided with flowers. Restlessly, Summers fidgeted with the cuff of his sleeve, feeling as if it were a little too tight and restrictive, despite being tailored to his measurements. "I'm going to be married. Married. I should be happy. No, I am happy. I'm so excited I can barely breathe. But, I'm also worried and a little terrified. It's all one big mix of emotion. What if something happens? Merlin, especially after Nicolas and Ava's wedding..." He trailed off, eyes to the floor as he tried not too think too much about the event. He'd seen a man die just feet away from him, moments after tying the knot. The ordeal had almost made him put off the wedding entirely. Shaking his head, gently so as to avoid messing up his hair too much, he returned his gaze to those surrounding him. "It's all going to be fine, right? I'm no Head Auror after all. Jeez, I've never worried this much in my life." He took a deep breath, attempting to calm his nerves. "I just hope I can make Brodie happy, for the rest of our lives."

Dallas had been growing flowers for this day for the last 3 months, and finally all of her hard, and planning would pay of. Her little beauties would the stars of the show, second only to the grooms of course. She finished up with the wedding arch, willing it with delicate violet flowers. When she was finished with that she began arranging the flowers on the chairs the guests would be seated on in a few short hours. She had kept them planted right up until they were plucked to put on the chairs to make sure they were fresh. Dallas wiped some mud off of her hands, and onto the jeans she was wearing. Of course she would be changing before the wedding. She knew how worried Aeon was about everything going perfectly today, and how could he not be after what happened to that poor Auror? Aeon had been at the wedding in person after all. So the night before Dallas, and Aeon had spent the night together just hanging out, and relaxing before the big day.

Dallas looked up from her flowers, and rolled her eyes when she saw Aeon meddling with the chairs. "You know if those aren't perfectly straight it'll just absolutely ruin the wedding, right?" She called out sarcastically. If she ever got married there wouldn't be any fuss. Just a small ceremony, and dinner at her parents’ house. Once the flowers were done Dallas moved on to hanging magically floating lanterns. Each had a bright glowing flame that was completely harmless when touched. They would provide much needed light to the nighttime ceremony. After a few minutes she noticed Aeon was still fidgeting so she went over to him, draped an arm over his shoulder, and gave him a comforting squeeze. "Let's to get cleaned up, and changed Mr. groom to be." She told him, as she led him over to the newly erected tent that would act as their dressing room. Kida, and her children should be showing up any minute.

A few hours later Dallas was in her dress, her hair, and make-up done. Soon she would be up standing next to Brodie as his bride’s maid. She wasn't as close with him as she was Aeon, but hey she would be having his babies, and Kida was Aeon's cousin after all. Dallas knelt down next to little Scarlet, and wove some flowers into her hair. "Are you ready to be the most beautiful flower girl ever?" She asked as she handed the young girl a basket full of petals. Dallas stood up, and made her way over to Aeon. She adjusted the flower crown hanging loosely on his head so it was a bit straighter. "And are you ready to be the most handsome groom ever?" Dallas asked him with a small smile. "The women here are going to envy Brodie today," she told him to try, and calm him down.

The day had finally arrive, her younger cousin Aeon was finally getting married with all the pomp and circumstance that only his wedding could possibly have; Floating lanterns and flowers adorned the white flower arch at the end of the aisle where Aeon and Brodie would exchange their vows for one another. With two children in tow Kida made her way to the tent which Aeon was getting ready, taking the brides traditional role in this wedding he wasn't to be seen by the Groom until the moment he walks down the aisle. Kida's long dark blue Bridesmaid Dress flowed around her as she walked, her two children on either side, Scarlet in her flower girls dress and Leonidas who was wearing his little suit and holding on the Scarlet's hand. Kida had a Basket in one hand and Leonidas' Bag in the other so thankfully Scarlet was comfortable in holding Leonidas up in case he had a little trip up. Raising one hand Kida directed the children towards a Tent which Aeon was in 'Off you two go, Go see Uncle Aeon' Watching the two briefly to make sure they went to the correct Tent Kida changed directions and went over to one of the chairs at the front of the aisle to place down Leonidas' Bag for when Icarus arrived and would be taking care of him.

