It was time to relax, Evelyn thought. So the blonde was heading to the Student Lounge with her handbag with her. She really did her very best for some lessons with her homework and she worked really hard on the things that she already learned in the lessons. It was now time for relaxing, and she felt that she could do that in the student lounge. She had been there before with her brother, they had a nice talk about their thought about Hogwarts so far. She had not seen her brother in a while, she guessed he was also busy with his homework. But she hoped that he could make time for her soon. She enjoyed her time on Hogwarts more and more, but she also missed her dad at home and the time that she spended with her brother. The one thing what she didn't want to happen, was that her brother and her would lose contact. Evelyn loved her brother very much, he was also her best friend and she could laugh with him the most and also could have a good conversation when she was sad. He really was her big brother. He was just born five minutes before Evelyn but it just felt like he was her big bro. But she knew that she had to make new friends at here, and she was more open for it when the weeks flew by. She had met some people who she liked and also a lot that she didn't liked. She just needed to experience it all. She was just eleven and she sometimes forgot that. Because she was a perfectionist she wanted everything to be perfect. Also what people would think of her, because Evelyn would tell others what she thought honestly. And she expected that from others too.

When arriving at the Student lounge she saw that it wasn't really busy. So Evelyn walked over to a chair that was free, and went sitting on it. She went sitting until it felt comfortable. Some students were chatting with eachother and others were just reading their book. Evelyn grabbed her bag with fashion magazines. She could relax when she would choose new clothes to buy and see what would will be the new fashion of the month. She heard that there were some shops nearby the school and she hoped that she could go there anytime soon. She really needed new clothes, she wanted to be exclusive. If she didn't had to wear her school uniform. But when she would wear her school uniform she tried to be fashionable. She sighted for a moment and was completely into her magazine.

After a few weeks at school, Amber was starting to feel more at home in the castle. On most days she was now able to find her way around without getting lost more than twice, and she had been following along with the lessons quite well. There were some she liked more than others, but generally things were going well.

But in these few weeks, Amber had barely let herself relax. She had been busy with classes, signing up for clubs and keeping up with homework. So today was the first time she found herself in the student lounge, ready to spend some time doing nothing directly school related.

It was surprisingly empty, and she wondered if it was always this way or if she was just lucky. She had grabbed a book from the library to read, but didn't really feel like it. She didn't like reading books too much, but it felt like a good thing to do in her free time here at school. The books in the library had seemed somewhat interesting, so she was hopeful that it wouldn't be boring.

As she was contemplating whether or not to get her book out of her bag to read for a while, she spotted a blond girl reading what was clearly a fashion magazine. All thoughts of the book were forgotten. This was a lot more interesting. She recognized the girl from her classes, so she must be a first year as well, but didn't remember her name. Well, they hadn't been introduced, so it wouldn't be weird to ask, right?

She walked over to where she was sitting, and sneaked a curious glance at the magazine. It was one she recognized, though she hadn't read this issue yet. She didn't want the other girl to catch her reading over her shoulder without saying anything, so she decided to go ahead and introduce herself. "Hi," she said, smiling brightly. "I couldn't help but notice what you were reading, I like that magazine too! My name's Amber, we're in a few of the same classes, right?"

Evelyn was so into her magazine that she didnt't saw a girl coming at her. Fashion was really her passion you could say. It was the one thing that her mother had taught her. And her mother didn't taught her much, because she was so busy with herself and her husband. Evelyn's father was the one person were Evelyn had taught everything from. Together with Espen her father was the most important person in her life. Evelyn really missed him and when she thought about home she was wondering what her father would think or do right now. It was a harsh thought but Evelyn couldn't really think about her mother, she just didn't care about how her mother would feel or what she would do right now. Because her mother wouldn't do the same for her. Her mother her exact words before she left were: I'm happy that you are away little brat. It was painfull to hear that from your own mother and it still hurted. But that was the last drop for Evelyn. She was done with being ridicule by her mother. Evelyn never really spoke with her dad about this behavior, but he knew that his wife had a harsh tone against her children and to a lot of persons actually. Her father was the one that spoiled Evelyn very much and that made her a brat sometimes, but her mother didn't had the right to say it to her. When Evelyn thought about how her mother sometimes was she knew that she had something from her mother inside of her. Evelyn also said out loud to people what she thought about them, and that could be rude sometimes. Oh no. She hated the thought of be the same as her mother.

