Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y36/S1

Derek pushed forward and the moment he was close enough, he felt the bludger hit him hard in the side. It cause the quaffle to veer towards the goal in completely the wrong way and for the keeper to catch it with ease.

The other chasers were not having much luck as the older boy went for the goal but managed to get hit by a bludger at the last moment. They did know they were meant to be on the lookout for bludgers too, didn’t they? Maddox moved forward to grab the ball, hoping to get a fourth goal before practise was over.

Derek followed the young chaser who had the ball, flying behind him and doing his best to be available to him if he needed the help.

Daintree seemingly now was having a whole lot more luck with the bludgers than he'd been having before. He hit the bludger hard and it went once again sailing towards the chaser with the ball. Though this time it was a different chaser.

@Majora Valentine

Maddox had just tried to throw the Quaffle back into the hoop for a fourth time when a bludger came barrelling into the side of him, pushing him out of the way and causing the Quaffle to miss he hoop by miles. It was what had happened to the other Chaser just moments before and Maddox had been paying attention, how was he meant to throw and watch the bludgers? Maybe he’d have to learn how to throw without looking. He clutched the side of his torso, determined not to show the others how much that hurt, and tried to shake himself free of the pain.

Blake flew on, frustrated that he hadn't seen any sign of the snitch yet. Where had all his luck gone?

Mordred was easily able to catch the quaffle, as it had went wide. He threw the ball into play and towards @Derek Tahana.

Derek noticed that Mordred was throwing the ball to him so he moved to be able to catch it and head to the other goals.

Daintree was surprised with having managed to hit two people with bludgers he didn't mind that his next attempt went completely wide.

As soon as Derek got close enough he threw the ball, but the light throbbing persistent pain of the two bludger hits were definitely affecting his ability to play.

Daintree wasn't sure how the tide had turned so well but he was managing it more. He hit another bludger and aimed it directly for the seeker, pleased when it met its target.
@Blake Irons

Pleased with how the practice had gone, and seeing Blake get whacked, Sapphire decided the team had done enough for the day. "Alright guys, bring it in! Time's up!" She yelled. Once everyone was on the ground again, she gave them all a smile. "We did great out there today- Maddox, good work with the quaffle. Paige, Mo, you guys did great, and Daintree, excellent job with the bludgers today." She looked to the others. "We're going to win this," She told them. "We're strong. Blake," She turned to look at him, giving him a smile. "Anything to add?"

((Practice closes once Rowan is up))

Blake was so focused on his goal that he didn't hear the bludger coming until it was much too late. He cried out as it hit him in the leg, sending him wobbling on his broom. As he righted himself and tried to focus again though, he heard Sapphire calling out, groaning in frustration. Were they really going to have to end things over that?! He scowled but went along with it, not hiding his frown as he joined the rest of the team on the ground. Blake shrugged when Sapphire asked if he had anything to say, glowering at the team as if daring any of them to even try and comment about him not having caught the snitch. "We'll thrash Hufflepuff." He said firmly, giving them all a last, stern gaze before turning to go hit the showers, leaving Sapphire to collect the balls and pack up.