Once the Bag was in place Kida adjusted the straps of her dress which complimented her light olive skin making it glow lightly and headed towards the Tent, Her long velvet Brown hair in loose curls softly bounced against her back and the Gold flowers woven into her hair glimmered in the setting sunlight; Kida gently picked up the Dress to keep it out from under her shoes admiring the lanterns soft glow lighting up the area, everything seemed to be perfect, it made Kida wish that she had had a wedding of her own instead of a small gathering at a registry office, she never had the chance to walk down the aisle.
Reaching the tent Kida brushed it open and saw Dallas the future mother of her 'Nieces or Nephews' was braiding flowers into Scarlet's hair whilst Leonidas was sitting on the chair tapping his feet together. Kida put her basket down and made her way over to Aeon, wrapping her arms around him 'Well, Aeon Look at you, Finally getting married.' she said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek but quickly rubbed off any smudge left my her lipstick, she noticed him fidgeting and she gentle put her hand on his and smiled 'You're going to make your sleeve grubby if you continue to do that' she said with a half-smile.
Pulling away from Aeon she made her way over to Sern who was adjusting his bow tie, she put her hand on his shoulder to turn him around and fixed it for him 'I don't know why you're worrying, Aeon is going to have..' Kida raised her voice and looked over her shoulder 'All eyes on Him'

Leonidas had hopped off his chair and was clinging to Kida's leg, this was probably the most dressed up he had ever been and it was confusing for him not knowing why they were there or what they were doing; Bending down she picked him up and placed him on her hip 'Well Little Man, are you ready to go with Dallas to find Daddy and go sit at the very front.' sounding more enthusiastic then she was but she wanted him to be excited so that he didn't get too overwhelmed with being smiled at by a lot of strange people to him. Hearing voices Kida made her way to the entrance and opened it slightly to see if Icarus was there, she noticed him finding the bag and Kida let the opening fall closed and made her way over to Dallas who was calming Aeon Down. Dallas and Kida didn't know each other very well but if Aeon trusted her enough to have his children she would trust her with her child. 'Would you mind taking Leonidas over to Icarus for me Hon' Leonidas' large grey eyes looking at Dallas trying to figure out who she was.

Holding onto her younger Brother's hand she led him up the path to the grounds where her Uncle Aeon was going to get married, Leonidas had mastered walking but was still prone to getting ahead of himself and almost falling face flat on the ground so she held his hand to make sure he didn't do that. Her mother was head of her hands full, dark blue dress flowing around her and Scarlet was wearing a bluey white Flower girls dress which made her look rather tall; The 8 year old stood at 5ft exactly which was at the tall end for a 8 year old but still within normal parameters. Scarlet lifted her arm to keep Leonidas from falling head forward who seemed a bit too eager and excited with all the lights floating everywhere.
Her mother told her to go to find her Uncle in the tent and the nodded 'Come on Leonidas' she said to her little brother and changed directions to head towards the tent where her uncle was.

Opening the Tent door she let Leonidas walk in before letting it close behind her, Both of her Uncles were there getting ready and the woman she can only assume was Dallas. 'Hi Uncle Aeon and Uncle Sern' she said with a smile, Leonidas walked over to a chair and flopped his face on it as a way to pull himself up onto the chair, she watched him for a moment to see if he needed help but he eventually managed to drag himself up onto the chair with his face and hands.
Scarlet turned and ran up to her Uncle Sern and wrapped her arms around his waist giving him a right hug. Letting go she moved her hair off her face and moved over to her Uncle Aeon Wrapping her arms around his waist as well giving him a hug 'You look so Amazing Uncle, Uncle Brodie is going to be lucky' Scarlet wasn't quite sure what else to say in a wedding situation, she had never participated in a Wedding before apart from her Mothers and didn't know what to say or do and she hoped she did the flower girl role correctly.