Her father always defended Evelyn and Espen's mother by saying that it was a result of her youth. And so Evelyn didn't really asked more about it, she just loved her dad and brother and her mother was air for her. Evelyn put her thoughts away quickly from her mother and at home. She was happy right now and it has to remain that way. Her mother would not mess this up. When she heard a voice Evelyn put her magazine a bit lower so she could see who spoke to her. ''Uhm hi?'' Evelyn saw a famillar face but she saw a lot of in this castle. The girl's name was Amber and she heard that name before in her class she thought. When the girl showed an interest in her magazine Evelyn got a smile on her face. At last somebody who understands important things.'' It is the latest edition!'' she said enthusiastic. '' I know. That's right yes.'' She put down her magazine on a table that stood next to her. The intention of being here was to relax, this girl interrupt her. But she loved people that liked fashion magazines and this was the first one that shared the same interest. ''I'm Evelyn, but you knew that already I assumed.''she said smiling.

Amber was relieved to get a positive reply. It wasn't every day that she found someone here that shared one of her interests, and fashion seemed to be the last thing on some people's minds. It wouldn't be nice to tell them that, of course, so she wouldn't.

She wasn't entirely sure why the other girl assumed she remembered her name, because as far as Amber as concerned it was a miracle she could remember the names of all her professors, let alone students in other houses. But she felt like it would be rude and unnecessary to contradict her, though, so she decided to go along with it instead. "Of course," she said cheerfully. "Hi Evelyn, I've noticed you in class and around school and you're always dressed so nicely, it makes sense that you have interest in fashion." Of course, most of the time people had to wear the uniform, but it was all about the accessories. Amber knew that you could still look unique if you had to wear the exact same outfit as everyone else, as long as you were creative. It was still nice to wear her own clothes outside of class, and she did that as often as she could too.

"I haven't seen that edition yet, can I sit down? I'd love to talk to someone who likes this stuff too, if it's not a bother to you." She played with a colorful bracelet on her wrist as she talked to the other girl, wondering if she was being too forward or annoying. Making friends was harder than she had anticipated before starting school, people weren't always easy to read.

Evelyn was really glad that some girl just walked into her that shared the same interest. It was stupid that they had to wear uniforms, but Evelyn also thought of it as a challenge to still look good and unique. Evelyn looked at Amber again and inspected her looks. The blonde herself was dressed in a jeans and white shirt with white blazer. Evelyn always wanted to be dressed perfectly, you would never see her in a sweatpants. When Amber mentioned that she thought of Evelyn as always dressed so nicely a big smile appeared on her face. She already liked the girl this soon! She really had some taste if she liked Evelyn her looks. But Evelyn knew that already a girl didn't need to say it out loud. She was confident about her looks because she spend almost all her free time at it.
'' Well thanks Amber, you are right I really have a interest in Fashion.'' And kept smiling at Amber. She was just wondering why the girl kept standing, was it because she was afraid of asking or didn't want to bother her anymore.

Just when the thoughts went to her head, Amber asked if she could sit down. '' Yeah sure, I'm glad that there is a person on this school that really knows what is important. I'd love to show you. '' And she montioned to the chair just beside her and offered the magazine to the girl. '' You can keep it if you want, I have a few of them.'' Evelyn gave the magazine to Amber. '' My dad sends me, and I can get as many as I want. A friend of his works at this company.'' Evelyn was so glad that her father had so many contacts, she could get as many magazine as she wants. She got a whole collection, but unfortunately she could not bring them all. At home she had some magazines that were from when she wasn't even born. Very rare magazines that you could not buy somewhere else at this time anymore.

