Quidditch Practice continued

Blake continued smiling brightly, lost in Lily's eyes. Then a thought struck him, so acting on it, he took Lily's hand into his and said, "Do you... want to be my girlfriend?"
 
Lily's mouth dropped when she heard the words that Blake spoke. She was speechless. This is what she had been hoping for, and now it was actually happening! "Yes." was all she could say, just barely above a whisper. Her eyes shone, still not ready to believe this was real.
 
Blake laughed happily when she answered, evidently more suprised than he was that he really did like her enough to want to be ith her. "Well then girlfriend," Blake said teasingly, "how would you like to share a blueberry muffin with me?" Bending down, he reached into the basket and pulled out another zip-lock bag, containing a blueberry muffin, he reached in and divided it into even halves. Handing one to to Lily, he took a bite of his own.
"I'm sorry, kissing and eating don't go too well together," he said with another laugh after having gulped down the last of his half of the muffin.
 
Lily blushed as Blake called her girlfriend. She took the half of the offered muffin from him, and smiled. "Thanks boyfriend. I love blueberry muffins." She took a bite of her muffin and almost choked on it, from wanting to laugh at Blake's kissing comments. "Good thing then that I have a mouthful!" she teased. She ate the last of her muffin and then reached up and brushed a crumb off of Blake's chin.
 
Blake laughed even harder as Lily choked a bit on her muffin, but then stopped immediately realising it wasn't polite for him to laugh at a choking person. "Are you alright?" he asked her, rubbing her back as he did so. "I thought you'd like blueberry muffins," he added with another wide smile.
As Lily brushed a crumb off his chin, Blake couldn't help but blush a little more. He was still adjusting to this and all the while, was finding it rather like absentmindedly dreaming while he was still quite awake. With a dazling landmark, he swooped in and kissed her lightly on the cheek. Wavering slightly whether to pull away after another moment or not.
 
Lily could not believe this was really happening. When Blake kissed her cheek, she thought she was in heaven. She placed her hand on his arm while he was kissing her, and held him close to her. She was still shocked that this was actually happening.
 
Blake finally pulled away feeling rather idiotic, a warm smile lifted his expression. "Sorry about that," he added.
 
Lily smiled at Blake. "There is nothing to be sorry about. So, now what? More food or more flying or do you have a better idea, boyfriend of mine?" She felt like she was in a dream world, and going to wake up any time.
 
Blake laughed at the mention of boyfriend, "Well, I dunno. We could do a little bit of both, because sadly I do not have better ideas at the moment."
 
Lily smiled. "Okay, well then lets sit down and eat some more, cause one bite of a sandwhich is not going to make me very full." Lily plopped back down and dug in the basket for a roast beef sandwich and a juice.
 
Blake followed Lily's lead, sitting beside her and grabbing another tuna sandwich and opening his own juice box. Taking a large bite out of it, he couldn't help but smile randomly. This was all so much fun, he started to forget about the incident that had occured the day before with Pez. His gaze kept falling on Lily, no matter where he was looking. She was beautiful, her short brown hair billowing about in the wind, and her blue eyes gleaming ever so brightly.

Lily was taking a big bite from her sandwich when she noticed that Blake couldn't seem to keep his eyes off of her. She blushed, and looked down, then looked back at Blake and smiled. She giggled a little, thinking she looked like a pig sitting there eating with big bites, but then just didn't care. She took as big a bite as she could, made a silly face at Blake, and started to chew her sandwich.
 
Blake laughed histerically as Lily pulled a funny face after taking a large bite of her sandwich. Picking up the straw in his juice box, he stuffed it up his nose and snorted loudly. [ =)) ] Realising that wasn't te smartest move, he pulled out the straw and felt rather idiotic for forgetting his manners around Lily. He turned crimson again, then turned back to his sandwich he took a rahter big bite and gulped, feeling the bit go down uncomfortably.
 
Lily busted up laughing as Blake put the straw up his nose ((( =)) ))). She almost spat out everything that was in her mouth right then. She swallowed so she could laugh. "You are crazy!" she said, laughing. She loved the fact that they could be so silly with eachother.
 
"Gee thanks," Blake laughed. They were both rather silly in their own particular way. And he loved how Lily brought out the better side of him, and how comfortable he felt around her. She was amazing.
 