Dallas came over to Scarlet and asked if she was ready to be the most beautiful flower girl ever 'I Think, as long as I don't get stung by a Bee' she said brushing her hair out of her face again before accepting the Basket full of Petals, the Woman was braiding some Flowers into her hair which helped keep her hair off her face at least so she wouldn't have to worry about brushing it out of her face. Her mother arrived in the tent and helped her Uncles get ready and deal with Leonidas; Scarlet went to go sit on a couch with her Basket and ran her fingers through the petals.

Two months.. Two months since his world had been torn apart and changed and Sern had not yet adjusted to this new one. Eyes wander, Sern was surrounded by family that for 11 years, he had thought they despised him. The bubbling of fussing and preparation seemed to amplify in his ears and he decided to busy himself further away from the group to quieten the crashing cascade of the waterfall. Sern's wand slipped down into his hand from his sleeve and with a steady will, the waterfall quietened intself to a more pleasant volume. After a few muttering and movements, he even managed to change the flow enough to give the watery sound a gentle tune.

Once satisfied, The wand slipped up his sleeve with a flick of his wrist and he was left once again to consider the worls around him. It was his brothers wedding. The brother that he'd only recently been reunited and yet had treated him with a love and loyalty Sern thought was dead to him 11 years ago. Under the dark shadows of his eyes, caused by frequent nights of little sleep, a smile took hold at the corner of his mouth. Home, the thought traveled his mind as a foreign whisper as repeated itself since his rescue. Shaking off the thought, Sern fou d himself making his was in long careful strides towards Aeon's tent, his movements still tensing as he passed those around him. Anyone observant could see he'd as easily run or fight at any moment need be. He found his brother, his twin, babbling about the emotions that assailed him preparing to be wed.

The faintest of eyerolls had to be held back, if only as a reaction to Sern's own nerves that threatened to break him to pieces. Best man? Was he worth that role? With these people he was now a stranger too? Again, it was a struggle to bring himself back to the world. Another smiled battled its way across his face, "You're perfect brother.. And it'll be perfect."His voice quiet but steady and taveled as well as any others.

It was only then that he realised he had been fiddling with his own tie anxiously. Kida was there in a flash, fixing it up for him and reassuring. Sern didn't mean it, but his eyes turned down and the to side slightly so he didn't look directly at her. It would take time to adjust. The thought the thank her came after the fact and he scolded himself for not doing so, instead turning to his raven Edgar, who had been just tolerant enough to have a bowtie for the occasion. A look passed between the two, edgar of silent judgement of his predicament and Sern of pleading. "Now now old friend, its only for a day."The flap of the tent heralded Scarlet with Leonidas in front and Sern was left yet again without words and she greeted and even hugged him. He offered a smile back down to the girl, just getting out the words "Good to see you little one.", before she turned away.

'You look so amazing Uncle, Uncle Brodie is going to be lucky'. Edgar made a gentle caw in response to Scarlet's reassurance to Aeon."I daresay he already is.", Sern seeming to answer the raven just as much as Scarlet. After a bit more fidgeting and pressure from Edgar he added. "I'm proud of you Aeon.", with what he could only hope was a supportive look.

Arisa was one of the first guests to arrive at Aeon, and Brodie's wedding. She had been hesitant to come at first, until Aeon assured her that Brodie's side of the family had not been invited. Part of the reason Arisa ever began drinking was because she couldn't shake the memories of her fathers abuse. It was still hard for her to believe that Aeon was marrying Brodie. She had known Brodie as a bigoted snot nosed brat. Of course people changed as they grew up, but a complete 180 was hard to believe. She supposed that didn't matter as long as they made each other happy.