Amber noticed Evelyn inspecting her appearance and self consciously glanced down at her clothes. She was wearing a simple white blouse with a pink skirt. Her shoes and accessories accented the outfit with hints of purple. It wasn't as stylish as Evelyn was dressed, but it fit her own style.

"Thank you." She said as she sat down and accepted the magazine. "Can I really keep it?" She asked as she looked inside. Fashion magazines always looked so glamorous, and she liked looking at the beautiful people on the pages almost as much as she liked looking at the clothes. One day, she would like to look even slightly as pretty.

"You're lucky that your dad knows people like that! My parents have their own clothing line and store but it's not very well known yet outside of our town."

Evelyn noticed that Amber saw that she inspect her. It was something what Evelyn always did. She liked to look at people and especially to see what they were wearing.'' Yes! You can really keep it.'' Evelyn smiled at Amber. It was a bit cute to see that the girl almost didn't believed it. Evelyn liked to see people happy when they got her stuff. When she was younger, the children in the neighbourhood always wanted to play with Evelyn her toys. Because she had the newest and coolest toys. '' I'm glad about that for sure!'' Evelyn loved her father even more for that. And it was just useful after all.

When Amber spoke about her parents having their own clothing line Evelyn smiled. '' That's nice. What is the name of the store?'' The blonde was curious what it would be, she was sure that she would not know it, but maybe they had awesome clothes that Evelyn didn't saw anywhere before. The blonde liked the most expensive clothes from famous designers, but clothes were clothes. And maybe she would find something great!
'' In which house were you, I can't remember.'' Evelyn thought Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw perhaps. She didn't knew it because they had so many lessons and sometimes it was with Hufflepuff or Slytherin or every house.

Amber took the magazine gratefully, making sure not to crease it as she held it in her hands. "Thank you." She said happily. "I have some older ones in my dorm, you probably already have seen those, but I could still show you in case there are some you haven't." It felt like a weak payback and the other girl probably knew it. Old clothes weren't nearly as interesting as the newest styles, but it was all she had to offer. She hadn't thought to make sure her magazines were mailed to school, they were probably piling up at home.

When the subject changed to her parents' store, she perked up a bit. "Oh! The name is Wilson's Wondrous Wear, I know it's a bit of a silly name but it sort of works I think. They use muggle influence in their clothes because the muggle world moves a lot faster in terms of fashion usually... and my dad grew up as a muggle so he knows a lot about it."

At the question about her house she smiled. "I'm in Hufflepuff, I've seen you around but I don't recall which house you are in either, which one is it?"

When Amber began about older ones in her dorm Evelyn didn't really knew how to respond on that. It was nice she guessed that the girl said that in return, but Evelyn had everything she wanted so she didn't need older ones, because she had them herself. The blonde looked at Amber again and sighted. '' I think I got them all. I got even the exclusive ones from when we weren't born yet!'' Evelyn said enthiosastic.'' But thanks, we could read together perhaps?'' She completed with a smile. The first impression of this girl was good, she had the same hobby as her so that was a match for sure. But when she wouldn't have come to her, Evelyn didn't knew if she would went to Amber to chat. But that were things that didn't matter anymore, because Amber did come to Evelyn and that was a fact.

'' What a funny name!'' Evelyn started to laugh about the name of the shop from Amber her parents, because she was a honest girl. And this was kinda a name that was good for a market, that was for sure. '' My father would say that this is a good name for the market.'' A lot of clothes shops had funny or weird names, but Evelyn only looked at the clothes and the quality. Amber told her dad grew up as a muggle and Evelyn was kinda interested about that. '' I like some of the muggle stuff. I saw things before.'' It was true, the muggles had brilliant ideas sometimes. Amber was a Hufflepuff student ofcourse! When she told it Evelyn knew it again. Amber was in a few of Evelyn her classes and that made sense. '' I'm in Gryffindor.'' she said with a big smile.

Evelyn's offer surprised Amber but she was glad the other girl had made it. Amber had known she probably had the magazines already, and offering the other girl something she obviously already owned could probably be seen as sort of rude, even if she'd had the best of intentions. It was a relief that Evelyn hadn't taken it that way. "I'd love to read them with you." She said happily. "That's so nice!"

