June made her way out of the library, after some studying. Her shiny even more pretty badge than her prefect had been on her jacket. June made sure that everyone could see it. It was now even more clear that she was the best, better than everyone out of them. Better than the other prefects, one thing she already knew herself. And her hard work and good relationship with most of the professors had helped to make it happen. June knew confidence would bring you far, exactly what her father had said to her. With her bag on her shoulder she walked further. Looking around to see if there were some troublemakers around. But than she noticed someone walking in her way. And everytime June saw his face something happend inside. It was usually anger. And there had been some sadness too. But usually hate. Professor Landon Carter was walking these halls and he shouldn't if it was to June. He was responsable for sending her father to Azkaban permanently, and because of that was also responsable in June's eyes for the death of her mother, who died not long ago after that. He was not alone to blame, her own sister Lauren, but in June's eyes she wasn't anymore was one to blame too.

June took an deep breath, making herself ready for an oscar nomination acting. And put on an smile, like she was taught to do and now had experiance with. She had made an promise to her father, and now she had her badge as headgirl there was only one thing left to do for her here and achieve her last goal before she would leave hogwarts. And for that to happen, she needed to get closer to Landon, and show some emotions. So as he came closer she smiled shortly to him, making sure he noticed her.

Landon always liked the beginning of a new school year. It felt fresh and exciting, and he loved seeing new faces around the halls wherever he went, despite missing the ones that had left the year before. But he knew they were off to bigger and better things and had always wished them well.

The man had just finished watering some of the plants in the common room and his lounge and headed out of the common room so he could make his way to his office by the greenhouses and do some lesson planning. He wasn't sure what kind of first years he would be getting this year, but he hoped they would be a cheery bunch, and ready to learn. It felt strange that Tess was no longer amongst the smallest group in the castle.

As he walked, Landon smiled as he spotted a friend. "June!" he exclaimed. "Congratulations on the title! How does it feel?" Landon knew there were a few very deserving people of the head girl badge this year, and June was quite lucky that she ended up being the one wearing it.

As Landon came in her way, he seemed to be way too excited. June knew she could fake, but she believed Landon did too. Mostly the Hufflepuffs, they seemed to be way to excited all the time. That couldn't be true. But she smiled back and he was by accident perhaps running into her, but he congratulated her and June smiled bright. She liked getting the attention about it. Although she didn't believed any word that Landon said. '' Thank you, Professor.'' she replied back. And thought for an moment. '' It feels really special. I'm happy.'' The blonde gave as answer. June always wondered what the man thought of her. He would have take her in his house she knew, if she wanted back than. Three girls, she Camille and Lauren ofcourse. But June could never be in the same roof with them, not as an home. Not with Lauren especially. It had been an plan of her father, but it had been too hard for June. She was good in faking, and putting up an act. But that would not go well. So she had chosen for another professor, who came on her path. And it had been the better choice for sure. June looked up to Landon and her smile disappeared for an moment. '' Now that I see you, I've actually wanted to talk to you. '' June started more seriously. '' For some time.. but I wasn't ready.. but now I guess I am.'' She explained. And tried to look around to see if there was somewhere they could talke more private. An empty classroom perhaps.

Landon smiled as June mentioned that she was happy about the new title. Most people were quite happy for it as it was something they had to look forward to their whole school life. As June said she wanted to talk to him about something, which seemed serious, Landon's smile quickly faded and he raised an eyebrow in concern. He wondered what it could be about - school or perhaps her sisters? Surely if it was about school, then the main person she wanted to talk to was Professor Castillo. However, June seemed to be sure about talking to Landon. There were many reasons for this going through Landon's head, and he wanted June to feel comfortable about talking to him. "Of course, you can talk to me about anything." he reassured her. He peered into the door of a classroom and opened it up to see there was no one in there. "Did you want to perhaps talk in here? Or are you comfortable in the hallway?"
