Gryffindor, Ravenclaw
The end of another season. Reeve couldn't believe it, honestly. The weather was beautiful, a crisp fall morning that would likely turn into an almost perfect day - no clouds, just sun, a light breeze. The referee took his time prepping the pitch, listening to the stands fill and watching the players begin their warm ups.

Reeve had already given instructions to each team. Now, he was on the pitch putting some final touches for the game. The game chest was nearby and he could see it rattling as the bludgers struggled against their restraints. Finally, he was done and all that was left to do was wait for the captains to produce their line-ups.

Daviana was nervous to be playing in yet another game. She had had much more luck in practice as a beater than she had as keeper, and it had gone to her head. Her aunt had assured her it took time to get comfortable in a position, but Daviana was worried about letting her team down. Either way, she was here and ready to play. The Gryffindor threw her hair up in a bun and sat on the bench, waiting to see the line-up.

Maggie was more than ready for today’s game. She’d been having a good time in practices, and today would be no different, right? The Ravenclaw took her seat and adjusted some of her uniform as she waited for Lucy to clarify the line-up.

Lilith was looking forward to this particular game because there was a pretty good chance Felix would be playing it and she was excited to get to go head to head with her best friend. Walking onto the pitch the prefect began stretching as she waited for Lucy to give her words before the beginning. Her eyes roamed over the students already gathered in their respective house groups down on the pitch and looked around trying to spot Felix, if not only to give the boy a grin and a salute.

Kaysi wasn't sure if she was going to be playing in this game, but she was ready nonetheless. She was stretching on the pitch and helping the other players to warm up with a smile on her face.

Theo was excited and ready for the game. he had hopes that he and the team would do well! he joined with the rest of my quidditch team mates as he waited for their captain

Ivy made her way to the quidditch pitch. it was the last game of the year and somehow it felt monumental, like an end. even though she knew it wasnt actually her last game. she had next year and the rest ofher career to play. but that was the future. today she needed to win. to beat Lucy and the ravenclaws, to make teddy proud and prove that she could do this even if the proof was only just to herself.
she walked across the pitch and the weather was perfect she could feel like it would be a goodgame.
She waited for her team to arrive. Still feeling so pleased that she could say it was her team. Her team. It really didn’t get old. alright everyone. This is our last match to keep a hold of the cup. Let’s make it a good one. You all know what to do. And I have complete faith in every one of you. So just have some fun. Kaysi and Felix you are up. she said it was sort of a shame that her seventh years weren’t playing their final match at the school but she could understand not wanting to loose focus on newts or get injured this close to the end. gryffindor on three. One two three. GRYFFINDOR she called before heading over to reeve and handing in her player sheet. She looked at Lucy the ravenclaw captain an impish smile spreading across her face as she thought about when they had accidentally ended up playing together. you know what’s at stake. may the best girl, I mean team, win” she said shaking her hand before winking tossing one of her braids over her shoulder before returning to the lions pride. Ready for the game to start.

Lucy felt like her blood was on fire as she stepped out onto the pitch for her final time. Win or lose, this was it. She would never play in another Quidditch match at Hogwarts, and it was her last chance to walk away a trophy-winning captain, head held high. Her heart raced as she looked up at the stands, at the sea of faces cheering them on. It would be amazing to win the cup for everyone else, of course, but deep down Lucy wanted to win it for herself. And... maybe for another reason.

She tried to calm down as the team assembled, giving what she hoped was a passably calm smile. "Alright, guys! This is it, we're walking out of here with that trophy today! I want everyone to bring absolutely everything they have to this one, no holding back. For me and Violet especially, this is our last game, and we'd love to walk out of here with a trophy. Win or lose though, we made it to the championship, and I'm proud of absolutely everyone here, and I'm so happy to get to play with you all one last time." She blinked back tears, looking around the assembled group again. "One last time, let's get the win for Ravenclaw!"

With the team suitably pep-talked, Lucy handed her lineup in quickly, before meeting Ivy for the captains handshake. Her grin broadened, face flushing slightly, and she gave the younger girl a firm nod. "Looking forward to claiming my prize." She grinned, giving Ivy a cheeky wink before returning to her team, ready to begin.