Arisa apperated to the location that her invitation had listed, and was amazed with how beautiful it was. There was a waterfall rushing in the background, purple, and blue flowers everywhere, and delicate lanterns hung from the sky like they had at Hogwarts. The ceremony wasn't due to start for a bit so Arisa decided now was a good as time as any to congratulate one of the grooms. Brodie was standing beside an arch, with who she assumed was his best man, looking the happiest she had ever seen him. Arisa walked up to her cousin, greeted him politely, and told him how happy she was for him. It was one of the most awkward things she ever had to do. Arisa decided to go find a seat before all the good ones were taken.

Another one of her Grandchildren was getting married and Elizabetta was thrilled. wearing a Simple Dress suit she lead her Grand Daughter's half siblings along the Garden path towards where the ceremony was going to be held, it was absolutely stunning flowers and lanterns everywhere to be seen all glowing as the sun began to set slowly over the scene before them. Elizabetta was holding her Husband's hand Orlando as she walked.

Elizabetta glanced over her shoulder to Ashton and Perseus who had kindly brought her to this event. 'Come now, Hurry Up' she spoke over her shoulder to the boys who were trailing behind. Elizabetta couldn't see her Grandchildren anywhere so she assumed they were getting ready together, she spotted the Groom and she approached him with Orlando. Arms wide she had smile on her face showing pure Kindness, giving him a Kiss on each cheek 'Well now, What a stunning Groom, My Grandson is very lucky' her Italian Accent thick as she spoke, she spoke English as little as possible. Elizabetta gave the Groom a Pinch on the cheek whilst Orlando gave Brodie a solid Hand shake before turning and went to take a seat on her Grandson's side, she sat in the second row with her Husband.

Uncomfortable suits were not Perseus' favourite attire but he wore it for his Uncles' wedding regardless. Not having many people he liked right now he had decided that Aeon was in his good books and he would behave for today. Perseus and Ashton had gone together to get Kida and Aeon's Grandparents from their home in Italy, they wern't all that clued in on the whole Floo network so they assisted them, it was hard because Orlando insisted on speaking in only Italian and he had to hope that Elizabetta would translate for them but she as well only chose to use English if needed and Perseus only knew basic Italian from Kida.

Elizabetta and Orlando had gone to go see Brodie so Perseus gestured to Ashton that they should get a seat, even if Ashton wanted to see Brodie Perseus wasn't going to, he didn't know him and it'd be more awkward then anything. Perseus browsed the Area for pretty girls which had arrived, he went to walk over to one but was grabbed by the arm by Ashton 'Oh, I promised i'll behave while I wait. Dude please.' He plopped down on a Seat in the second front row on Aeon's side he sat down and looked at the lanterns which seemed to be floating above them, pulling out his wand he moved his wrist slightly making one single lantern drift from left to right circling other lanterns while he waited for the ceremony to begin.

Being Perseus, Elizabetta and Orlando's keeper at this wedding wasn't his plan but still was his role for this evening. Walking behind them keeping a close eye on Perseus up to the reception Area Ashton couldn't help but feel happy that he was attending this wedding. Knowing Aeon for a long time he was happy that he had found someone who made him happy. Once gathered at the main gate Orlando and Elizabetta broke off to see the Groom and Perseus went off to find a lady friend which Ashton quickly prevented by grabbing his arm and directing him to the seats and got him to sit down 'Sit, Be happy for Aeon and Brodie.' he said.

Ashton sat next to him and adjusted his suit and leaned over the back of his chair, Ashton looked up at the tents to see if he could See Kida or Aeon and for a brief moment he saw Kida looking out of the tent and he gave her a half wave. Turning back he saw Perseus was toying with the Lanterns, He gave him a quick punch in the arm to get him to stop. Elizabetta and Orlando joined them in their row of seats.
Watching people arrive he was amazed at how stunning people were who were showing up, he continued to people watch and waited for the ceremony.

