Off to Istanbul!

Hey everyone!

I'm going on a school trip to Istanbul on Wednesday and won't be back until May 12. I don't have a lot going on at the moment, but my apologies for the delay in replies nonetheless! I already posted an absence form on the Professors OOC forum since I won't be able to post exams or grade them (sorry).

Please wish me luck as I will travel via plane for the first time in my life... And I'm scared of heights, what a brilliant combo.

Think of flying as a roller coaster but without wind. Unless you are afraid of those, then just a car ride.

Have fun! Flying isn't so bad, take-off and landing can be a bit daunting but once you're in the air you'll be fine, plenty of ways to distract yourself. Istanbul is a really cool place and I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Turns out flying isn't that bad if you don't look out of a window, it also did kind of feel like riding a roller coaster!

I had a lot of fun in Istanbul and do recommend going there to anyone who loves history, there was so much to see and read and hear!
