Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y40 S2

When Bran was close he threw the ball and was disappointed when it didn't go in.
 
Valeria was pleased when she managed to hit a bludger, she'd intended to send it towards the seeker but instead sent it towards the chaser that had just scored.

Xiuying caught the quaffle once it was thrown back out, making her way down to the hoops.
 
It looked like Branson missed his shot this time, and took a bludger for it too, which sucked, but Sawyer had to pay attention again as Xiuying took the quaffle and started heading his way.
 
Juniper was not doing too hot all of a sudden but kept her spirits up.

Practice will end on Tuesday (roughly 72 or less hours) so get those posts in!
 
When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle towards the middle hoop but completely missed.
 
Sawyer made a maneuver that he could only really describe as a flail as Xiuying made her shot. She did miss, but he wasn't sure if his very talented flailing had helped or hindered the shot in any way.
 
Juniper finally saw a bludger within reach and hit it hard towards @Finn Madison , since he'd had it seemingly easy this practice.

Sawyer watched as Juniper hit a bludger towards Finn, briefly wondering if Finn might hit it back before remembering Finn's usual track record with bludgers.
 
Branson grabbed the ball when it was thrown back out.
 
Valeria failed to hit the bludger.
 
Xiuying followed closely behind the other chaser, just in case she had the chance to steel the ball.
 
As soon as Branson got close he threw the quaffle and was pleased to watch it go in.
 
Valeria didn't manage to hit the next bludger as it approached her.
 
Juniper quickly saw her opportunity for another hit and went after it for a moment, before making contact. It sailed straight into @Axel Zhefarovich II and she felt pretty satisfied.

Privately, it was kind of nice to see their other keeper taking bludgers and missing goals. Not because Sawyer wished Axel any ill will, it was just nice to know they were on even footing.

Musing time over, Sawyer squared up as Xiuying had the quaffle again, headed his way.

It seemed like almost everyone had taken a bludger shot, but that didn't make it any easier when Axel was hit right in the side as he was trying to keep alert. He winced as he tried to straighten back onto his broom after that hit. That was definitely going to leave a mark.
 
Finn's luck had taken a turn for the worse and he was drifting aimlessly when he heard a bludger approaching far too late. He turned just int time for the ball to hit him, giving a weak 'oof!' in pain.
 
Sawyer ducked low to block Xiuying's shot, nearly catching the quaffle with his face when it flew higher than he'd expected. Readjusting his grip, he smiled sheepishly as he threw it back into play.
