Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y48/S1

Maggie heard a bludger whizz past her head and went after it.

Audrey flew about in her own little world, drowning out her father's angry yelling about focus she could hear in her head whenever she played.

Thinking she heard the snitch Lilith felt excited, only to be disappointed by the fact that she would not catch it.

Audrey caught up to a bludger, but when she hit it it didn't really go anywhere.

Audrey wondered what bludgers were thinking, seeing as they seemed to have minds of their own half the time.

Theo got a hold of the quaffle once it was thrown back into play and circled around the pitch before making his way back to the hoops

Audrey did some more practice swings, humming a tune she had stuck in her head.

When Theo was close enough to the hoops, he threw the quaffle towards the left hoop, disappointed it didn't go through...

Audrey twirled her bat like a baton. At least, she tried to. She fumbled after a couple of twirls and idly pretended like she'd totally meant to do that.

Lilith saw a glint of gold and leaned into her broom following the tricky little thing. As she got closer and closer she could hear the snitch and her heart started pounding as she reached her arm out, only a few inches more. Her fist closed around the golden ball and the second year let out a triumphant yelp. "I got it! I caught the snitch!" Lilith announced, a feeling of pride and excitement washing over her body.

Audrey gave a thumbs-up and whacked a bludger towards the younger seeker in 'celebration'. Luckily, it missed.

Lilith's eyes widened as the older Beater whacked a bludger towards her, letting go of the snitch she dodged and stuck her tongue out at the girl before settling back on the broom and kicking back into searching. The snitch was quick and Lilith had already lost sight of it.

Maggie was glad to see her roommate catch the snitch, but all this Ravenclaw wanted to do was hit a bloody bludger.

Lilith kept looking for the snitch in hopes of catching the thing again, but had no luck.

Lili saw a bludger approaching, but it was too late already and she felt the contact on her side. Letting out a small wince the second year looked who had hit her and instantly smiled. "Good one Maggie! Keep at it!" She yelled feeling more proud than upset about being hit. Lilith got back to her search for the snitch but was not successful.

Audrey snorted with laughter as she looked for more bludgers to hit.

Lilith failed to catch the snitch, not that this was any surprise.

Maggie had not outright intended to hit her roommate, but either way, it was a hit. She smiled back at Lilith and then kept looking for another person to surprise.

Lucy cheered for Lilith, excited she'd managed to make a catch. She quickly turned her attention to retrieving the quaffle and lining up a shot. She just had to get this one in.

Lilith didn't catch the snitch.

Audrey's thoughts drifted once more.

Lucy did a small fake out, before throwing the quaffle, the ball sailing through the middle hoop. Lucy was pleased.

Still no snitch but hey it could have been worse at least she had caught it once already. Not that she was keeping score but they were definitely Lilith 1 and the snitch 0.

Theo cheered for the older chaser as she managed to get a goal. The youngest chaser got a hold of the quaffle once it was thrown back to play, before circling around the pitch before making his way back to the hoops.