She was glad she had gathered the courage to talk to this girl. She was clearly very nice, very knowledgeable about fashion and also very pretty. It would be good to make friends with someone like that.

"I'm glad you like it."
She said at Evelyn's reaction to the name of the store. It did embarrass her a little bit when the other girl had laughed, but she decided to take it as a compliment. "And yes! Muggle fashion is really interesting, they are more limited because they don't have magic so sometimes things come out we wouldn't think of."

When Evelyn told her she was in Gryffindor, it clicked back into place. "Right! Now I remember, I've seen you in Charms with Professor Haden!" She knew most of her classmates simply called him Micah, but that seemed too informal to Amber. "I love Charms, I think it's my favorite class.

Amber was in Evelyn's eyes a standard cute girl and her parents must be very proud. Evelyn caught herself sometimes at thinking how it would be if she had a better relationship with her mother. When people asked her about her parents she would never lie, because Evelyn was one of the most honest persons you would know. But ofcourse at a total stranger she would never explain her whole situation, only people who she could trust. And right now the only person that she trusted was her brother and he was just a part of the home situation. Evelyn was open to trust more people here at Hogwarts, she was proud of the friends making progress that she had made. She couldn't wait to write her dad about the first friends she had made. She would definitely mention Zara because that was the very first friend she had made, but Amber was a potential friend for sure. The blonde was so happy about meeting somebody that shared the same passion for fashion. '' Sure, we could really read together and exchange our visions.'' Evelyn looked at Amber with a smile.

When Amber responded at her parents her shop, Evelyn thought at first that the girl was a bit offended by Evelyn her laugh about the name. But she didn't got the feeling when Amber went talking again, so that wasn't a problem. She would sure say something when she would be offended right? Evelyn was used to that and thought of it as normal that people would just say when they have a problem with you. When Amber responded when she was glad that Evelyn liked the name, a short smile appeared on her face. It was cute when people saw her as a rolemodel and Evelyn really wanted to be that with topics as fashion and looks. '' I totally agree with you! I bought some clothes in the muggleworld, and it are special designers.'' Evelyn was facinated by the fashion of the muggleworld, she had nothing against muggles. But she just felt pity for them that they didn't got the gift of magic. When Amber spoke out Charms and Haden Evelyn was just more excited. '' Oh my gosh! Mine too. Misha is like the best Professor ever. Charms is my favorite lesson.'' This was super cool the two girls had so much incommon this never could get wrong.

As Amber talked to the other girl, she couldn't help but notice and admire her confidence. It wasn't really anything she said, but the way she moved and talked made it obvious that she didn't have a lot of trouble on that front. Amber wondered what it would be like, not to second guess everything you did. Though, she knew that many people wouldn't really notice how little confidence she had either. It was surprisingly easy to pretend, but she didn't think Evelyn was pretending.

She was drawn back into the conversation when Evelyn mentioned her muggle clothes. "Special designer clothes? That sounds amazing." It was also clear the other girl was a lot richer than Amber was, and could buy whatever clothes she liked. Amber's parents weren't poor, but she also didn't get enough allowance to just buy whatever she wanted. She wasn't really jealous, she loved her wardrobe, but she still sort of wanted to see the special clothes the other girl was speaking of. She felt like it would be inappropriate to ask, though, so she didn't.

The subject of Charms was less difficult. "I like Professor Haden too!" She said enthusiastically. She paused. "I know we can call him Misha, but it feels a little weird." She added. "I mean, he is our professor. I don't know." She instantly regretted saying it. Obviously, Evelyn didn't feel the same way, as she used the name easily. She wondered if it made her sound childish.

Evelyn didn't really said anything from her luxuary life to make people jealous, she just wanted to share what she did and got. She was a very open person and maybe some people would not like it but Evelyn didn't matter. '' Yes I'm very happy with it. My father sends me this things. So I can have them at here.'' On Hogwarts Evelyn didn't really knew anybody that came also out a rich family. Her father knew a lot of people so maybe from colleagues there were some children also on her school. For Evelyn it didn't matter from which family or which blood status people came, she just looked at their personality and mostly looks.

