Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y51/S1

Magne rushed to the hoops and threw the ball, disappointed when he hit the side of the right most hoop and the quaffle bounced back without going in.
 
Julio saw nothing as he continued looking.
 
Lilith was losing hope, she was looking high and low but nothing was coming her way. Just as she was about to lower herself down to the ground and take a break she saw it. It was a glimmer on the other side of the pitch. Without hesitation the prefect accelerated her broom and flew towards the glimmer. There was no way it wasn't the snitch. The wind was whizzing in her ears as Lilith made her way towards the snitch and at a short distance away she smiled, feeling the excitement. As she closed her fist around the snitch and then looked at it, just to make sure, she felt a weight being lifted off her shoulders. "Put me on the board cap!" She exclaimed with glee, showing everyone the catch before reluctantly letting go. The adrenaline was still running rampant in her blood as she settled on her broom.
 
He lifted his head as he watched the older girl catch the snitch for the first time. It was about time, as far as he was concerned. Honestly he was almost starting to think that he was going to be the only one who could do his job this practice. Though he didn't let that thought out of his own head, instead just offering the older seeker a smile as he flew past.
 
Rose grinned as Lilith caught the snitch, oblivious for a moment as she was distracted from where the bludgers currently were. It was only when one whizzed past her broom enough to cause a ripple to her robes that she realised she needed to be paying attention at all times.
 
Lilith was just glad she'd gotten a catch as she returned to her search.
 
Maggie was excited to see her roommate finally catch the snitch when she heard another whizzing. This time it was an actual bludger. She went after it, whacking it hard at @Violet Owens-Rosemary and smiled as it hit her target.

Lilith continued her search for the snitch, still feeling good about having caught it.
 
Maggie grinned as she hit her target and watched as the other bludger came her way. She whacked it towards one of the seekers but grimaced as it went towards @Cyrus Thorne instead.

Lili watched as Maggie hit another bludger at someone and was glad her roommate was finding her groove.
 
Circling near the stands he thought he saw something for a moment, but huffed when he realized it was nothing but a reflection.
 
Maggie was glad to get some more hits in. She hovered on her broom, waiting for a moment before heading back out in search of a bludgers.
 
Hunching lower again his broom, Julio dipped closer to the ground. Maybe the snitch was hiding down here.
 
Rose was impressed she had yet to be hit by a bludger, because everyone else had. As Maggie was busy hitting one bludger after another, Rose lined up another smack of her own. Before hitting Cyrus she could see the beater had been aiming for a seeker, so redirected the ball straight back to @Julio Santana.

Julio wasn't ready for the second bludger, barely managing to turn to it sideways before it hit him full in the chest. Instead, it managed to clip his leg. But that didn't mean it didn't hurt, gritting his teeth as he bent over to rub at the sore spot. Bludgers really did suck.
 
Rose grimaced as she hit the boy in the leg, hoping he wasn't too hurt. "Sorry!" She called out, before turning to hunt down another bludger.
 
Maggie saw Rose hit another bludger toward their new seeker and gave her a thumbs up of encouragement. Sure, it sucked to be hit by one, but that was part of the game. She searched the skies for another bludger.
 
Theodore got a hold of the quaffle once it was thrown back into play, doing a lap before making his way back to the hoops.
 
Still feeling a sting in his leg, Julio huffed, taking a moment to try and compose himself before he continued his search.
 
After a quiet spell, Lucy was pleased to see her team kicking into gear so thoroughly. She whooped in joy for Lilith's catch, then cheered as she saw her fellow beaters making some waves. Holding her bat tight she flew after the bludger that had ricocheted off Julio's leg and swung, sending it flying straight into @Lilith Ilves

Hinemoa knew she shouldn't be let down by Lilith beating her to the snitch - she was way older and had way more experience, but it felt humiliating now being the last seeker without a catch on the board, especially when Julio was so much younger than her. Gritting her teeth she dedicated herself to the search even harder, hoping to break her losing streak soon.
 
Maggie watched as a bludger hit Lilith and then came straight for her. She quickly gripped her bat and hit the bludger haphazardly, watching as it sailed into one of her fellow beaters. @Rose Glass