Hinemoa knew she wouldn't be playing in today's match unless things went very wrong, but it didn't do anything to dampen her excitement. Just being a member of a team playing in the championship match was a huge thrill, and she grinned brightly when she looked up to the stands and saw her mum watching on. Determined to do her best, Hinemoa huddled up with the rest, waiting for the match to start.

Felix was feeling the pressure that today there was a good chance he'd be up against Lilith in the battle of the Quidditch cup. As Ivy confirmed he was playing, he nodded at his Captain before peering across the pitch to his best friend. May the best Seeker win, he grinned.

Reeve took a look at the lineup information and determined that all was in order. He quickly cast the Sonorous Charm on himself and then announced to the crowd, “This is the final game for the season. Gryffindor will be guarding the northern hoops, and Ravenclaw will guard the south hoops. Best of luck to both teams. Let's have a fun game!”

Reeve released the snitch and bludgers. He flew up into the sky with the quaffle, tossing it into the air with a "GAME ON!"

OOCOut of Character: Game notes, please read

1. Be sure to review the rules [please note the change to snitch capture value]. Any questions regarding the rules should first be addressed to your captain(s). Captains may PM me for any assistance needed.
2. If you have any issues seeing the score on the referee's first post or with your access to the quidditch system, please send a PM including both me and your captain(s). It may be that they've forgotten to add you to the system or may be a bigger issue.
3. You should refresh the page before you post! Someone might sneak in a post while you are working on yours and first post counts.
4. You should always be pressing a button, whichever is appropriate for your game play during your post. Doing so boosts your success rate and allows the timer to kick in appropriately for players.
5. After a player is hit by the bludger 3x, gameplay should stop. This allows for a quicker return to game post- substitution.
6. The game is meant to be interactive, so read your fellow players posts before posting! Stick with the game from beginning to end, from kicking off the ground to touching back down! Have fun!

Kaysi shot into the air and quickly beelined for a bludger, hitting it but not managing to do any damage with it.

Lilith was glad when she spotted Felix and he was grinning too. As Reeve blew the whistle signaling the beginning of the game Lilith jumped on her broom and zoomed right into action, looking for any sign of the snitch around.

Maggie wasn't taking any time once she learned she was for sure playing today. She quickly got on her broom once Reeve instructed them to start and hit a bludger. She tried to hit it towards Felix, but it winded up hitting @Tessaria Carter instead.

Daviana was glad to see her name on the roster and found her way to the hoops. She knew she could block the Ravenclaw chasers - she just had to be ready.

Felix's heart was pounding as he took to the skies, hoping he would come out of this victorious even if he was also a little bruised.

Lilith heard the steady, really not so steady, thump of her heart ash she kept her eyes scanning her surroundings. She thought she saw something in the distance but couldn't be quite sure so she started making her way towards it.

With the sound of the whistle Ivy took to the sky and scooped the quaffle into gryffindor possession before making her way to the ravenclaw hoops.

Lilith flew a little closer stilly trying to make out if it was a snitch or just a reflection of the light off of something.

Lucy took off with the whistle, heart racing as she set off towards a bludger. This was it - all or nothing. She groaned as her first shot flew wide of any opposing players, but she didn't let that break her determination as she flew on.

It looked as though Lilith was on to something and smoothly the prefect headed to her side of the pitch.

Maggie knew she was just warming up, and even though she missed her target, it wasn't going to happen again. She flew for a moment before seeing another bludger whizz by. She caught up with and hit it hard towards @Felix Layton making contact.

Daviana saw Ivy get possession of the quaffle first and felt a little bit of relief. She could settle into the game without all eyes being on her right off the bat. The Gryffindor held onto her broom, trying to keep her eyes on what was happening across the pitch.

As Lili flew towards the shimmer and saw Felix also coming that way. Narrowing her eyes she sped up a little further only to find out that the glimmer had indeed been a reflection of the sun from someone's jewelry. Noticing the other seeker taking a hit she grimaced a little. "You good?" She called out while trying to locate any signs of the snitch.

Kaysi was flying around doing her best to catch up to another bludger. Finally, she did but her swing went wide.
