Seventh Years: Lesson Six

If anyone deserved to be stressed right now, it was probably his NEWT students. Angel hadn’t really put much stock in his final exams when he was in school, but thankfully it seemed most of his class were a bit more responsible than he’d been. He hoped they’d appreciate the time today to study or relax as needed, he knew he was certainly enjoying the break from lessons and grading himself.

Hey guys, free hour today, just do what you need to do. Study, go to the library, nap, cry a little, no judgement,” he said when his seventh years started filing in. After spending time with two young kids, he was starting to suspect a good cry and a nap could solve a lot of problems. “Feel free to enjoy some fresh air outside while you can as well,” Angel added blandly, squinting out at what he could see of the lawn through the greenhouse windows before deciding he was going to relax inside today and let the seventh years get on with it.

Post attendance. All lessons will be open until exams end.

Emmanuel couldn’t quite believe that this was his final week of Hogwarts classes, he still had so much learning to do. He had so much work he needed to get to. He was looking forward to getting more and more specific on the eduction he wanted. He knew it would take time, but the time would pass as quickly as the last seven years at the school. He grabbed the last few things he needed, and headed to the last classes he had at this school.

Emmanuel walked into the herbology greenhouse and took his usual spot in the room. He glanced to the professor as the man told them what they could do that hour in the class. It wasn’t too surprising. He opened his books and began revising what they had covered in that semester of the class. Going over all of it in the time they had in the lesson. Then he packed up his things and left the room.

Rory was glad he wouldn’t need to spend any more time in the greenhouses after their last lesson. Even better news was that their final lesson was a free one, they could go off and study in the library, or cry as he put, he’d give a pass on that one. Rory picked up his bag that he had just dropped and made his way out of the greenhouse to go off and study.

Chaos Zhefarovich the Second looked forward to the end of the school year. After all, it meant that he would be graduating and leaving this place. He knew what he wanted, but did not know the right path to get there. He would eventually. Chaos tossed his bag over his shoulder and grabbed his textbook to head out. Otherwise, if he did not get a move on, he would end up being late. Chaos entered the greenhouse for the last time before the NEWT exam. He settled in his seat and opened his textbook as well as his notes since he knew what today would be. As predicted, they would have a study session. He looked down at his notes and reviewed everything he could while ignoring the little quip about going to go cry. Anyone who cried over the NEWTs would just be weak. He got up and left half way through the hour since he needed some fresh air to clear his head.

Ethan couldn’t believe that the year and especially the last semester had gone so quickly. He took his seat for his last herbology lesson and it hardly felt real. He was almost expecting Professor Castillo to give him a slip of paper that said sorry and that he actually had to repeat the year. But of course that didn’t happen and the professor kept things easy for them and let them loose to spend the class period how they wanted. As badly as he wanted to leave and walk in the forest or something, he sighed and pulled out his notes to study. He needed to do well on his exams and he didn’t want to slack off now that he was so close to graduation.

Penelope had been teary about the school year ending for a week now. She just felt so scared of graduating, even though a part of her was excited too. She was hoping to get a job at the Ministry and she liked the idea of working there as a real professional witch, but she also knew she would miss Hogwarts so much. It was one of her favorite places. The Hufflepuff headed into the Herbology greenhouse and took her usual seat. Professor Castillo told them they were free to study or do whatever they wanted. Penelope opted to study, but decided to stay in the greenhouse to do so. When the lesson was over, she said goodbye to the professor before leaving. It only seemed polite.
