Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y51/S1

Hinemoa stayed high, scanning the sky above her fellow players, but didn't see any sign of the snitch.

Lucy was relieved to see Lilith smile, glad she hadn't hurt the younger girl too badly, and resumed her search for a bludger.

Lilith swooped a little lower, considering the possibility that the snitch may have hidden somewhere lower this time around.

Rose yelped as she was hit by bludger on the hip. She'd seen it coming but couldn't get her bat in the right place fast enough to protect herself. Tears welled in her eyes, it was the first time she'd been hit since joining the team and it certainly stung more than she thought it would.

Lili glanced Rosé's way when the younger beater was hit. She was too low now to go back up just to check on he girl, but Lilith hoped she was okay. She'd check up on her later.

Rose wasted no time getting back into the swing of things after being hit, promptly sending another bludger straight for @Theodore Harper, hoping he'd drop the Quaffle.

Hinemoa flinched at the sound of bludgers striking people left and right, heading to the far end of the pitch well above the rest of her teammates.

Lili kept looking with very little luck.

The bludgers were really starting to fly. Julio made a mental note to keep an eye out as he continued searching for the snitch.

Lilith saw a glimmer of something in the distance and started flyinn towards it, sure it wasn’t just a trick of the light this time as it disappeared behind another player. She started weaving her way through calmly.

Hinemoa spotted Lilith travelling with purpose and flew after the older girl curiously.

Eager to keep her roll going Lucy shot towards another bludger and hit it towards the nearest chaser this time. @Cyrus Thorne

Rose was enjoying her flight with the other beaters, watching them hound the other players time and time again. Hufflepuff didn't stand a chance.

just as theo got close to the hoops and threw the quaffle, he felt himself get hit by the bludger but that didn’t stop him from managing to score a goal.

Lilith was so close to the glimmer, only to realize it hadn’t disappeared behind another player… it was just that whistle around Lucy’s neck…

it was surprising when he spotted another glimmer of gold. The first year leaned forward, heart in his throat as he picked up speed to catch up to the snitch. With a huff he once more had the golden ball clutched in his hand. That was four. He looked at it for just a moment, holding it up in his palm silently before uncurling his fingers and letting it fly off again.

Rose looked around for another bludger so she could take another whack at Julio.

Lili noticed Julio get his fourth catch of the practice, she could only hope she was saving her own catches for the real deal. That was after all all that mattered to her, practice catches were nice but when it came down to the game day that was where the real pressure waited.

Maggie was glad to hit a bludger when she saw it come back at her quickly. Unable to move out of its way or hit it, it hit her in the side.

Maggie shook off the hit and went after the bludger, missing when she swung at it.

Maggie twirled her bat and hovered for a moment, rubbing her side from the most recent bludger hit. She saw a bludger nearby and decided to fly after it, swinging and missing once again.

Feeling pretty good with himself, Julio lazily circled the pitch. Maybe he could make it five catches. That would certainly prove that he deserved to be on the team.

Lilith made her way over to the other side of the pitch, even if she only had one catch so far she didn’t feel too antsy anymore. She’d been in the team since her second year and a permanent member since her third, it didn’t matter if her practice wasn’t the best as long as she showed up and made up for it during game she’d be fine.
