There's a tonne of stuff happening on HNZ right now - ministry elections are ramping up with the candidates just announced, Y20 is wrapping up and holiday forums are open, and HNZ will operate a little differently starting in Y21 - but even with all that going on, we still have sorting to open up! So here it is, folks!
Sorting for Y21 is officially open for business. You can have a character join HNZ in one of two ways, either through the sorting process to become a first year or applying to be a transfer student to be in any other year level.
Finally, it's important for everybody to remember that a student entering HNZ in Y21 cannot join roleplays set in the previous school year! Otherwise, feel free to RP around the school, join other people's new threads, and just have a great time.

Sorting is the best way to get to know HNZ if this is your first character with us, it's a simple form and a roleplay then a little bit of a wait (sometimes up to 24 hours, but usually much quicker) while the sorting hat mulls you over. Then it's off to meet your new housemates, buy school supplies, and just figure out the wonderful world of HNZ.

Maybe you've been around HNZ for a while and want freedom to choose elective classes for a character at a high level, or have an established character that you'd love to throw into the mix of the school that just isn't a first year - applying to transfer is the option for you! Note that transferring is an application and you're not guaranteed to be accepted, and the decision about transfers is made after all transfer applications are in just before Y21 begins.
