Quidditch Game: Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw

Lilith kept looking but she might as well not have because it was quite futile.

(OOC: not the system asking me {Are you even trying?}x_x)

Ivy looped around the close third of the pitch before heading back to the goals. She tossed the ball cleanly through the middle hoop.

Lilith had no idea why she was still trying, for there seemed to be no snitch in her near vicinity.

Lilith was still looking, wondering what the rest of her team was doing.

William didn't hit anything.

Maggie made contact with a bludger but watched as it sailed away from Felix and into the young Gryffindor keeper.

Still nothing, maybe she really should just not try anymore.

Felix heard the bludger sail past him nervously.

this was in fact the best Lilith could do.

Well no snitch but it really wasn't for the lack of practice or focus....

Or did he?

Felix had been minding his own business when the tiny golden ball fluttered in front of him, and before it had a chance to escape him again, the prefect reached out to grab it. He whooped into the wind, thrusting his clenched fist to the sky with the snitch tightly in his grasp.

Lilith saw Felix catch the snitch and even though she was frustrated with herself and had a feeling like this was her last chance she still flew over to her best friend with a bright smile. “You did it! Good job!!” She said to him before leaning in for an awkward hug in air.

Fifi turned to see Lili headed his way. He felt bad, knowing how much she'd been training for this, but he was also very excited to see the look on Nia and Teddy's faces. He leaned over and gave the Ravenclaw the best hug he could, "Good game Lili, it was really close," Felix had no doubt that had a few more minutes passed, the outcome would have been entirely different.