Mandalyn Love Couldn't be more excited for her boss to be married. She was more than happy to attend the wedding, and of course the whole week leading up to it she had made sure he relaxed and taken on most of the duties at the menagerie. She didn't mind though, the animals were lovely to work with, and the people who came in were generally nice. The only thing she could complain about was the fact that all of the first years were flooding the shop for their pets - and even then they were mostly kind to her. She smiled at the thought, life was near perfect. She even had a date to the wedding with her - her wonderful boyfriend Dexter.

The two walked in and before long they found their seats. Andi held Dexter's hand and couldn't help but think about their future and if they'd have one. She thought about telling him the truth that night, but thought that perhaps she should just leave it unsaid. In twenty years when they are married it will have been easier that way. After all, most everything she told him was the truth. Mandalyn looked for the bride - er groom's - tent and tried to catch a glimpse of Aeon, but he was no where in site. No matter, she would see him soon enough she was sure.

The invitation to her cousin's wedding had come as a surprise to Esme, albeit a pleasant one. Despite his spoiled blood, she'd grown to like the Transfiguration Professor over the course of the past year. Even though her parents had initially disagreed with her associating herself with the wizard, he was a member of staff at school and the owner of the menagerie, which she frequented to purchase more supplies for her pet half-kneazle, so their constant interaction led to them simply sighing in resignation and deciding it could be worse; At least he wasn't a muggle-born, like his despicable father. The Slytherin witch wondered if she'd see infamous man in attendance. It seemed unlikely, apparently he hadn't been present in her cousin's life for over a decade.

As her parents refused to make an appearance at the ceremony, Esme and her older brother joined their aunt Katherine, their cousins mother, on her trip to the clearing. Her fingers intertwined with Emmett's, the two watched as Katherine's living room melted away before them and was quickly replaced with gorgeous forestry and flora. Esme stepped slowly forward, her heels burying themselves into the wild grass as she tugged gently on her siblings arm, guiding him after her. Her gown, a deep shade of plum that grew increasingly darker in the fading light, fluttered behind her with each step. Leaving Katherine to her own devices the two approached the aisle and glanced around the softly illuminated forest, eyes scanning across the faces of strangers with only each other for familiarity. Aeon wasn't present yet. At least, in view of everyone in attendance. Tradition, she supposed. His soon-to-be husband wasn't allowed to see him just yet. At least the wizard had made the right choice for a partner. A pureblood. It was just a shame they both had to be men and unable to produce their own children together. Pity. Re-Purifying the bloodline was a priority.

Amongst the sea of strangers came at least two faces Esme recognised. A boy she'd seen around the school, but hadn't troubled herself to speak to, and Mandalyn Love, Aeon's shop assistant. The two had briefly hung out the previous year. She was nice enough. "Come on, we'll take our seats over there." The witch whispered to her sibling. Hand in hand they made toward Mandy, flashing a brief smile and greeting as they seated themselves nearby. With the stars starting to show through the dying light of the setting sun, it became apparent that the ceremony would soon begin. Regardless of her family's opinion of Aeon, she was happy for him.

It was a surprise for elvera to receive an invite to the third wedding within a year. the first had been tragic, the second magical, this, the third one, who knew, she hoped it was just as magical as the second, and the only tragedy of it would be someone spilling a drink. She had been at school with Aeon as a student, and she guessed now she was still at school with him though in totally different position. either way she knew they have not been particularly close, even if they drifted in the same circle. she saw the group gathered and made her way to the back of the crowd. She looked around and saw quite a few familiar faces, some she hadn't seen for ten years since graduation. Some of them she knew were students. She could see a tent where she guessed the wedding party was situated. and behind it the sky was a beautiful golden sunset. She took her seat near the back where she wouldn't be in the way of anyone more important. and kept an eye out on the crowd, hoping and dreading to catch a glimpse of Icarus. and wondering if anyone else from school was going to show up, maybe even Eden, although Eden was her twin she hadn't heard from her for ages, not since she had started her travels. or Artemis maybe, had she and aeon been teaching at the same time, she couldn't remember, all the years seemed to blend. she sat down as her thoughts wandered before she, scanned through the running of events and waited for the ceremony to start.

