Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y49 S1

Lilith thought she saw a shimmer in the distance so she sped towards it but was utterly disappointed by the amount of air and lack of snitches around her.
 
Demi glanced to the other players, hoping she'd be a better player if she was more aware of her teammates.
 
Lilith thought that maybe she could do something more productive while the snitch was playing hide and seek, so she started reciting the laws of transfiguration and its limitations as well as every potion ingredient used in boil cure potion, in the correct order of when they are added.
 
Lilith continued doing her mental recitings this time reciting the recipe of Hair Raising Potion.
 
Demi wasn't sure if Lilith was seeing the snitch or not, but she was glad it wasn't that ball she had to keep an eye on herself.
 
Lilith looked around the pitch at her teammates, wondering if they were having more success than she was.
 
Audrey wasn't, she'd used all her luck up early it seemed.
 
Demi was, but only because the chasers hadn't tried to score another goal yet.
 
Lilith wondered where the snitch had gone, could she yell and ask her teammates? Leave a missing person poster? Accio it? Definitely not, so she just sighed and hoped others were having more luck soon.
 
Demi knew that she needed to stay alert for the benefit of her teammates. The more she could keep guarding the hoops the more likely they were to score goals and catch the snitch, she hoped.
 
Lilith looked for the snitch but all she got was empty air.... sigh
 
Audrey caught up to a bludger and hit it right at @Lilith Ilves . Rough, but it was part of the deal with being a seeker.
 
Lucy winced as she got hit - by Audrey no less. She hoped it wasn't a purposeful shot, but couldn't imagine why it would be. She recovered quickly, grabbing the quaffle and heading for Violet's side.
 
Audrey whistled to herself as she flew after another bludger.
 
Lucy threw the quaffle, getting it through the hoop and giving herself a small 'whoop!' in celebration.
 
Demi leapt to protect the goals but cursed as Lucy still managed to score. In her defence the girl had been playing for years.
 
Demi was alarmed by the number of bludgers being thrown around by Audrey. At least she wouldn't be a target as Keeper, right?
 
Lilith made to dodge the bludger speeding towards her but her efforts were in vain as the ball made contact. Letting out a quiet wince the seeker gave a smile and thumbs up to the beater before continuing on her task.
 
Demi wasn't sure if she'd seen correctly; had Lilith just smiled at the beater who'd hit her? The third year braced herself for the chasers, determined not to let another goal through next time.
 
Lilith had indeed smiled at Audrey but her smile didn't live for long as there seemed to be an issue. Clearly someone forgot to release the snitch......
 
Demi adjusted herself on her room, getting more stable so she'd be ready to dart either direction.
 
Audrey was on a roll, catching up to another bludger and figuring she'd aim this one at the other Lucy to even things up. It instead slammed into @Theodore Harper . She hoped everyone was starting to feel right at home on the Quidditch pitch. By being bruised repeatedly. Her parents would be so proud.

...actually, she reasoned, they'd probably complain about her aim.
