Slytherin Quidditch Practise

Leda couldn’t help chuckling, sometimes she could have sworn he sounded like Mervyn. She headed off once again, giving it a moment to fly away before going after it

Jai nodded and switched with Sara, taking hold of the quaffle in the process proceeding to fly around the Pitch for a bit. The young boy then began to look for Jasper as he weighed his options between passing and scoring.

Blake flew on, looking around for the snitch. He was still doing better than Leda so far, but he needed to widen that lead. He searched the pitch with his eyes as he flew, hoping for another glimmer of gold.

Leda watched as Jai took to the new position, and hoped he’d be able to work with Jasper to score a few goals. The seekers so far had been the only ones to score, and they needed their chasers to step up too if they didn’t want to end a game at the bottom of the pile.

Sapphire kept close to the seekers, following whichever one the bludgers were heading closer to. She was sorely tempted to just fly out and smack one, but she was on guard duty today.

Leda continued her hunt for the snitch, hoping to balance out the scores with Blake before the end of the match.

Sapphire moved closer to Blake, eying a bludger that was circling nearby.

Blake looked up to see Sapphire flying nearby and frowned, weaving away to try and lose her. She was probably trying to take him out to make Leda look better.

Sapphires brow furrowed as Blake flew away from her. It was fine though, the bludgers werent coming this way. Yet.

Jasper wondered why Leda changed up the chasers, but was happy enough to work together with Jai. He saw the younger boy get the quaffle, and flew closer to follow him in case he needed him.

Sapphire didnt like sitting still and waiting for the bludgers to move. But Leda had given her an assignment and she meant to stick to it.

Leda continued to hunt for the snitch, and hoped that soon the chasers or beaters would be able to do something too.

Having no luck down low, Blake flew high, wondering if the snitch was hiding somewhere above the game.

Sapphires patience was soon rewarded. She kept near Blake and the bludgers seemed to follow him. She quickly got between him and the oncoming ball, hitting it with a firm thwack and sending it flying away towards @Liam Waldgrave .

Blake jumped at the sound of a beater's bat and ducked low, relieved when he looked back and saw the ball flying away from him. He frowned as it hit Liam though. These girls all just wanted to take out the guys playing the game better than them. So sexist. He threw himself back into the search for the snitch, hoping to pull ahead further.

Leda gave Sapphire a thumbs up when she managed to protect Blake from getting hit by the bludger. The girl had always been a constant on their team and she was only ever improving.

Sapphire rolled her neck. The other bludger seemed to be more in Jaspers area so she took off to hang out near him. She was glad she'd managed to keep Blake out of the way for now.

Blake flew up higher, searching around the stands for any glimmer of gold. He had to hurry up and catch the snitch again, wondering how it had managed to disappear so completely.

Jasper was flying around following Jai, but flew up a bit to get a better look of what everyone else was doing. He had lost sight of Blake, and understood why when he felt his foot collide with his head. "Hey!" Jasper said, looking up angrily. "Watch where you're flying!"

Luna trailed behind Jai and Jasper looking for a chance to get the quaffle if Jai took a shot and missed.

Jai had been about to pass to Jasper until the boy managed to collide with Blake. With Luna trailing him, Jai decided to attempt to score. Taking the shot, Jai watched as the quaffle sailed through the right hoop and he inwardly cheered at his success.

Blake didn't even realise who his foot had collided with until he turned, rolling his eyes. Jasper had probably just flown into him on purpose to make him look bad. "You watch where you're going!" He called back. "I have more important things to do!"

Sapphire zipped in next to Jasper, swinging hard and smiling as the bat connected with the bludger and sent it right over Ledas head. Oops. "Sorry!" She yelled.

Leda didn’t see it but she heard two players arguing about colliding with one another, “Pay attention! You’ll be useless chasers if you’re in the hospital wing,” they needed to focus if they wanted to score, “Look, least somebody know what they’re doing!” She yelled, pointing at Jai who’d just scored his first goal. She ducked just in time to avoid the bludger that Sapphire had hit in her direction, and did her best not to retaliate, believing it had been an accident.

Blake scowled, turning away from Jasper to look around again, but he couldnt' see any sign of the snitch. He snorted at Leda's comment, turning back to Jasper. "Yeah, stop being a useless chaser." He teased in a tone low enough for only Jasper to hear.