When the subject went over Professor Misha Haden. Just as always Evelyn started to smile. With Zara she spoke recently also about this subject. Amber also liked Misha, but she called him Professor Haden. Evelyn just liked to call him Misha, because he said that they could do so. But other Professors they just called Professor and their last name, because Misha was the only one that let them do that. '' I don't feel that way. I like to call him Misha, but he is a professor so that makes sense. Although I cannot imagine to call Professor Styx, Kalif. That would be a strange thing, and when somebody did that like Lucas did in the first lesson then you were not a friend of Styx.'' I like the fact that we can call him by his first name. That is one of the reasons I like him.'' Evelyn didn't knew if the fact that Misha gave Charms made her like Charms so much, or if it was just that she really liked the lessons and things that she learned in Charms. Maybe it was both, but a fact was that Charms was her favorite class. '' What is your favorite lesson so far?''

Amber had plenty of clothes at Hogwarts, and since they wore uniforms most of the time she never really thought of asking her parents to send any of her other things over. Let alone buying or getting new things. "You're lucky." She said after listening to her. "I mean, it sounds like you have lots. Do you have enough room in your dorm?" She couldn't imagine storing a lot of things around her own bed, but maybe the Gryffindor dormitories had more space.

She listened to Evelyn talk about Professor Haden and the other professor she didn't know yet, smiling politely. "I understand, it's nice that he lets us call him that but I feel silly all the same. I hope he doesn't mind that I don't..." She trailed off. "I haven't had Professor Styx yet, what subject does he give?"

She answered Evelyn's own question with a bigger smile. "Charms is my favorite, it's just really neat to make things really happen with magic. I thought I was going to faint when the feather actually floated! I mean, I knew about magic but it's still entirely different to do it all by yourself." She paused, considering what else she liked. "Herbology is pretty nice too, but I don't like how much it involves getting dirty."

Evelyn was a really lucky girl with all the things that she got in her life. It was very easy to get what she wanted and so she also expected that on school. But she found out that with grades that was a bit different. She actually needed to work for her own grade, first she made jokes as that she could find somebody that would make her homework for her. But that was not the way, how it worked in this school. A big smile appeared on the blonde her face when Amber mentioned that she was lucky, she really was. She was very thankfull for the life that she got, and that was why she loved her dad so much. Mother was a different story but yeh, she brought her on this world so some credits to her too. '' Oh Amber don't start on that. Everyday it becomes more difficult. The room is too small for my taste! But Zara and the other girls from my dorm had the idea of asking a professor maybe Misha! To add some magic so that I have more space in my suitcase. So maybe I should do that.'' The fact that she could visit Misha was a nice thought. Amber made the impression that she wasn't really comfortable with using Misha, but why should Evelyn care it was her own decision.

Evelyn sighted when Amber mentioned that she didn't got Styx yet. '' Oh you are very lucky. Styx is the worst! He has those really scary eyes. He is my brothers head of house, I have pity for him. He gives Defence Against the Dark Arts.'' Evelyn didn't like the thought that she would have Styx for many more years. Amber her favorite was also Charms so that was one thing that they also had in common. '' Mine too! Those spells we learned are so useful in daily life!'' Herbology Evelyn heard from but what she heard wasn't really something for her. To put her hands into those dirty plants wasn't really something were she was looking forward too.
'' I think that Herbology is nothing for me. And I really can understand about getting dirty, I hate it!'' Well she was glad that she didn't had that subject yet, but she was already a bit worried about her grades. Hopefully there will be a lot of theory were she could score points with.

Amber giggled. She could imagine Evelyn taking up a lot of space in the Gryffindor girls dormitory. No wonder the other girls had made suggestions to help. "I don't know if there's a spell that can do that." Amber said as she slowly controlled her giggles. "But if it exists, I'm sure Professor Haden knows it. I think he'd be willing to help you, he's really very nice." She smiled pleasantly, remembering the Charms lessons of the past semester fondly.

