[Maggi Watties]

Maggi was still more than a little apprehensive about coming to Hogwarts, as it meant saying goodbye to the life on the stage she had known since she was little. Who even was she without competitions to enter and shows to perform in?! But she was here, and she was going to make the best of it. Hearing about an arts room had been the first ray of sunshine in this whole experience, and Maggi hadn't wasted any time in dragging her cousin downstairs to check it out. Hopefully this wouldn't all be bad. Entering the room, Maggi looked around in dismay, missing the studio she had trained in back at home more intensely than ever. But... this would do. She was so distracted by scanning the equipment that she didn't notice for a moment they weren't alone there. "Oh, hey!" She said brightly when she recognised a girl from her dorm already in the room. "Elara, right? This is my cousin, Chip!" She said brightly, stepping closer to the other girl. "What did you come here to do?"

Elara was nervous to explore the castle on her own but also rather curious about what she might find. There were decades of secrets hidden within the walls, and she was hoping to find secret hiding spots that not many others knew about. First, however, she wanted to hit up the conglomerated arts room. The club itself sounded like something she was planning on joining, but the room was open to anyone either way. As she made her way into the room filled with no one, she noticed all the different tools one could use for their chosen discipline. Thankfully, there was an area set up for what she presumed were dancers with a few mirrors. She thought about just dancing for fun, but what she really wanted to do was spending time stretching. Her dorm room was rather crowded and didn't provide ample place to stretch her splits unless she did it on her bed with her legs up against the wall. Even then, she was sure it would bother some of her roommates. She sat down on the floor and started to lengthen her legs when she heard some other students come in, one of which she recognized. "Oh, yeah, hi Maggi!" she said to her roommate. She had seen the boy around because she was pretty sure they were all in Gryffindor, but she couldn't be quite sure. "I'm Elara," she said, introducing herself to the boy. "I was going to get back into the habit of some handstands, round offs, and the like. What about you guys?" she asked. She loved learning what others were talented at and hoped she wasn't in their way.
