Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y46 S1

Ambrose was about to see if he could somehow manage to steal the quaffle from the older chaser when something suddenly slammed into his shoulder. He was knocked off course a little and made sure to hold on tightly while he steadied his broom again, grimacing at the ache in his shoulder that started almost immediately. Not a fan of bludgers, noted.

Lucy tried to throw the quaffle but missed spectacularly.

Michael wondered if maybe he'd said the wrong thing. "Uh, I was only kidding," he quickly said, throwing the quaffle back into play. "Yell out if any of you need a break, alright?" They didn't have a whole lot of time left, so hopefully they'd all be able to make the most of it. But he didn't want to push them too hard. It was only school quidditch, after all.

Audrey chased after a bludger. Breaks were for quitters and losers, according to her dad anyway.

Ambrose tried to shake off the bludger hit and caught the quaffle when Michael threw it back out.

Ambrose missed his shot at the hoops.

Savannah did not catch the snitch.

Michael was getting a bit tired himself, but he would keep pushing on for just a little longer.

Audrey missed her targets.

Rory grabbed the quaffle when it was thrown back into play and went to score again and was successful.

Audrey sighed, swinging and missing.

Michael was feeling pretty good about the game coming up, definitely liked their chances against Slytherin. He tossed the quaffle back into play.

By contrast, Audrey was not feeling good about it at all.

Ambrose caught the quaffle and flew to the other side of the pitch.

Ambrose made another shot and was relieved to finally see the quaffle sail through a hoop again. He knew he was only a first year and there were many more experienced chasers around but that didn't mean he shouldn't give it his all.

Michael was definitely feeling good about their chasers, Ambrose was only a first year but showed a whole lot of skill already. "Just a few more minutes, guys, keep it up!" he called, in case the others had lost track of time.

Audrey paled as she realized training was nearly over and she hadn't even managed to hit a bludger on target. What was wrong with her today?

Michael wondered what the best tactic for Slytherin was. Probably stopping their beaters.

Audrey swung wide.

Audrey swung...narrow?

Michael blew his whistle, bringing the training session to a halt. "Alright everyone, good hustle today. If we play like that against Slytherin we should have no problems." He gestured for the team to follow him down to the ground for warm down stretches and water, before letting everyone go for the day.

OOCOut of Character:
