The Character Spotlight
A special congratulations is awarded to Luciano Rossi, or as we know him as Lizzy
for being our newest character to be added to the Spotlight Hall of Fame! Everyone congratulate her on a job well done on having a well developed character and being noticed by the site staff. Well its safe to say that HNZs very first Acrostic challenge was a huge success with some fantastic entries from the members of HNZ! Although in the end there had to be one winner and that turned out to be Hamza Khalid. Congratulations Hamza on the great entry.
MESSI times!
No rest for the wicked huh? Thats right, MESSI like to keep us on our toes so with that in mind the 23rd Graphics Competition has been opened. This time we would like you guys to create a set of avatars for the Prefects of HNZ to use.
Plagiarism
Yeah, yeah, I know, we already had this update a few times but seemingly people didnt take as much notice of it as they should as there is still some problems of plagerism. HNZ has a very strict no plagiarism policy. You may not copy information from sources and claim it as your own, or your character's. I wont go into it as much as it has been in previous updates but just dont do it, mkay? Got it? Good!
Applications!
Here on HNZ we have a number of different applications that are available for our members to use for whatever reason. Although these applications dont magically approve or deny themselves, oh no! Our very awesome Admin here have to go through each application with a fine tooth comb among other things before they can be approved or denied. So with that in mind a friendly reminder has been given from the Admins that while they say an application should be responded too with, lets say, two weeks; that may not always be the case. So if you do have an outstanding application pending a response; please be patient
Graduation Presentation
For the past few years on HNZ when it comes to the time for Graduation our very own Joyce (Lexi Rodriquez) has been kind enough to make a special presentation for the Graduating class of that year. Unfortunately this year she wont be able to do it for us
but thankfully Hamza has stepped up to the plate for us. So if anyone has a current 7th year, drop Hamza a PM with some details so your character is sure to be included.Galleon Update
Unfortunately there is a slight problem with the Galleon System and as such it has been disabled for the time being. We understand that this is going to cause a few problems but your patience and understanding it requested right now as the problem is worked on.
ACCIO! Hogwarts' Yearbook
The staff of ACCIO! are asking for final submissions for your student characters! Including pictures from special events they attended, their 'year photo', and from any clubs they are a part of. This will be the last call out for pictures and all pictures should be in by the end of the week. Currently, some threads may be closed, this means that the page is already completed and can not be changed.

HNZ Semester 2, Week 4 has begun!
The weeks are flying by, arent they? Well with that being said the fourth week of lessons has started and as such, Professors you should be posting Week 4 lessons. Also Professors please try and keep up with posting lessons on time as it is important that you keep them up to date and that you mark them on time too.
Electives
The time has come for all second years to choose their electives for third year onwards. Within the next few days Heads of Houses should be contacting their second years asking for their elective choices. Second years, please let the Head of your House know what your choices are as soon as possible.
Brightstone Weekend!
Today marks the first Brightstone Weekend of Y10 Semester 2. The forums have been opened for students and the Mall for third years and up. So get your characters down there and have some fun doing whatever it is you crazy kids do these days. Brightstone will be closed once again around the end of the month
The Winds of change!
The winds of change have arrived and with it comes Autumn. Yep, thats right, the seasons have once again changed on HNZ. The start of Autumn also brings March which means were half way through the year and before you know it, itll be Y11
Apparation Exam!

During this Brightstone Weekend there will be a topic posted for the Sixth Years to take their Apparation Exam.
