Slytherin,PracticeVanity knew there was one only thing stopping her from achieving her goals, and that was the possiblity of a Gryffindor win in the next game. She had called the Slytherins together for an early practice, intending to make it a long one. Once her team had arrived, she released the bludgers. "Let's just get to it." She said. "I want you all to give it your best. Don't just aim for the seekers, though. We do need them to still be alive for the game." She knew the beaters were likely to be aiming for the seeker in the actual game, and that was fine with her, but anyone could be a target during practice, including herself. She blew her whistle and gestured for everyone to get to the air.

OOCOut of Character:
I am still mostly absent, but will try to be around in practice. Feel free to @ me if you need me to interact with anything.

Gaia was VERY proud of the job she’d done during both practice and game in quidditch so far so as she arrived to the pitch she had a very confident feeling about how’d it all go. After Vanity was done Gaia took to the air and headed for her beloved hoops, settling in front of them and keeping a keen eye on all the Chasers.

Alana kicked off and immediately started looking for a bludger.

Gaia kept watching the chasers, wondering if perhaps being a beater would have been more eventful, but then again blocking chasers was fun too.

Alana didn't hit anything.

Sayuri grabbed the quaffle.

Gaia kept her eyes on Sayuri, cocking her head a little to the left as she followed the fourth year carefully.

Zeke mounted his broom feeling pretty happy about the instruction not to just bludger the seekers.

Zeke looked around for the snitch.

Sayuri frowned as her first shot was blocked.

Gaia might as well have been a ravenclaw with the way she was watching the chasers like a hawk. When Sayuri went for a shot she managed to block it and grab the quaffle to throw back into play.

Alana didn't hit anything.

Zeke wondered where the other seeker was at. It'd be good if he decided to drop out of the team.

Gaia kicked her feet back and forth as she waited for someone to take possession.

Zeke stopped near Gaia and winked at her, then flew off to look for the snitch.

As Gaia kept watch of the Chasers their second seeker stopped near her. Glancing his way she clocked the wink he threw her. His name was Zack or something of that sort, Gaia didn’t care enough to remember and given that he’d been the one to go to the Yule Ball with Rosè, leaving Gaia to attend alone she felt extra bitter. Glaring at the boy she flipped him off with a vulgar gesture, instantly feeling better but the glare staying.

Zeke had to double take when Gaia responded with a rude gesture. "What was that for?" He called out.to her.

Gaia narrowed her eyes, still glaring as the seeker questioned what the flipping off was for. Wasn't his job to be looking for he snitch not socialize? "Look the snitch is there!" Was all that she replied pointing towards a direction she'd definitely not seen the snitch in.

Alana didn't hit anything.

Zeke looked at Gaia and laughed, "You won't trick me that easily!" he replied, just as the snitch fluttered past his ear.

Zeke could have sworn he heard the snitch, but he couldn't see it anywhere.

Gaia scoffed at Zinck, Zuke or Zeke, whatever his name was, as he told her she couldn’t fool him just as the snitch whizzed past him. Had he actually focused on his task more rather than done useless socializing maybe he’d catch the damn thing. Shifting her focus back to the chasers she hoped a beater would get a hit in on her classmate.

Alana didn't hit anything.

Gaia yawned and huffed when their beaters didn't hit the seekers and chasers didn't try to score.
