"You've got that right." Bellatrix stated bluntly.

Kiera shrugged. She was giving up worrying about how things were going to go with Jacqueline.

After a minute of silence Bellatrix finally asked softly. "Are you glad...that you met her...?"

 

[Kiera Kaster]

Kiera considered Bella's question. Was she glad she met Jacqueline? Kiera had mixed feelings. She sighed. "Yes and no." Kiera answered with a smile. "Yes because I can get to know the real her without imaging her as something she is not. No because she is not how I pictured her to be when I was little."

 

[Bellatrix Green]

"Oh...do you think she is glad she met you?"

 

[Kiera Kaster]

Kiera didnt know the answer to that question. She shrugged her shoulders. "I have no idea. Your guess is as good as mine. What do you think?" she asked.

"I can't answer that..." Bellatrix mumbled.

 

[Kiera Kaster]

"Hmm. Why not?" Kiera inquired.

"Its just...mother daughter relationships aren't my expertise..."

Kiera nodded her head in agreement. "Dont worry. They arent mine either." she answered truthfully.

"Complicated...." Bellatrix muttered.

Kiera smiled. "You got that right." she said frankly.

 

[Bellatrix Green]

"Are you excited for the ball?" she suddenly asked.

 

[Kiera Kaster]

Kiera grinned. "Actually I am. I have never been to a dance with a date. I am really excited. I think I will have fun." she answered.

 

[Bellatrix Green]

"I am happy for you." Bellatrix said truthfully.

 

[Kiera Kaster]

"Thanks." Kiera said with a grin. "I wish you were going." she added ruefully.

 

[Bellatrix Green]

"I know you do..." Bellatrix said softly. "But its just not the palce for me..."

 

[Kiera Kaster]

Kiera smiled. "Maybe next year.." she said hopefully.

 

[Bellatrix Green]

"Yeah..maybe..." she mumbled back.

 

[Kiera Kaster]

Kiera smiled at Bella. "So what are you doing over the summer? If you wont come visit Jacqueline with me you can at least come to my house." she said.

"Nothing...and like I said...I would feel just fine saying at the school..."

 

[Kiera Kaster]

Kiera rolled her eyes. "You might be fine but I get bored." she said.

 

[Bellatrix Green]

"Well take Bruin with you..." she said not truly caring.

 

[Kiera Kaster]

"Is that what this is all about?" Kiera asked. Was Bella jealous?

"What do you mean?" she mumbled.
