Landon was always excited for the holidays and he was keen to have a day out with his family. He had planned for all of them to go together and spend some quality time, as he felt he didn't get much of that sometimes with his busy schedule between his home and Hogwarts. He was excited, dressing in some jeans and a nice buttoned shirt. It wasn't everyday that they could do this, so he figured dressing up a little bit for it was a good idea. He smiled at his girls as he walked beside them down the streets of Obsidian Harbour. "Do you girls want some ice cream as a treat? Or we could have a look at some of the shops first and buy something for the each of us?" he asked, pretty sure he knew what their response was going to be.

Camille knew her time was gonna come closer. Genesee would go to Hogwarts the upcoming year. Camille would be the year after. And it was in a way nice, she than knew someone already. She knew someone else too, but Camille wasn't sure how June would react to seeing her again. The blonde hoped that they could spend time together, it was her wish and perhaps things would be fine once they would see eachother. But the fact that June didn't write her back, made her nervous. The castle was big, from what she had seen and heard. But she couldn't avoid her that long, the blonde thought. But it was nice for now that Landon took them for shopping. Camille was glad that she could be prepared for what would come on her path one day. She was nervous for it, already now. But she could hear the story's from Genesee once she would start on Hogwarts. And Landon was there too, which was something which made Camille happy and more calm.

As she walked along, watching around with big blue eyes. Ice cream sounded great, and her eyes went wider. But Camille wasn't one to answer first. So she watched at Genesee to see what she had to say, and she would be fine with everything. Staying close to Landon, because it was crowded. And that kind of made her nervous.

Georgie loved her family, it was big enough for her and while she always wished they had kept trying for more children, the two she and Landon had were just enough. Of course, she equally loved her other daughters that Landon and her adopted, Camille was perfectly aged with Genesee and Tessaria and when she was adopted fitting her into the family worked so well. And Lauren, Georgie always admired the strength she had as a young girl, it reminded her of herself and her own difficult upbringing. The brunette stood out when walking along with her very blonde family down the streets of Obsidian Harbour. She knew they needed to do a little bit of shopping for Gen's upcoming first year but she smiled when Landon mentioned getting each of the girl's a treat. It had always been important to her that her girls never wanted for anything but equally weren't given absolutely everything. One thing each trip meant they felt loved equally and kept them, mostly, from fighting over the items.

"I think a bit of ice cream and while we eat you each can say what store you want to go in?" Georgie offered, she was walking and holding Tessaria's hand, the youngest of their girls. She walked trying to keep the girls between her and Landon knowing how easy it can be to lose someone in a crowded street as they continued down the road.

Genesee walked a little ahead of her younger sisters and parents, she always tried to be more independent being the eldest of the younger girls. She used to be the eldest but that was before she even understood she was the eldest. Now Gen looked up to Lauren her big sister of four years. She always wished Lauren had more time to hang out and do more grown-up things with her. At eleven she felt as though she was old enough to rule the world. Not literally, of course, she wouldn't be ruling over people. It had also been nice over the summer that their father was around during the days for them. She had never paid much attention to the love her parents shared but it was clear this past summer seeing how her mother smiled a real smile every morning her dad was in the kitchen early cooking them breakfast. "I want to go to the quidditch shop!" She exclaimed as it came into view in the distance, she didn't care for the talk of ice cream. That was always a given but looking at the newest released broom would be a once-in-a-lifetime moment for her. She had always tried not to have a favourite between mom's and dad's work but flying had much more of a thrill factor than tending to the plants. She still loved growing things and her section of the home garden was always weed-free, but it didn't always need her attention.

Tessaria liked getting out of the house, and now that daddy was back at home for a little bit, they could all go out as a family. The girl kept close to her mother however as they walked along the streets, keeping a firm hold of her hand. Everyone was just so tall over her and the last thing she wanted was to get lost in the crowd. At the mention of ice cream, Tessaria beamed. "Yay, ice cream! Ice cream!" she exclaimed, jumping up and down, desperate for that taste of chocolate and sugar melting in her mouth. As Genesee mentioned going to the Quidditch shop, Tessaria frowned. If she went to the Quidditch shop then they would all be separated, and Tessaria wanted to go to the ice cream shop first. She just waited to see what her parents would say.

Landon smiled as his wife agreed with his idea. He loved to spoil his girls. Tessaria seemed the most keen on it, whilst Genesee wanted to go to the Quidditch shop. "What about you, my dear?" he said, smiling over at Camille. "Did you want to get some ice cream first and have a think about it?" He knew Camille was a little shyer than the others and certainly didn't want her to feel left out.

"Let's go get some ice cream then. And then after that, we can take a look at the quidditch shop and any other shop you girls want to go to." he said, beginning to walk towards the ice cream place. As they made it to the front of the line, Landon gestured for the girls to speak up. "Tell them what you'd like, my loves."

As Georgiana suggested icecream Camille her eyes went bigger. She wanted some icecream. But was glad Genesee said what she wanted. Camille never had saw quidditch before, and didn't knew how she felt about that. But she would follow the rest around everywhere. As Tessaria was excited about icecream, the blonde watched the girl. But as Landon suddenly directly asked her she watched him wit hher big blue eyes. The blonde thought for an moment. And nodded her head in agreement. And gave him a shy smile. Camille would love to have an icecream. She didn't got a lot of them when she was younger. Not even a lot attention, so this new relationship with her new parents was odd, but also the best she had. But it was hard to not feel different than to the rest. But Camille liked playing with the others. It was not bad that to just follow them around and try some new stuff. She nodded at what Landon said. When they could tell the flavour they want she found it hard to choose. '' Stra- Strawberry.. please.'' she than said to the person who helped them. And took the icecream from the man as it was made for her. Camille hold it very tight, because she could see it falling on the ground. And waited with starting with it for the rest.

June needed some school supplies, she actually needed a lot of them. So made her way to Obsidian Harbour to see what she could get there. And after getting some of the supplies for the new classes she had found an bench to take an break on. The stuff was heavy and she put it down beside her. And took the daily prophet which she just bought to see what the news would be. She wondered if her father would be inside, it wasn't that he was very famous. But he had been an influencable person at the Norwegian Ministry of Magic. So perhaps there it was more known. But in case he would be, she had to know to be prepared. As she opened the daily prophet she heard some excited noices. And looked up to see an family. And than two very familliar faces. She quickly hold up the newspaper in front of her. But looked over it to observe an bit. And sighted as she spotted her sister Camille. But with that horrible Landon. And it kind of hurted her to see her sister in that family. Her new family, disgusting. But June was not jealous at all of her. She didn't want to be seen with those people. Camille had grown, she could tell. But she didn't seemed to have change as far June could tell. But seeing her smile and getting an ice cream made her roll her eyes. She kept the newspaper up and hided after it. Flipping another page, to make it seem like she was actually reading.
