Lucy was excited for another year of quidditch. In truth, she'd signed up initially on a whim but now it was one of her favourite ways to let off steam. She stood on the pitch next to the other Lucy with a bright smile on her face. "Alright, team! Welcome to Demi and welcome back to returning players. This year is our chance to finally get back at the other teams!" Lucy was specifically thinking about Gryffindor but winning against all the teams in general was the dream. "They don't stand a chance if we put in the work, and I know you all will. We have two keepers this time round, so chasers, spread out and take a shot at scoring both ends of the pitch. Beaters, don't hold back. Lilith, I know you've got this - that snitch is yours! Alright team, let's get to the air and get some practice in!"

 

[Lucy Holland]

Lucy listened to Lucy starting the practice off, brimming with excitement for the year to come. "Practice hard, but don't forget to have fun!" She added cheerfully before taking off with the rest of the team, bat twirling comfortably in her hand.

 

[Lilith Ilves]

Lilith was happy to be back on the team, this time with a permanent spot. She gave a smile to her captains and nodded, determined to do her best. Blonde Lucy's words of encouragement made her feel better, that they still believed in her and she took her broom and shot up to the sky in search of the snitch.

 

[Demi Zephyr]

Demi grinned at Lucy as the captain welcomed her to team. She was so excited to be playing she didnt even mind being in a close proximity to Lilith. Perhaps it would be a bonding experience. The brunette took to the air, and quickly made her way toward one set of hoops.

 

[Magdalene Grey]

Maggie was glad to be back on the team, even as an alternate. She was excited for Lilith to have a permanent spot and hoped she'd someday feel the same pride when a spot opened up in the beaters. Taking to the sky, the Ravenclaw grasped her bat and looked around for the bludgers.

 

[Lilith Ilves]

Lilith kept flying around the pitch looking for the snitch, it was kind of a surreal feeling knowing she'd never have to do the try out process again. That the spot was her now for good. However the snitch was not feeling like like being found yet.

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey nodded and mounted up, aiming to give Lilith a warm welcome to the starting lineup with a bludger hit. Instead, @Demi Zephyr was given the welcoming bludger. Well, that was one way to get going.

 

[Lucy Holland]

Lucy was pleased to see Audrey already on form, circling round the pitch towards a bludger. She swung hard, disappointed when her first hit of the year flew wide of her teammates. What had happened to the run of demolishing other players she had had in third year?

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey followed up with another swing, but apparently Lilith was really good at dodging. That, or her aim was off. She preferred to think it was the former. Lilith's gain was @Lucy Montague 's loss, and she winced as her friend got hit. Hopefully it wasn't too hard.

 

[Magdalene Grey]

Maggie saw Audrey already off to a good start and tried going after a blister herself, missing. She frowned and looked for another one.

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey didn't see any bludgers in the immediate vicinity and flew around a bit, looking for more. Maybe she should try out for a team when she graduated, she thought. She seemed to be hitting her stride. Almost literally.

 

[Lilith Ilves]

Lilith kept looking for the snitch with no success.

 

[Theodore Harper]

theo was glad to be back for another year at quidditch. theo listened to the captains before taking up into the air. theo got a hold of the quaffle, circling around and heading towards the hoops.

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey chased after a bludger.

 

[Lilith Ilves]

Lilith kept looking for the snitch with little success. She stayed patient, keeping her attention on the task.

 

[Theodore Harper]

when theo was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoop, frowning in disappointment when he missed

 

[Demi Zephyr]

Demi couldn't believe she'd been hit by one of the prefects bludgers, when all she was doing was staying close to the hoops. Her eyes watered as she tried to keep focus.

Lilith kept her eyes out for the bludgers and snitch, one of those were more common than the other to come by though.

 

[Demi Zephyr]

Even though it wasnt one of the speedy positions, Demi still felt the adrenaline of being in the air as she guarded the hoops.

 

[Audrey Beauchamp]

Audrey sent a bludger off towards nobody.

 

[Lilith Ilves]

Lilith stopped her search for a bit to look at what the rest of the team was doing since the snitch was nowhere to be found at the moment anyways.

 

[Theodore Harper]

theodore circled around as he waited for one of the other chasers to have a go with the quaffle.

Lilith continued her search of the snitch, looking around for any glint of well pretty much anything but all she saw was nothing.

 

[Violet Owens-Rosemary]

Violet was ecstatic to finally have her place on the team. As the captain let them all get to practice, Violet shot into the air and made her way to the hoops. There was no way she was going to let anything through them. She blocked a shot as it headed towards her and threw the quaffle back out into play.

 

[Demi Zephyr]

Demi's eyes were fixed on the quaffle, waiting for the moment one of the chasers came her way.
