Ravenclaw,PracticeJoshua carried one of the school's broomstick over his shoulder as he arrived at the quidditch pitch bright early one morning. The first game of the new school year will be in a few weeks with their house team going up against Slytherin. If this wasn't the perfect time to practice then his thinking was off. He hopes that wasn't the case and his team would agree, and made an attempt to join him this morning. Joshua placed the broomstick on the ground and went into the equipment shed to get what they needed. Joshua returned carrying the heavy trunk and set it down in front of the broomstick. Joshua hugged the quaffle ball under his arm and took off around the pitch to get the ball rolling.

Alexis arrived shortly after Joshua took off with the quaffle. The first game will be in a few weeks and this time, with them leading the team. Mounting her broom, she kicked off, following after Joshua to take turns with the quaffle. "Hey, Josh!", she greeted her best friend. She flew around as she attempted to practice the moves she learned from Adalric over summer. Just a short distance back on the ground, she saw the other team members coming into the pitch. She signaled to Joshua that the team was now complete and that they should head back down to greet them.

Chloe arrived to the pitch promptly for her first team training as an official beater, not just as an alternate. This would certainly be fun, and she hoped to show her new captains what she had. She noticed that both of them were already up in the air, but since she was one of the first people to get here she wondered if she had to go up in the air with them or wait. From her experience of last year, Chloe just decided to stay on the ground until the caps gave her some instructions.

Joshua cranes his neck to see he wasn't alone up in the air, he nodded his head in greeting to his best friend and co-captain. "Hey Alexis," the teen swiftly pass the quaffle over. Between him and Alexis, Alexis had a better aim at scoring. Joshua will keep in mind to try and pass the quaffle to Alexis as much as he can during their official games. Joshua turns his head back round to see one of their newer beaters arrived. "Ah Chloe, right? Grab a bat, and join me up here," soon the rest of their team came for practice. "Everyone in their usual position, Lars guard the other hoops. One beater tries to hit us, Chloe, and Zoe, tries to stop it. Um, Minnie is on the lookout for the snitch. Chasers, all hoops are fair game, Simon you know what to do," Joshua tries his best at delegating. It's hard when there weren't that many alternatives to practice with, which means they were screwed if one of them gets knocked out during a real game. He really hopes that doesn't happen for them this year.

Lars was both relieved and a little sad that he was still an alternate on the team. He hadn't expected anything else, but it was a little sad to be the only alternate on the team. Partly because he knew he would have to play any position that was needed during a game if someone was taken out. The boy made his way to the Quidditch pitch and gave his captains a small wave. He waited quietly for the practice to begin, and then took to the air to guard the hoops Joshua had assigned him. He hovered in front of the hoops, keeping an eye out for the chasers.

Simon arrived at the quidditch pitch, he was ready to get in the first practice of his final season of quidditch. he was looking forward to the fun that he was about to have in this year. He of course was keen to win, but he was more than sure that he'd manage just fine. He hadn't been on the team long but he knew he was good. He greeted the captain - his friend as he arrived on the pitch and listened as he gave them the instructions of what they were to do. It wasn't too difficult to know what he was about to do and he was keen to get to it, so when told to he got on to the broom and flew over to the hoops ready to defend.

Minnie felt the heavy pressure on her shoulders to do well in school. She knew that she needed to work harder at her quidditch, her parents had been disappointed when she hadn't managed to catch the snitch one in all of the matches in the last semester and they had been pretty clear that she was to improve in this semester. But it wasn't her fault if she was the youngest seeker and had to work twice as hard as the others. Her parents didn't accept such excuses. she just needed to be better. Minnie had her broom in hand as she got to the pitch. She looked towards the captain with a determined look on her face. She didn't bother looking at anyone else. She was focused and determined that she would improve in this practice and they would then go on to win. Minnie was just ready to get started. So she shot up into the air when she was supposed to and began looking for the snitch.

Chase had been thrilled to learn he had made the Quidditch team but he knew the pressure would be on for him to perform now he would be watched by his older brother. He made his way down to the pitch for the first practice and walked out to where his teammates were already gathering and getting ready to start. "Hey guys,"

((Sorry I've been staying with family with really bad wifi, only just got home!))

Zoe was beyond excited to get back to the Quidditch pitch for a practice. For something she had only picked up as a hobby, Zoe was beginning to realise she would miss Quidditch a lot once she graduated. She loved the feeling of soaring through the air, and working together with her teammates. Hurrying down to the pitch with her bat in one hand and her broom in the other, Zoe was shocked to see how quickly Josh was getting things going. Diving onto her broom, she kicked off quickly and took to the sky once his speech was over, a little embarrassed to have missed the beginning of practice.

Alexis hovered down low enough to greet the team, glad all made it just in time. She listened as Joshua gave the instructions, knowing her best friend handled it well. They shot back up to the sky, Simon and Lars taking in positions as Keepers. Josh had already passed her the quaffle which she had now tucked under her elbow. She tossed it to Chase, allowing the boy the chance to get it past the keepers.

It was so unlike him to give orders and demands to someone other than himself, but if he was going to be co-captain he might as well try and give it his all. "Hey, Chase, welcome to your first practice," he nodded towards the younger boy then went flying around the pitch. "I guess I can go up against you two," he motioned over to Alexis and Chase. That's going to be interesting to see, maybe not for him but for someone who decided to see the team practice.

Chloe nodded as soon as Joshua instructed the team on what to do, though she was a little surprised at how quickly he seemed to be speeding things up. She mounted her broom after grabbing a bat and kicked off the ground, immediately in search for bludgers. She observed the other, much more experienced beater for a few minutes before she spotted a bludger, and went straight for it with a big swing of her arm. Unfortunately though, she missed the hit and she cursed under her breath.

Minnie began to chase something that seemed like a snitch was was not in fact a snitch. She just pressed on looking as she went around the pitch.

Simon was ready, he was ready to block the quaffle from going into the goal. He would manage it just fine. The teen knew he had to be the best and how important it was to do well in this practice.

Alexis winked playfully at Joshua when he suggested that she and Chase played against Joshua. "Sure, though it would seem unfair since it would be two against one.". she pointed out. She nodded at Chase encouragingly. "Go for it, Chase.", she pointed to Simon's side. "Why not try it past Simon?", she suggested.

As the practice began Zoe flew close to Minnie to start with, knowing she needed a bit more practice defending. She stayed near the seeker, looking to bat away any bludgers that came near.

2a.

Joshua stole the quaffle from Chase and flew in the opposite direction. "I think I can handle it," Joshua mused, for now, he thought in silence. He eyed Lars making it obvious he was heading in the boy's direction.

Flying alongside the seeker, Zoe gripped her bat tight and kept a look out for any nearby bludgers.

Minnie knew she needed to improve, and so she set off for the snitch, hoping to get better at finding it and quicker at catching it.

Lars watched as Joshua headed over to him. He felt a little nervous, and hoped he could block his shot even if he doubted that he could.

Zoe sped up as Minnie did, doing her best to stay close to the seeker and keeping an eye out for any approaching bludgers.

Simon knew how important it was to stop anyone from scoring, so he kept his gaze on the ball, and concentrated hard.

Minnie was somewhat pleased with the beater that seemed to be flying next to her, she knew it would be useful to have a little extra protection even if this was just a practice.

Chloe continued to search for those stupid bludgers, but she wasn't having any luck.

2a and b??

Joshua, surprisingly still had the quaffle. He aimed his shot at one of the hoops Lars was guarding. Unfortunately, his luck ran out. He didn't make it in. "Great catch, Lars," Joshua comments with a smile.
