Seventh Year: Lesson 5

Professor Killian Borisyuk had a small pile of parchment in his hand, which might be equivalent to a much larger one if held by normal people. It was full of quizzes for the next couple of weeks, so he separated them out as the seventh years piled in. It would be an easy, quiet lesson for him, so he could not complain. He could work on other things. It would not be long until these students were out in the real world. Either they would succeed, fail, or just survive. Either way, it was no skin off his back nor did he hold any sort of attachments toward the students. Once the seventh years were in, he gestured at the door with his free hand to close it. "Just like I said previously, you will be revising for the remainder of the year over the last six years. Today, you will be going back to your first, second, and third year. Long time since then, so let's not waste time."

Killian stood up from his chair, and passed out the revision sheets one by one, almost as if to remind them of his massive height - even if it was not intentional. "Even though I don't teach the younger years, I have the answers and went over the material myself so if you have questions, I'll be able to answer them. When you are done with your sheets, bring them back to me, and you'll be free to go. There is a fair bit on the sheet about Merlin, so hopefully you all remember that old man." Killian finished passing out the sheets and sat down behind the desk once more. Just as he promised, once they were done, he dismissed the seventh years without homework.

Elio couldn’t wait to finally be out of Borisyuk’s class. He tapped his quill against the desk when he realised they would have a quiz today. It was pretty standard now, he supposed, since they were coming up to their exams and all the professors wants to make sure the students were actually doing their exams. Making sure they were prepared. He wasn’t too worried about this class, but some of the others were definitely giving him pause. It was years ago he’d learned it, but it was still something in the back of his mind. There were no long lectures, thank Merlin, because he was frankly sick of those and if he could never have another one again, it wouldn’t be long enough. He wrote down his answers, and then handed them in, leaving as soon as it was done.

It was so close to the end of the term that Cassius Styx could hardly get himself out of bed to go to class, but he managed to get up, get dressed, ensure his hair looked good, got his perfect badge on, and left the dorm room. Cass had a quiet walk, with his thoughts racing. From one question to another. A part of him did not know what he wanted to do. He could not become a famous Quidditch player. He could not stand flying. He could fight, so maybe he could open a gym. That sounded nice. He dismissed this thought as he made it to the classroom door.

Cass walked in the History of Magic classroom and sat down in his seat. They would have revision for the remainder of the year. So, they had a worksheet for years one through three. Cass received his copy and started to fill it out. Once he was done with it, he turned it in to be graded. It took him most of the period because he forgot a lot of that. He was done though. He left once he was free to.

Terror Zhefarovich hoped that today would go by quickly. He did not want to do much today. He was feeling lazier and lazier as the weeks went on. He got ready in his room, and briefly watched Cassius leave. Terror hated to be early. He would be right on time, if not a little bit late. Terror put on his robes with the badge pinned to the chest. He still wondered how he managed to earn this, but he would not bother to question anymore. He did not really care. He took his bag and left the dorm room to head to the class. Terror entered the History of Magic classroom and sat down next to his cousin. Professor Borisyuk started the lesson with a revision sheet. Terror filled it out, which he had to recall what in the world he learned when he was a youngster. That took a hot minute. He turned it in and left once he had it graded. He did okay, which just meant he needed to study longer and harder.