The smile disappeared at Evelyn's words about the Defence against the Dark Arts teacher. She felt the start of anxiety in her stomach as she looked at the other girl nervously. "Is he truly that scary? I was looking forward to these lessons but I don't like the sound of him." She sighed. The idea of all new classes next semester was scary enough without a terrifying Professor in the mix. "Is the class fun, at least?"

She was glad Evelyn agreed about the dirt and Herbology. Though, Amber had suspected she would. The other girl looked like she hadn't gotten her hands dirty in her entire life. But, to be fair, so did Amber probably. "It's still a fun class, the flowers are so pretty! And there are lots of spells that make you not need to use your hands as much..." She shrugged. "Besides, there's gloves and aprons too. My clothes haven't gotten dirty so far."

Evelyn got a bit scared from the fact that one time her clothes would not fit in her bedroom anymore, so that she had to decide which she need to take home and which she wanted to have on Hogwarts. The fact that she needed to share a bedroom with a few other girls she was used to right now, but it wasn't exactly something that she liked. The blonde didn't knew either if there was a spell for more space in her suitcase, but in this magical world almost everything was possible right? '' Yes he is, I'm sure he knows a lot and maybe he has another solution.'' Evelyn hoped so because she hated it if her roommates would touch her stuff and move it to another place.

Evelyn saw a change of expression on the face from Amber and she didn't want to scare her on purpose, but she just wanted to say how thing were. Maybe it would be better to be prepared for Styx his ugly hair and everything. '' He is scary I shall not lie. And Styx has the most ugly hairstyle i've ever seen!'' It was also a bit funny to talk about, she could laugh about it with Zara and Lucas. They didn't liked Styx as well, but what Evelyn had heard almost nobody from Gryffindor liked him.
'' Mm.. Not always. You will learn some nice spells. But some lessons are just boring and weird, just like the Professor.'' What Amber said about Herbology was more relaxing for Evelyn. She did love flowers especially roses, but she didn't exactly knew if she was gonna like Herbology. But she just had to wait and see it, gloves sounded nice.

Amber nodded. "If anyone does. It's him." She agreed. Surely, the Charms Professor was the best at Charms in the whole school. Maybe the whole country.

Before this conversation, Amber hadn't considered asking people from other houses what the classes she hadn't had yet were like. But as they discussed it now, it seemed like a good idea. The idea of Defence Against the Dark Arts now sort of scared her, but at least she was prepared. "His hairstyle?" She asked, surprised. "What does it look like?" She tried to picture a very ugly hairstyle, but didn't really know what to think. Evelyn had very pretty hair, maybe all other hair looked ugly to someone like that. "It's too bad he's scary. I was hoping it would be fun..." Evelyn said there were useful spells, but Amber couldn't imagine enjoying a class while scared of the Professor, no matter how useful it was.

She wracked her brain to think of another class she was going to have next semester that Evelyn's house already took. She frowned, trying to picture the schedule in her mind. "Have you had Potions yet?" She asked eventually. "We haven't yet. If you have, is it fun? It seems scary to me, what if you put in the wrong thing and it smells really bad? Or explodes all over your clothes?" She paused, thinking more. "Is that Professor scary too?"

Evelyn nodded at Amber about Misha his skills. She was a bit curious how Misha became a Professor and how he will look like when he was younger. Maybe she will find out once, she hoped that she will have Misha for many more years. And from the one Professor the chat went to the worst Professor. Talking about the Professors was just really something for Evelyn. She was a gossip girl for sure, but when it came to face to face she would choose for the last. She was open and honest about what she thought, so she let Misha knew that he her favorite teacher and Styx would know that Evelyn didn't like him. She chuckled when she saw Amber her face expression when Evelyn began about Styx's hairstyle. '' It is so weird, when I first saw it I was like, how is this possible! It is like he put his fingers into the socket.'' She laughed when thinking about that memory. She knew that she had asked the rude question if his hair was exploded when using a spell. Well.. Styx wasn't very happy about hearing that. '' It is gonna be ok, but just make sure you don't make him mad.'' Evelyn saw some Slytherin students watching to them, they had probably hear them talking about their head of house.