"Your welcome, silly boy." Lily replied, giggling. She was so comfortable with Blake. Amazing how things change in a day, she thought to herself. Yesterday, she never would have guessed that there was any chance of being more than friends, and yet today, here they are dating. She smiled at Blake, and then dug through the basket. She found exactly what she had hoped for, and, pulled it out. There was a dish of whipped cream. She took a huge fingerful of it and reached over and smeared it all over Blake's face. She giggled and stuck her tongue out at him.
 
Blake felt Lily smudge cream all over his face and dove for the dish of whiped cream. Taking a handful, he let the cream flop from his hand and onto Lily's head, watching the heap of cream drip onto her shoulders too. Blake burst out laughing like a madman, rolling around on the ground as he did so.
With his clean hand, he wipped off the cream Lily had smeared across his face, and licked a bit. "Yum!" he said loudly before licking the rest of the cream on his hands.
 
Lily laughed as Blake made a dive for the cream, but then realized that he was about to dump it on her! She moved to avoid the cream, but it dripped all down her head to her shoulders. "Oh, you are so in for it!" she laughed as he was rolling around laughing. She grabbed a ton more cream and tackled Blake, smearing it all into his face and hair. "HA! Gotcha!" she laughed as she moved away towards her broom to get away from the next attack.
 
As Lily moved away towards her broom, Blake picked up his ownd and mounted it, picking up the dish of whipped cream. Taking another handful, he chucked it at Lily then took off into the sky, the dish still in his hand.
 
"OH, You are so gonna get it!" Lily yelled as she mounted her broom and took off after him. She was gonna swipe the bowl away from him. She was up and on his tail quickly, ducking below him to swipe away the bowl of cream. She grabbed it and then flew up over him to dump a bunch on Blake's head.
 
Blake hadn't realised that Lily had swiped the dish from him and was too late to react. Suddenly he felt a blob land on his head and knew it was Lily as he looked up and saw her fly by. "OH YOU ARE SO DEAD!" he yelled as he sped up after her. He wipped off some of the cream on his head with one hand, and once he had caught up Lily, he smothered it on her face.
Quickly pulling the broom handle, he flew down to where the basket was laying and reached down to grad another juice box. Piercing the straw hole with the straw, then chucking it away hastily, Blake geared up and set off again to find Lily. Juice box ready to squirt at any random moment.
 
Lily realized that she would soon be out of whipped cream. She frantically thought of what else was in the picnic basket to be able to defend herself with against Blake. She wiped off the whipped cream from her face that Blake nailed her with, and she made a dive for the picnic basket. She dug around and ended up finding a jar of jam. This will work, she thought. She headed back up in the air and circled, watching Blake intensely to see what his next move was going to be.
 
Blake watched as Lily flew down to arm herself with jar of jam. He smirked as she began circling, her eyes glued on him waiting for him to make the first move. Blake followed in her circle, taking her lead, his juice box at the ready.
Then at the last moment, Blake sped up and dived under Lily, directing his broom into a full circle that came right up around Lily. As he flew over and by her, he squeezed the juice box, the contents spraying Lily all over. Picking up his speed as he flew above her upside down, Blake streamed off into the opposite direction with only one intention, and that was to get away from Lily, fast. At least before she could react to the juice attact, knowing her retaliation would not be pleasant for him. Other than having a great laugh about it afterwards of course.
 
Lily was trying to stay away from Blake, well at least out of spray range when he came in and sprayed her from head to toe. "YUCK!!! You are SO in for it!!!" she screamed as she took off after him. She followed closely on his tail all over until she was able to finally gain ground on him and smack him with the jam from the jar. Lily managed to slide up next to him finally and took a huge handful and shoved it into his face. She laughed hysterically as she took off, leaving Blake all red in the face. The jam was strawberry, and he was truely red in the face! ((( =)) ))) "Neener, neener, neener!" she sang as she flew off in the opposite direction, looking for a spot to avoid retaliation.
 
Blake was ready for it when Lily smeared his face with jam. Head covered with whipped cream and jam, Blake set off after Lily. The juice box was empty and had already been discarded, he was out of deffences and was pretty sure Lily was still equiped with the jam jar. Still, Blake stuck onto Lily's tail like a predator going in for the kill.
Catching up to Lily after another moment of chasing, Blake had a wild idea, and without thinking it through, he stood on his broom, then hopped over to the left and onto the back of Lily's broom.
"Surprise!" he said in her ear, a wide grin spread across his face.