Eden wasn't sure why she had returned to the area after being away for so long. When the inventation had come in the post Eden had sat there for hours weighing her choices. After much thought Eden had said screw it we are going to throw caution to the wind and come back home. Entering the seating area Eden saw the one person she had missed more then her long lost love her very own twin. Taking a deep breath Eden walked into the seating area and took a seat next to Elvera. Taking her sister by the hand she gave it a quick squeeze and a small smile. She knew that she would have a lot of explaining to do but for now she just wanted to enjoy a wedding and time with her friends and family.

Because I love you, Jesse. :tut:

Hayden Bane had not been to a wedding in quite some time. In fact, it had been so long that she'd had to dust off her one good dress from the back of the cupboard. She knew it had been there for many years. She couldn't even remember the last wedding she had been to. Hayden and Lisa had never been married themselves, mostly because Lisa hated weddings and marriage altogether. Considering how and why they had met though, Hayden did not blame her one bit. After weeks of begging Lisa to accompany her to this wedding, Hayden had eventually given in to the fact that she would never get Lisa to budge and had, albeit last minute, called on her last resort, Sammy. She was indeed quite thankful that though they were a magical family, they catered to the less enabled of them and kept phones in the house. It was not an uncommon thing for the Kaster's to actually call each other through muggle means. That said, when Sammy answered the phone, she probably could have done better than "Sammy! I need a date to a wedding, you have two hours, get over here." Admittedly she knew that Sam would have something for the occasion, and he did so love weddings, but it was a little remiss of her to be so forceful and not to have even given him the option to say no. Like he even would. It was Hayden's expert opinion that Sam didn't even know the word.

Still, a wedding was a wedding and a happy occasion as well. At least she hoped so. The likelihood of two tragic weddings in the space of a year was unlikely, but who was she to tempt fate, really? Everyone had heard of the wedding of the century, unfortunately it was for all the worst reasons. How someone could be so cruel to another human being was beyond her, but then, Hayden had always deplored violence, what would she know? The fact that she had only known Aeon for a shot time did nothing to deter her. She loved people and making friends was pretty easy for her. In all honesty, she had basically just walked into Aeon's office one day, sat down and chatted to him about absolutely nothing. He didn't even know her name for the first week, at least not unless he'd heard it from the announcements or whatnot. She didn't really know how he felt about her personality, but he seemed to like her enough to invite her to his wedding and that was good enough for her, really.

Hayden arrived at the wedding when Sam got to the manor. He was very well dressed, as she suspected he would be and she quickly gave him the address for where they would be going and then apparated away. He appeared beside her not long after and she smiled up at him. Even in her shoes, Hayden was not as tall as Sammy and so there was a noticeable height difference between them. Not that she minded of course. Kaster's were a tall breed, even the girls. She was quite used to it. They moved into the seating area together and Hayden noted that Aeon was not yet present. He was probably still getting ready. Hayden didn't know much about the other groom. Brodie she thought was his name. Hayden was more of the talker in their friendship, whilst Aeon mostly only got the chance to listen. So whilst he probably knew everything about her and her home life, she knew very little about his beyond the few things he'd gotten the chance to tell her. She was excited to get to learn more about them, either of them.

His sister's hand linked with his, Emmett watched as the world spun around him in a whirlwind of colour, the living room he had once been standing in replacing itself with a clearing surrounded by towering trees. As his eyes focused, the wizard realised he recognised each and every wood from his wand studies. He wondered if Esme could have named them by their bark and leaves, or if her experience working at Ollivanders was limited by the colour of the wood once it had been carved. Unlike he, who studied them out of interest, she only learned about wands enough to give her advantages over people. Still, he enjoyed sharing what he knew with her.