Talking about the lessons was really nice, because Amber could tell her things about lessons she didn't had before and Evelyn the same to Amber. '' I did have potions. Professor Monty is giving the lesson he is a bit weird. He uses a song to learn ingredients, so childish. But it works.'' Evelyn did got a good great for potions but it wasn't her favorite subject. Some lessons were ok, but mostly they were boring. '' Well, you have to listen carefully yes, but it is a lot of theory in first year.'' The blonde was curious which lessons Amber already had that she didn't. She heard about some lessons but she didn't knew which ones she would still get.
'' So which lessons did you already got?'' she asked friendly.

Amber couldn't help another burst of giggles at Evelyn's description of the Professor's hair. Oh, she hoped she wouldn't just start laughing again as soon as she saw him because of how funny Evelyn made it sound. That would be awfully embarrassing, especially if he really was as scary as Evelyn was implying. "Oh uh, I try not to make anyone mad, especially Professors. I would hate to lose House points."

The glances from the Slytherin students made the last traces of her laughing fit disappear. It was pretty rude to talk about a Professor like this, and she hoped they wouldn't go tell him. That would be a terrible first impression.

The talk about the lessons was a little more relaxing. It was nice to share experiences with someone. "Oh, I bet the song made it easier to remember, though?" She said, not wanting to let the other girl know that she didn't think it was that childish and that it actually sounded like fun. At the thought of more theory, she deflated a bit. "I didn't like the theory in the other lessons much, especially History Of Magic. Have you had that yet? I had History, Transfiguration, Charms, Herbology and Flying last semester."

Evelyn laughed with Amber about the hair of her Professor from Defence Against The Dark Arts. To say this was a funny thing, but when she would actually look at Styx his face she would not laugh anymore, than she would only be scared. But she didn't wanted to lie about that, she wasn't gonna act fake to others. Her father always said to her that she just had to be herself and that was what she did. It would be nice if people liked her for that, but when people didn't that was just too bad for them. '' It isn't my intention to make them mad also, and not at all to lose house points! But well.. I am just honest to them.'' She chuckled to Amber. She would hate it if she would lose house points, she wanted to become a popular student with positive things, but when that would not work she could go for the sneaky stuff, she wasn't really out of it. What she definitely knew was that if she wanted some help for sneaky and not legal stuff she had to be with Lucas. He and Aaron were a dynamic duo and Zara was also a bad ass. Enough people and when she thought about it maybe not the best influence, but well yeah..

Talking about the lessons was interesting. So when Amber told her which lessons she had she wanted to know everything. She just nodded when Amber talked about the song, she wouldn't be too rude about the song. It just wasn't really her thing. '' I didn't had History of Magic, Transfiguration and Herbology. Had Potions, Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Flying ofcourse.'' Evelyn was curious about this new lessons and maybe she could help Amber with her information about the lessons she already had. '' How were your Exams?'' The blonde asked nicely.

What Evelyn said about being honest made Amber feel a little uncertain. It sounded very noble and real, but Amber knew she herself wasn't above lying or lying by omission to avoid getting in trouble or getting judged by anyone. She couldn't help but admire Evelyn for being so confident and open with her words. Amber wouldn't have dared to talk about a professor that way unless she was completely sure they wouldn't be overheard. It was somewhat thrilling.

"It's good to be honest."
She said, smiling. It was a bit of a vague statement to make, but she didn't really want to admit any of her other thoughts about it. It would be best to let the subject drop naturally.

Instead, talking about lessons was less dangerous. It was interesting to hear what Evelyn had to say, and she felt herself grow more excited about the next semester. "My exams went pretty well." She said honestly. It had worried her a little while she was taking them, but she had remembered many of the things all her Professors had taught her surprisingly well. "I did better than I thought I would. What about you?"

