"Yeah. I dont like going. I have been once to hospital wing." Grande said mindless touching his arm. "Yeah i am going to need help to pull one off because i really am quite terrible at them."
 
' no joke. Who r u pranking?' asked Ginny, hoping she had met them.
 
"I dont know if you have met them but i am going to try to prank Katie Lovegood. Do you know her?" Grande asked.
 
' I have heard of her but i can't remember meeting her unfortunately. By the way did you say that u were rubbish at quidditch?' asked Ginny already thinking up an idea of how to prank her.
 
"It is so terrible that you havent met her, she is really nice and brave and a pretty"Grande said "I said that because i am just terrible. I cant through very well and small gold things moving very fast i cant see. The only thing i can do is catch but not very well for that matter. Why did you ask?" Grande replied.
 
' what about batting balls. Can't you do that. that's what i do. Any way. What if someone who is good at quidditch takes your body sort of thing - polyjuice potion - and sort of do quidditch and while she's watching you, you go up behing her and say boo or something like that and she'll think you've got a twin and whoever's playing you will come down when the potion wears off.' said ginny trying her best to explain. ' probably a bit complicated eh?Nevermind, i'll think something else up.' said ginny trying to think of something else. :-?
 
Grande laughed. "Just a bit complicated, lets take it down a noch. I dont really have any ideas. I am quite hopeless." Grande sat down on the grass and put his feet in the water. "What could we do that is not too complicated but not to simple." He said. To help him think he layed down on the grass and put his hands behind his neck.
 
'well' said Ginny diving into the water again and staying there for about 3minutes until she found what she wanted. she didn't surface completely. she had the old tyre she had used before and touched grande's feet with it. Then she surfaced to see what his reaction was again.
 
Grande watched Ginny go into the water. He leaned bac down and looked up at the sky. He made a mental note to bring Katie here at one point. Suddenly he felt something at his feet.He quickly stood up "What the..?"He said then when Ginnys head raise above the water he laughed. " See i am so easy to get." He went back to sit down where he been. " What are we going to do to scare Katie?"
 
'that was it but it didn't seem to scare you so there's no point in doing it. well see, you could be swimming her to the centre of the lake near where the lake squid lives and i or anyone could use something like this' as Ginny pulled the old tyre out of the water.'and touch her feet with it. then she'll think it's the squid. what do you think?' asked ginny hoping it would be ok. :huh:
 
"Well i expect that i am practically waiting for some one to attack you. You get used to it." Grande pondered the idea. " I like but we could make a minor arrangement i would sit at the like where i was sitting then you would do your thing and we could scare her like that." Grande said "What do you think?"
 
If you want, you get to miss all the fun in the lake then.' :)) said Ginny happy that he was pleasd with her idea.She dived under to see if there was anything else she could use.
'What do you think the squid's tentacles would feel like? Just curious.' asked ginny went she reaappeared from her diving
 
"Im not a good swimmer. Iam not very confident when it comes to swimming. Well i think it would feel kinda like those things that you suck then stick to your window and when you want them off you have to pull really hard." He sort of knew what it would will feel like but didnt know how to put it into words. "its hard to put into words. I think. Have you got any ideas?" Grande asked
 
'like the suction things.' said ginny and she dived back into the water. it seemed like a decade she was under there looking for something like one. she dived right down to the seabed and found a whole bunch of them lying there. they were totaly stuck to the groung so she got her wand and said a spell that broke them off. She swam back up to the surface and handed what she had found to grande and waited for his approval.
 
He turned the thing over in his hand. They looked the part. They felt the part. "Yes i like them. They are perfect. This will totally get her. Thanks for getting that i know i could never. I dont think i can even swim. I will have learned but i forget things very easily." He said smiling broadly at Ginny.
 
'by the way when are you wanting to prank her?' said Ginny stepping out of the lake and sitting next to Grande.
'it's cold now' Ginny shivered. :)
 
"I dont know. When the best moment occurs." Grande said " Are you cold, here have my cloak. You can use it to get warm." He said as he handed her his cloak.
 
'thanks but i can't take it' said ginny. 'what would katie say?' Ginny made to grab for her wand but it was missing. She stood up straight away to check the ground she was sitting on. it wasn't there.
'Great' Ginny mutterred under her breath. She dived back in the water which was now quite dark in search for her wand. When she reached the botom she start feeling for it. there was a stick. she picked it up and tried to do a spell.
'Lumos' it worked. She started to swim back up when she got her foot stuck.
 
Grande took back his cloak. He watched Ginny dive into the water. He waited for a while. Where is she he thought to himself. Why hasnt she come back yet. He stood up and looked in the lake. He could see a wand light. Ginny must have found her wand but why is she not moving towards me. He said to himself. Im going to have to go get her. He took off his cloak and through it on to the bank. And dived into the water. He was swimming down when he remembered his fear of deep water. I cant go back now he thought to himself.

He pushed on towards her and when he got to her he used his wand to cut the thing holding Ginny down. Grande Was losing breath, if he didnt hurry then they wouldnt make. He made a final push and reached the bank. He put Ginny on the bank not touching the water and got himself before finding his cloak and covering Ginny with it.
 
'thanks,'said Ginny once she had caught her breath back. she started laughing. then she saw Grande's puzelled face.
'Well,you see, you told me you couldn't swim and you just did. looks like you can conquer yours fears better then me anyway.'
Ginny noticed that Grande's coat was on her.
'Hear, you need it more than me.'said Ginny handing the coat back to him.
'it's getting dark. we should go.'
 
"I didnt think about my fear until i was in the water and i could not leave you there. I had to continue. Its just the way i am. I guess i may have conquered a fear." Grande said coughing up water every now and then. When she tired to give it back to him He pushed it away. "No you wear it i dont need it.Here let me give you a hand" He held out his hand to help her up so they could go.
 
Grande pushed the coat back to her and helped her up.
'look, it's your coat anyways so put it on because you're freezing. i don't need it. I'm used to weather like this now.'said Ginny pushing the coat back to him.
' i forgot to tell you this but thank you for rescuing me.'
 
It was true. He was very cold and his clothes were as wet as they could be and his hair was plastered to his face. When she thanked him for saving her he said "You are very welcome but there is no need to thank me. I did what was right and the chances are if it had been the other way round you would have done the same." He began to walk. " I am so wet it looks as though i has been in shower fully clothed." He said this because there were droplets fall from him.
 
' yeah true.' Ginny held her wand up and looked straight at it for about a minute. Then a small fire erupted from it.
'there,' she said handing him the wand. 'you'll warm up.'
 
"Thanks" He took the wand from her and felt warm almost imdetely. "We now know that the lake can be dangerous and always better to be with someone if you get stuck."