At the gentle pull of his sleeve by his sister, the boy followed after her steps, guided throw the crowd of guests. He didn't know anyone aside from his aunt. Aeon was hidden away somewhere, probably with that filthy mudblood cousin of his that their grandmother had mentioned. Summers he didn't mind, Esme liked him and so did Emeric, but the company he kept he definitely didn't approve of. If he encountered the muggle-born, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to bite back any remarks.

Nodding his head as his sister requested they take a seat, the wizard tightened his hold of her hand as they weaved through guests. There weren't many people their age it seemed, but Esme appeared to recognise the few youths that were present. At least they wouldn't be alone. The Durmstrang boy briefly greeted the girl his sister had spoken to, before taking his own seat and gently smoothing down the collar of his formal robes, their deep plum colour matching with Esme's dress. "I hope there's firewhiskey at the reception." He murmured to his sibling with a hint of a smile. Neither of them were of drinking age, but that wouldn't stop him from trying to slip off with a bottle. Shifting from behind the drawn curtains of a magically erected tent caught his attention. He guessed it was where his cousin was preparing. Hopefully they didn't have long to wait before the ceremony began.

Her son's wedding was supposed to be an exciting event for Katherine. As a mother, she had always looked forward to this day. Once, a long time ago, she had imagined she'd play a vital role, helping organize the ceremony and oversee the catering, giving a lengthy and tearful speech, but instead she was simply a spectator watching her child's life through a closed window. She knew it was her fault, and that he'd only invited her because she was his parent, the one who had brought him into the world. But he wouldn't speak to her, perhaps not even spare her a single glance. The woman wondered what things would have been like if things had played out differently. What if she'd stayed with his father? Well, she knew the answer to that one. He'd be dead, by the hands of her mother. Perhaps even a walking corpse, knowing her. Aeon had become so resentful of her after Alex had left, then Sern not long after. It made matters worse when she'd kicked him out at the behest of Eustacia. At the time she thought she was doing the right thing and protecting him, even if it didn't seem like it, but now she wasn't so sure. She'd lost both her children before they'd even finished school.

With a deep intake of breath, Katherine turned away from the mirror hung upon her hallway wall, not wanting to look at herself any further. She'd spent too much time as it was trying to perfect the braiding of her hair as she twisted it into a tight bun and the woman couldn't stand her reflection for too long. There was nothing to be proud of in that image. Sporting a floor length dress of blue, the woman walked slowly through the hall and into the living room of her home, where the Lancaster siblings waited patiently by the fireplace, the girl straightening her brother's jacket while he stood there looking bored. She didn't expect any of the Lancasters to attend, but apparently Esme got along fairly well with her son, and Emmett followed wherever his sister went. It was strange to think both Aeon and Esme were attending Hogwarts at the same time, just for completely different reasons. She was proud to hear that her boy had become a professor at the academy. He'd always expressed interest in either becoming an Auror or teaching. It brought her comfort to know he was achieving his dreams.

Once the siblings were ready, Katherine took them by the hand and gave one last glance around the room. Adorning a countertop were an array of photo frames. Her son's caught her attention, the most recent one she had and he was only maybe sixteen years old. Now, he was twenty eight. She wondered how much time had changed him before realising she'd soon see for herself. "Ready?"She asked the two. With a nod of confirmation in return, the woman turned on the spot and disapparated, appearing seconds later at the site of the wedding. Her niece and nephew slipped away as she gazed around the area in awe. It really was beautiful. She found her way to her seat, opting to stay toward the back, but close enough to the aisle for a decent view when Aeon started his walk.