A smile appeared on Evelyn her face when Amber replied with saying that it was good to be honest. Evelyn really liked people who were honest towards her, she hated lies and people that tried to be something else. You are brave when you are yourself was something that her dad used to say to her. And Evelyn tried to keep it that way, to just be herself and to not let anybody change her. '' Yes I think so too. I hate lies.'' The day when her mother was so sweet towards her Evelyn never forgot. She thought that her mother saw the light and was over her depression and hate towards Evelyn. But her mother only said those things to her to say at the end of the day that she didn't ment anything that she said. It was just an act in front of the family so that they would think that she was a perfect mother. Evelyn was so sad that night she cried herself into her sleep, and she was only eight years old at that time.

Sharing their results was fun, Evelyn was curious about how others had scored. '' Good to hear, for me the same! I had for every class a O except for Flying class. But that doesn't matter.'' She enjoyed flying but it wasn't the most important class and not her favorite. Evelyn mostly like to talk about her own achievements but she was prepared to listen to others as well, that was something that she already had learned here at Hogwarts. But talking about herself was the thing that she liked the most. And Amber seemed like a person that could handle that. '' So with who do you hang out often at here?'' Evelyn wanted to know who Ambers friends were, so that she could meet them as wel perhaps. She really liked Amber and started to see her as her friend. Because making friends was a new thing for her after being always together with her twin brother, she called almost everybody that she liked a friend. She just wanted to be popular and for becoming that she needed to make a lot of friends. She was on her way, because she had made some friends already. She hopd that Amber would see it also like that, their beginning of a friendship.

Amber liked comparing things with someone else, but it was starting to make her feel a little uncertain as well. Evelyn seemed almost perfect. She was really beautiful, confident, funny and also smart. In comparison, Amber wasn't sure if she measured up. Normally that didn't bother her too much, but she had the strange urge that she wanted to impress this girl more than she had most other students she had talked to.

"Wow, those are some good marks." She said earnestly. "Flying was sort of hard, I wasn't used to it much. Some people were really good though! I was glad not to fall off and break my arm." She shrugged. "I still managed to get an E though, somehow... and for all other subjects too. All except History." It was still a mystery to her how she had gotten an O in the one subject she hadn't really enjoyed that much in the first semester. She had studied extra hard for it, though, because she was worried about failing. It had been somewhat surprising when all the questions on the exam were easy to answer. "I had an O for that." She added somewhat proudly. It wasn't as good as Evelyn's list, but she knew it wasn't bad either.

At the question about her friends, her smile widened. "Oh I met a few people, but my best friend is Ainsley. Do you know her? She's in my house." It didn't seem likely that Evelyn and Ainsley would know each other or even get along, but she liked both of them so she hoped they would.

The blonde wasn't always aware of people that weren't so confident as she was. She thought of it as normal to be confident about yourself and what you could do. Amber seemed like a shy girl. because she didn't really talked about what she all could do. Evelyn really had the feeling that she wanted to help Amber with it, because of how it looked Amber was a very sweet girl that was pretty also with the right clothes. It didn't matter who was standing before her, Evelyn always wanted to impress others. It was just a natural thing that stayed with her. '' Yes I know! I'm so proud of myself.'' When Amber mentioned it she felt really proud about what she had accomplished. Evelyn didn't felt about flying as hard because it went pretty well, but she was glad that she didn't felt from her broom that would have been terrible! '' Yes indeed. That would be so embarrassing.'' It was really good from Amber to get those grades especially for History of magic. Evelyn had it this semester and she found it so boring! Just as almost all the classes from this semester. Evelyn liked Defence Against the Dark Arts even more than this classes, if that was possible with Styx. '' So that is very good from you Amber. I really find History of Magic so boring from what I've heard.'' Just lecture was not really what Evelyn liked, she also liked some action if it didn't met that she would make her hands dirty.

About the Question of with who Amber was hanging out Evelyn was curious what she would be answering. Perhaps she already knew a few people, because she was meeting more and more people so her goal to become popular was in progress. When Amber mentioned a Ainsley she didn't really saw a face with it.
'' Oke, I don't know her. How is she like? Don't you have more people that you like?'' Evelyn yawned for a second she was getting tired and not because she found this conversation boring but just that it was getting late.
