Eoghan had asked some of his friends where to find Miles, and they'd told him to check the Quidditch pitch given the practice session was ongoing. "Miles Flynn?" Eoghan waited until they'd taken a break before intruding, hoping the team members didn't mind him being there.

He had already been embarrassed enough by the roses he was receiving to the point he was more or less dreading hearing someone calling his name. Miles had hoped that the last one would have been the end of it, but apparently he wasn't going to be so lucky. And right in the middle of practice as well. "That's me," he sighed with a tight smile. "Let me guess, rose?"

Eoghan nodded, handing the yellow rose to the second year. "Yeah, this one's got your name on it."