Everyone was adding the final touches to each of their outfits and a photographer was taking candid photos of everyone for the wedding Album. Running her fingers through the petals in the basket on her lap waiting for all the guests to arrive, Knowing Aeon there would be a lot of guests showing up to watch the ceremony, Her Mother was busy getting her Uncles ready that she wasn't sure what she had to do, she knew that when the song started playing she would have to lead everyone out of the tent and down the aisle, with so much attention focused on her she hoped she didn't trip on the carpet or forget to drop the petals as she walked or even ran out of petals before she reached the end of the aisle.
Sweeping her long Brown hair over her shoulder she stood up placing the basket in the crook of her Elbow; Wondering if Aeon's parents were going to enter the tent, she didn't know much about them but her Mother had told her that in Traditional weddings the Father of the Bride walked them down the aisle but this was no traditional wedding. The Photographer asked her to stand in position for a photo and she did before being rushed over to stand with her mother for another photo, 'Maybe the Wedding is Starting soon he seems rushed' she thought to herself and if almost on cue a song started playing, Scarlet looked up at her mother who encouraged her and lead her towards the entrance of the tent, the drapes opened and Scarlet saw people in the seats which were originally empty and Brodie, Aeon's future Husband standing waiting for him.

Taking a few steps Forward the drapes closed behind her to hide Aeon from the view of the guests until it was his turn to walk the Aisle. Scattering some Petals as she walked. The walk from the tent to the Aisle wasn't that far but with everyone watching it felt like at least a kilometre and a half. Scarlet approached the red carpet which was the start of the Aisle and she took a deep breath and reached to her basket of Petals, smiling back at the guests who were looking down at her, Petals fell from her hand as she walked down the aisle, she was told to stand on the left which was Aeon's family's side so she quickly had to check which side was left, opposite of where Brodie was standing she presumed she moved off to what she hoped was the left and turned around to watch the rest of the procession approach.

Dallas peeked out of the tent, and watched as all the guested made their way to their seats. Even though she wasn't the one getting married she was a little nervous about standing up their in front of all those people. What if she threw up? That had been happening a lot lately, but that was kind of par for the course in her current condition. Dallas walked back over to Aeon, and grabbed his hands. "The wedding will be starting soon. You are going to be amazing. Just remember it's all about you two today. Nothing, but the fact that you two love each other matters." Dallas told him while squeezing his hands in a reassuring way. A photographer was buzzing around making sure to capture all the moment. It was a little annoying honestly, but she understood that some people would want this documented. Dallas kissed one of Aeon's cheeks, straightened out his flower crown. The music started playing, and Dallas followed Scarlet out of the tent, and down the aisle. She tried to just focus on smiling, and looking forward. She looked over to Brodie who looked like he was just about ready to cry, and smiled even brighter. She was so happy to be part of this, and happy to help two men who would make an amazing family. After what seemed like forever Dallas finally reached the end of the red carpet that was now scattered with petals. On her way passed Brodie she reached out, and touched his arm before taking her place beside his best man.

Watching her Daughter leave the tent she couldn't help but watch, peeking out as she made her way down with the Basket her heart leapt to her throat. One day she would watch her little girl get married, putting her hand on her chest she turned around and looked at Aeon with a smile. 'You're going to make me ball my eyes out at this wedding Aeon' already feeling emotional Kida dabbed just under her eyes she moved next to Aeon touching her hand on his arm she gave him a kiss on his cheek but quickly rubbed off any lipstick that may have transferred before walking past him and collecting her flowers which were sitting on a table, Picking up the bouquet she turned back around her Blue dress sweeping as she walked. Placing her hand on Sern's back she gave him a little push forward to get him ready to walk out. Kida hadn't been to many weddings in her life, but Aeon was her first family member to get married and she couldn't help but feel emotional, standing next to Aeon she rubbed his back 'See you on the other side' she said running her hand down his arm and giving his hand a squeeze.

Moving forward she linked her arm in Sern's and walked out the tent down towards the ceremony, the setting was absolutely lovely and the music played delicately all around them and the lanterns bobbed gently as if on an invisible breeze. Stepping onto the petal covered red carpet she smiled at her family who were there watching the event before them. Giving Sern's elbow a squeeze as they reached the end of the aisle she let go and moved to take her position; giving Scarlet a squeeze on her shoulder she brushed her long brown hair out of her face she looked at Brodie her Future Cousin-in-law giving him a warm smile before looking back up to where Aeon would emerge.
