Audrey stared blankly ahead in utter disbelief. Gryffindor had the snitch. She'd played the single best game of her life and that just hadn't been good enough. If she hadn't hesitated, she could have forced Gryffindor to make another substitution. She could vaguely hear the buzz of Gryffindor celebration around her but hovered in place, numb with disappointment. If there was any place left she could one up Teddy it was on the Quidditch Pitch, but even that didn't seem possible anymore. She was going to have to scream into the lake and hit things after this.
